Features of Harvest
Reviews of Harvest

It simplifies time tracking and is easy to use
Comments: It eliminates the complexity and difficulty of keeping track of time and is very easy to use. We can see how much time is being spent on which projects and for which clients.
Pros:
Harvest is a convenient tool for keeping tabs on time and money spent on various projects and clients. We use it to monitor expenditures in real time and to plan for future initiatives by analyzing past work and resources.
Cons:
There have been no problems where I have been unable to complete a task. There aren't any serious issues, however, the platform might need some further functionality since it's so basic.
time tracking at its best
Comments: really happy with it and can adjust requirements per client/ project needs - its quick and simple to manage timers throughout the day and stop/ start as needed
Pros:
simple to use and integrates to other project management tools, sits as an app or can be used on a browser - includes a mobile app so can track time when out the office on client meetings / visits
Cons:
time tracking continues unless you stop the timer so on occasions you close down for the day and if you forget the timer running it will continue until the following day! id does email you but if you don't look at the email then you miss it!
Alternatives Considered: ClickUp
Reasons for Switching to Harvest: cost and simple to use, also the app is a bonus for working remotely or out on the road between client visits
Simple tool to get started but lacks potential to scale
Comments: Its a simple product that can be quickly setup and used for simple time tracking and invoice generation.
Pros:
Ease of use. Theres basically nothing you can do wrong.
Cons:
The small amount of functionalities and the lack of customization possibilities.

Thanks for the compliments on our ease of use! I've noted your interest in more customization for the rest of the team.
Easy to use for individual time tracking and project time tracking.
Comments: Overall it's been a good experience. I've been using it for the past 1 1/2 years to manage my own time and also track project time for clients.
Pros:
I like that it's fairly intuitive. The user interface is clean and friendly. It integrates well with Google Chrome. I find it easy to set up projects and track time.
Cons:
I wish on an individual time card you could see what time (clock time) was logged instead of total time. I.e. see that 10 minutes was logged from 9:00-9:10 instead of just 10 minutes total.

Thanks for your kind words and the feedback! I've recorded your request for timestamps when tracking via Duration.
Ease of Use is second to none!
Comments: We've had an excellent time implementing and training staff with Harvest. It's exporting to our Quickbooks is excellent, and I'd recommend it to any small business as the cost is totally worth it.
Pros:
We were able to implement Harvest within an hour and train all staff within another hour. The ease of use is excellent, and reoccurring invoicing has been super helpful.
Cons:
We've had a few issues with numbered invoices going from 100 to 400 (example) and support wasn't the easiest to work with.

I've been using Harvest since 2015!
Comments: It does a great job of tracking time and it so simple to use. I use the reports aspect weekly to send time reports to my clients to keep them informed on time spent. My time reports are done quickly thanks to their detailed reporting.
Pros:
I love how easy Harvest is to use and set up for your business. It's simple to create projects as they have enough detail. It's simple to switch tasks while time tracking.
Cons:
I did not like the limit on profiles for the free version. I guess I see the why but if you have an established business, you can't just try it out with a full client list.
Alternatives Considered: Clockify
Reasons for Switching to Harvest: I preferred the UI with Harvest over Clockify
They stopped development on the app and most likely whole operation.
Pros:
I like the most that its easy to setup and use. UI is getting but old but its simple and intuitive.
Cons:
Their app constantly bugs out and starts using 20% of the processor. Are they running mining operation!? If you forget you timer over night time cannot be auto corrected. Even when app clearly shows that you have not used computer for 14h ours. When you press button to stop and remove those hours suddenly app forgets what's happening and states that no timer is running. At this point I consider this as a crypto miner and most likely I pay more a month for this sucker electrical bills than a subscription. They stopped development on the app and most likely whole operation.
Harvesting you time correctly
Comments: Harvest is great. It helps my Job keep track of multiple clients and what I do for them. Makes it easy to break down each task and even comment about the task
Pros:
I like how if you have to manually enter the number of minutes into the system and it converts the time to the decimal percentage for you. Harvest doesn't make you have to stop and figure it out yourself
Cons:
Very touchy. If you accidentally hit enter or esc you must start all over

Thanks for the kind words, Bambi! I've made a note of your feedback re: the enter and escape keys for our team.
Ease of use
Comments: Harvest is a great software with little or no bug issues and is user-friendly.
Pros:
It is user friendly and I had no freezing issues while using the software.
Cons:
It did not have a way to handle multiple search or report prints.
Great Platform for Self-Employed
Comments: Overall, Harvest has been great! I’m glad I found it for tracking my contracted time.
Pros:
I love the invoicing option within Harvest.
Cons:
Wish I could name projects the same name just with different codes

Thanks for the kind words! Harvest started as a tool to help our founders track their time and invoice clients for their two-person business, and we love hearing about other small businesses and self-employed folks finding us.

