Reviews of Meta for Business

A powerful, yet complicated, advertising tool
Comments: We are an advertising agency and we are using Meta for Business on a daily basis for a number of our clients. The wealth of tools & options that it provides can be powerful when used correctly. However, the complexity of the tool and the endless metrics can misguide both users and end clients, when it comes to reviewing results & deciding on upcoming campaign optimisations.
Pros:
The platform is always updated & renewed with new functionalities to help advertisers target their audiences.
Cons:
The fact that the platform is always updated, it makes it less user friendly, especially for people who are not using it on a daily basis. Also, the platform is trying to automate everything through AI hence users need to be really experienced in order to make the most out of the platform.
Alternatives Considered:
Advertising Manager
Comments: My overall experience is i've been using the platform over the last 10-12 years running ads for various events, concerts, brands or talent.
Pros:
Running ads via multiple placements using one platform to control ad delivery.
Cons:
You cant control frequency within the platform and even when you create rules they are not as effective as you'd like them to be.
Not for media amateurs -
Comments: You really need to be quite an expert to make money from meta these days
Pros:
The preview options and niche audience targeting options
Cons:
It’s very in intuitive- even setting up with an expert had problems

Meta for Business Review
Comments: I would say it's an average experience. It gets the job done but doesn't wow me. For advanced scheduling I use a third-party tool (ContentStudio) rather than directly through Meta.
Pros:
It makes it pretty easy to collaborate and connect to my client's Meta Accounts.
Cons:
There are updates being made a lot and oftentimes links won't take you to the right spot and jump back to broken links or missing links.
The real recipe for smart working.
Comments: It brings out modern working experience.Things are done perfectly and fast while using this software. If you want to take your brand in the next level. This is the most actionable way to use.
Pros:
Meta for Business is an excellent social media marketing solution.Have used it to market my work.It stores files well.Has this phenomenal features which helps you in finding the right customers for your business.Since the time I started using it have noticed a huge growth rate in my sales.Meta for Business is flexible to everyone and it is easy to use.You can monitor how audiences are interacting with our products via a mobile phone and all thanks to this incredible software.
Cons:
Meta for Business is what we all need if we want to scale into new heights of success.no cons for it has really brought a great impact in my company.

