> From simply backing up data from one drive to another to scheduling synchronization of data between servers, ViceVersa makes is easy and efficient. There no guess work. You can preview what the selection action will result in. If you want some other action, you can choose a different action or simply exclude files or folders before anything happens. ViceVersa gives us confidence that what we want to be backed up or synced will be done exactly like we want it to be.

> **Pros**: It offers multiple options to backup your files like replication, synchronization or simple backup copy. I used it to replicate multiple sources to one single target 4TB external hard drive. There were over 2 million files and it was possible to compare and preview the output using a side by side comparison before actually doing the copy operations. The compare feature is very helpful.

> **Cons**: Honestly there were no drawbacks. It copies files in a very safe way provided you know what you're doing (for instance do not select synchronization if you care to keep old versions in your target backup destination). I'd like it to be faster, but it probably depends on the hardware in use.