The Easiest Time Tracking Tool I Have Ever Used
Comments: Great. The software does exactly what it needs to, we have ZERO problems with it, it is affordably priced... what's not to like?
Pros:
Harvest is just really really really easy to use. Setting it up is fast and painless, administering jobs is easy, filling out timesheets is easy. Our team had a hard time tracking time prior to Harvest, and once we started using this software it became (almost) painless overnight.
Cons:
It isn't really a "con" but Harvest is built to serve agencies who have multiple clients and bill them for work performed. We are an internal department within a company, so we had to work around some of the structural elements built into Harvest, but it was no problem. We easily adopted the platform to meet our needs.
Alternatives Considered: monday.com
Reasons for Choosing Harvest: Team Gantt's interface was clunky, administering it was not intuitive and we had low acceptance / low compliance with our creative teams. Harvest is much simpler to use and now we have virtually no pushback from the teams about timesheet compliance.
Reasons for Switching to Harvest: We chose Harvest over Monday.com because Harvest was much simpler. We preferred that over a bigger more complex tool.
High quality timesheet tool
Pros:
Quality. The UI is very slick; they've really gone deep on how people use the product. Things like keyboard shortcuts and supporting regular vs decimal time when entering timesheets are a real time saver.
Cons:
Some of the month-by-month project reporting requires paging through each month. It would be nice to see several months in one view.
Alternatives Considered: Toggl Track
Reasons for Switching to Harvest: At the time, down to integrations with Xero.

Easy to Use!
Comments: Overall, I enjoy the platform for how efficient and easy to use it is.
Pros:
It is easy to use and user friendly, even to those who have never used the platform.
Cons:
There is currently no way to link tasks to specific user roles, however that is not a major issue.

Time Tracking with Harvester
Comments: Great, i think has some comprehensive feature and makes everything in one place when is regard to time-tracking.
Pros:
When working with multiple projects and clients, time-tracking can be a must and for me is crucial. What i like most is eas of use because is user friendly and integration options with mobile access.
Cons:
Nothing yet, but would be greate to have a desktop app.
Harvest: A Time Tracking System that Has Brilliant Features
Pros:
Harvest has amazing features that makes time tracking smooth. I like how efficient Harvest has been. I am impressed by Harvest's reliability.
Cons:
Harvest meets our needs. I do not have dislikes concerning Harvest.
Harvest Review
Pros:
It's helpful and effective at streamlining time schedules.
Cons:
The pro subscription cost is slightly more expensive than other options.
Harvest is the best time tracking and expense management tool
Pros:
The ease and efficiency of use. The platform requires very minimal time and effort to track the time spent on a task. Also, submitting expenses is another great feature that is very easy and efficient to use
Cons:
Nothing that I can think of at my capacity
Accurate time tracking tool
Pros:
Harvest it's a user-friendy application for time-tracking, really easy to use and pretty straightforward. It has a simple navigation and features, and it allows to record the time spent on every tasks and every project very accurately. It also has a mobile app, being able also to use it on the go when i'm not at my desk.
Cons:
As a user, the accuracy on time tracking can be extenuating when working with several projects and tasks at the same time. Additionally, I think that some features like replicating time records from day to day or even week to week could allow users to save timee in case project reporting don't vary.
Excels at time tracking and expenses, don't look for more.
Pros:
Does exactly what it says it can do, track time and it does it well.
Cons:
Only does one thing for the monthly price that adds up per seat.
A time & money saver
Pros:
It is so easy to track time every day, see what other team mates are working on and review the expenses / costs of a project vs the revenue it brings, helping us improve our processes
Cons:
Overall I feel it's a great product with very little lacking, can't complain
Excellent Time Tracking Tool
Pros:
It is a user friendly tool. We do micro-billing and it's easy to track time for multiple clients throughout the day
Cons:
I would like the reports function to be a bit simpler
Avis harvest
Pros:
The harvest software is very good software for project management. With it I save time and my invoicing is simple and fast. Jr highly recommends to everyone
Cons:
The problem with harvest is its high cost. Likewise, its user interface is a bit complex as well as the reports which are very limited.
Data and information is power, and Harvest helps capitalize on better understanding company time
Comments: Working with Harvest has been an overall positive experience because it helps us keep track of billable/nonbillable hours and analyze how our company time is spent. This data has already given us insights into policy changes that maximize performance, profit, and output.
Pros:
* The API is easy to work with and works well. * We use Harvest for billing/invoicing, and it saves HR/accounting lots of time.* It gives us data on billable/nonbillable work hours we have been able to examine to restructure the way we work on projects to reach our financial goals. We've already seen progress towards these goals and we could not have made these realizations without Harvest.
Cons:
The 'payment type' (i.e. net 15, net 30, custom, etc.) is set static at a default--having the ability to customize this per client would be very helpful. Its sales tax functionality is quite limited, even with Quickbooks integration. The desktop Harvest app is a little 'buggy', but nothing that we can't work around.
Good software for my startup business
Pros:
it was easy to set up and affordable. As a new business that was budget conscious, this was a great for us
Cons:
As we grew and needed more features, harvest just wasn't a fit for us
Time is money
Comments: Easy to use and effective time-tracking software.
Pros:
The meaningful and somehow poetic quotes for every day of the week really keep me going. Nice way to get some inspiration while filling up the timesheet.
Cons:
Sometimes I completely forget to submit the week for approval. Tracking time on a daily basis is quite easy. however, submitting the week for approval it in the end of the day on Friday might be an extraordinarily difficult task.