It's simply a very bad tool overall
Comments: HORRIBLE. That's it! We just use it sometimes because our customers ask for it, but we try to avoid it whenever possible.
Pros:
I honestly do not see many pros for this other than still having a lot of users inside Facebook and Instagram. Other than that, it's miserable!
Cons:
The fact that menus are constantly changing. Multiple and unstable errors in multiple parts of the platform. "Robot like" answers from support (this is by far the worst support I've ever seen and I know many people that worked for their support that gave up because their managers were simply very bad so it's a top to bottom problem inside the company). It's unbearable the fact that I know one specific case where two accounts (one page and one personal profile) that were stolen and their automated answer was multiple times the same: "You have to login to your account and change your password." A stolen account and this is the answer to the original owner? It's just unbelievable. We had multiple cases where we wanted to stop a campaign and were charged more than what we initially expected. We had cases where we wanted to remove ourselves or customers from pages and there were multiple errors. We cannot believe how Meta Business can still survive honestly... other than the number of users, it's horrible their service.
Alternatives Considered:
Critical asset for social media marketing
Comments: Overall very easy to use and learn, with a lot of versatility. Great features for scheduling posts and engaging with customers.
Pros:
Great system for scheduling and sharing out posts, as well as engaging with customers on a personal and broad level.
Cons:
A little too complicated having to switch to each individual business page when managing multiple pages
Great for scheduling!
Comments: Great for scheduling posts but I am sure there is a lot more I can do with Meta for Business.
Pros:
That I can use it to schedule my Facebook and IG posts ahead of time which helps my productivity
Cons:
Keeping up with the constant changes to the platform can be a struggle sometimes.
Alternatives Considered:
A must have for new businesses
Comments: easy to use and suggest any new business get it
Pros:
easy to use, gets my name out quick, i can post fast and then be on my way doing other more important business stuff
Cons:
not really anything that i do not like so far.
Alternatives Considered:
Used for a number of years
Comments: Good, it is easy to use for day to day functions and the app is handy!
Pros:
It is relatively easy to use, share between colleagues and monitor performance of posts. Combines instagram and facebook management for efficiency.
Cons:
Some of the settings are harder to find or require visiting facebook directly to acess. The cost vs return on paid advertising has dropped over the past ten years.
Meta for Business is NECESSARY for Business
Pros:
Every business needs Meta for Business. Being able to schedule content, having your content calendar, viewing analytics, real-time chat and automated chat, and having both Facebook and Instagram is crucial. It's very easy to use, and it often has valuable recommendations, including active times for posting. It's perfect for marketers who work with multiple accounts because you can be an admin of an unlimited amount of accounts. It's free, and paid advertising is low-cost. The analytics alone would be worth paying (but you don't have to!). There are so many great features and functions - I could keep writing for hours.
Cons:
There are not many cons with Meta for Business. On rare occasions, a post may fail to publish when it's scheduled—that can be very frustrating, so it's important to check to make sure it's published properly. You may have an issue with tagging as a user may not always come up but there's a workaround by typing in the profile URL. Meta for Instagram analytics is frequently inaccurate, so I highly recommend going directly to Instagram and manually pulling post analytics.
A necessary platform for all businesses
Comments: All in all, a tool that's easy enough to navigate and manage instagram and facebook presences simultaneously. It seems to be updated regularly which is positive, but the customer support is awful as it's all done through bots/pre loaded content. A pet hate!
Pros:
This platform makes it easy to collaborate between team members.
Cons:
It's not always straightforward to find what you need in the first instance, so can take a long time if you're unsure of something.
Meta Enhances our Growth
Comments: We are a small nonprofit. Donations and engagement from social media make up a not-insignificant amount of our fundraising. We are not in a position to even consider removing social media from our business plan. However, we found that there was a significant knowledge gap between staff members who use social media for personal use and professionals who implement marketing strategies. We don't have the budget to hire a full-time social media marketer. At the same time, having untrained staff oversee our social media accounts resulted In underwhelming campaign results and dozens of hours of loss productivity due to their lack of understanding of the features provided by Meta for Business. Utilizing Meta for Business has solved both of those problems. I strongly recommend businesses use the approach we used. It saves money, results in more engagement, and provides a more professional appearance.
Pros:
The automated programming, ability to schedule posts, and the analytics that are provided are save us countless hours of manpower each week. By hiring a person to come once a week, we have been able to cut the operations costs of social media campaigns to less than 20% of what we were spending.
Cons:
There are no drawbacks or negative impacts of using Meta that would lead us to consider another approach. If anything, the biggest drawback is that it doesn't work on other social media platforms. Once we started using it, we quickly realized how much better it was than the included software on other platforms.
Meta is still essential
Comments: It really hasn't been bad, but like I said there's just a lot of spam that gets through and I don't know where that moderation happens.
Pros:
Meta still provides crucial access to social demographics and is there for imperative for any organization trying to solicit or educate on their services. So what I like most about it was the simple fact that I have access to a lot of people through it.
Cons:
Too much spam and political agendizing. It just soils the whole of the experience
Meta for Online Business Management
Comments: I am able to grow my online business with the help of this platform. I can schedule my post and manage my page without spending a lot of time in it.
Pros:
It has a lot of features that can help me manage my online platform for business.
Cons:
At first I find it hard to maneuver the features but with continuous use I learn to get along
Meta at its best
Pros:
This is a great tool for reaching your audience and marketing to the right people. The set up is ease for getting a page ready to run. Posting is great and can be done on multi-platforms all at once. The planner is a convenient way to keep on track.
Cons:
The cost to run the actual ads can be pricey. The schedule posting should go more then 30 days in advanced. The initial layout for the suites can be a bit confusing.
Great for tapping into the power of Facebook's algorithms
Comments: Very good. Takes a bit of time to get familiar with it, and it does keep changing. But overall, it's very good.
Pros:
Really works re putting posts and adverts infront of the right audience.
Cons:
The pixel is not as useful as I would like it to be.
Zero Business Ethics and Human Decency
Comments: Zero benefits. Tons of headaches. They actually gave my Instagram username which I paid a consultant to grow to 3000 and manage content to a pervert looking for sex with women. I probably have a defamation suit, too. But I'm sick of thinking of this disgustingly greedy company.
Pros:
Instagram. I so so so sad Meta purchased it.
Cons:
I sued them for Gross Negligence and won in San Diego Superior Court. This is how the racket works: The hackers post child porn to the small businesses controlling FB page which get you locked out of all your Meta Platforms profiles. The hackers then charge advertising for their most likely fraudulent products to the payment-methods-on-file for small businesses they hack using child porn, which I was. The hackers charged much, much more than my small businesses budget ever would allow.. Then the hackers get to sell their fraudulant wares to Facebook and Instagram Users to victimize them (all on the small business victims dime.). The hackers win because they sell their fraudulent wares using the hacked accounts of small business victims. And Meta wins because they get tons more advertising sales to report. The losers are child porn victims because they drive up the value of child porn and us, the legitamate clients who advertise on Meta Platforms, as well as, the Facebook and Instagram Users who get tricked into purchasing the fraudulant wares. (This would explain why Meta doesn't offer easy access customer service support to the small business advertising clients that were victimized by the hackers. Gross Negligence is more profitable than safeguarding paid advertisers and Users. At the end of the trial, the Judge informed me that Meta gets paid no matter what -- because they get to keep the money. Banks don't go after fraudulant charges if it's cheaper not to.
Meta Review
Pros:
I love the scheduling options for Meta. It's easy to schedule posts and now stories for both Facebook and Instagram. I'm a huge fan of the scheduling piece.
Cons:
Two cons I have are: 1) You can share media/news articles. This is crucial for spreading awareness for causes and issues. 2) When you schedule for stories, you cannot tag other accounts, so you have to do it afterwards.

Meta Rating
Comments: I've used it for years to great effect in getting my business noticed.
Pros:
Great tool for advertising our business specifically targeting local prospects.
Cons:
Organic growth is becoming difficult and target marketing is not as effective as it used to be.
Results are Worth It
Comments: Overall I do like the option to use Meta for my business and like that I can track results. It can be technically difficult to set up campaigns and get effective results. Sometimes is glitch and lord help you if something goes wrong and you need support - practically impossible to get in touch and get actual help.
Pros:
I do get results most of the time and can attribute results directly to my advertising spend
Cons:
Can be complicated and difficult to set up. Customer support is not great. They will spend your money. highly monetized platform

It can be very confusing to find things within the app.
Business Social Media

The advertising targetting has been reduced in past years due to regulations
