The clients' choice

5.0 last week New

Comments: Really positive. It's fairly straightforward

Pros:

Some of my clients are already comfortable with Divi - making it an obvious choice when setting those websites up.

Cons:

No cons really... although some other software providers are a little simpler

Everything starts with Divi.

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Perhaps not easy to use "out of the box" per se, but very easy indeed to get started with the support of an experienced "Getting Started" in-person and/or online service provider who encourages DIY development.

Pros:

Cost competitiveness; Awesomely efficient support technology and people. (Well, the screenspace of the support chat could be increased for use with 4K displays, but who's counting :) )

Cons:

Almost nothing (I had to jump over a version release once, but that wasn't a big deal)

Good but not good enough

3.0 last month New

Comments: I used Dive for a couple of years when I became a client of a hosting company that included Divi (paid version) in their hosting plans. So I recommended it to clients too. At the beginning everything was straight forward eventually I found myself struggling with some customization issues and also with some common bugs on the simplest things (video embedded from YouTube didn't play) And support never gave a clear answer on something so basic. Also sites were a bit heavy to load, speaking to devs they suggested that using Element or would be better and in fact I never switched back.

Pros:

It offers a wide range of options to build websites from a visual drag and drop editor. Also the UX is very visually pleasing

Cons:

It might have limitations in terms of flexibility and performances.

Beautiful themes for your website

5.0 9 months ago

Pros:

It's really easy to create content using blocks and sections reorganize pages on your website and I like the visual builder as well.

Cons:

It's pretty complicated to get started if you have no background in web design, understanding how to create buttons and changing different aspects of the page. However, it is very intuitive. So once you get into it and use it for a little bit, you start to understand how the software works

Nothing but greatness from Divi

5.0 last month New

Comments: They have supported me for years with their platform. Making it possible for me to learn how to build websites, and to start my own business. One of the most valuable tools I have ever used.

Pros:

The massive scale of options and functionalities, and the amazing customer support.

Cons:

There isn't anything that I don't like about Divi. There are some small points of improvement, but they are always developing, fine-tuning, and take customer experiences in consideration.

Takeaways after years of working with divi

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Overall, the Pros clearly outweigh the cons. The customer support is the most outstanding thing about divi. Their live-chat support is available 24/7, and mostly you get an answer within a few minutes for all problems you might face when creating websites for yourself or your clients. You still need to buy one AIO plugin on top of your divi license if you want to get the most out of it. My recommendation would be to pick either Divi Pixel or Divi Toolbox (not sponsored, btw^^ there are other great alternatives too). Again, keep in mind that these are one-time purchases and also have a lifetime license attached to it.

Pros:

- outstanding customer support - Divi marketplace allowing for all plugins you can ask for - Divi cloud making saving your templates / images / sections and re-using them on other websites a very smooth process - Divi builder has lifetime licenses, saving lots of money

Cons:

- The Divi builder can, on rare occasions, get very slow to use. This can happen if you are working on big websites. A workaround if that happens is to create new sections on an empty page, save the section after it is finished, and then import it to the existing page.

Divi - make WordPress faster

Comments: Divi is a well build WordPress theme, is light weight and fast wich increase core vitals and search appearence. The support is great and responses are fast, very helpful when you need them.

Pros:

One of the best feature for me is the visual site builder. It saved me some money because i did not bought another plugin. It has many customizable templates wich can be easily changed to my needs. Visual builder is easy to use and when i need to update any info on the website i can do it myself without any programming skills. It integrates very good with SEO plugins and on page optimization is made easy and fast.

Cons:

There are no cons for Divi, for me is working very good.

Divi Theme and it's positive Features

5.0 last year

Comments: Using Divi Theme you can create modern websites very quickly. The price of the theme is reasonable for the offered functionality and the licensing policy is very moderate compared to other themes. Therefore, I can still recommend the Divi theme for most websites.

Pros:

When I first tried the Divi theme, I was very surprised that it doesn't require writing a single line of code to create responsive layouts. What I often had to painstakingly create directly in CSS can be done with Divi without even knowing what CSS is, by simply using a slider. There's no more backend where you have to paste shortcodes (and don't you dare forget a bracket!). You work directly on your site in Divi and see your changes immediately. This is a really big advantage compared to before where shortcodes were used or other page builders.Just clicked the wrong button and the layout slipped? Divi has an Undo function that lets you undo your last changes with just one click.Divi comes with a variety of modules. So you can easily add images, sliders, icons, texts, price lists, videos, newsletter forms, galleries, countdowns and much more to your site. Additional plugins are not necessary. This offers the advantage that your site will not be slowed down by a multitude of plugins.

Cons:

Updates don't always seem to be tested very well by Elegant Themes - it has happened quite often that after an update some smaller things didn't work anymore. Or the new functions work for simple use cases, but cause problems in detail. The Divi backend (the Divi Builder) still feels very sluggish even after the latest performance improvements to the frontend. Working especially with longer pages often becomes a test of patience even with potent equipped servers ...

A good starting point for quick wins

4.0 7 months ago

Pros:

Divi is a great tool to bang out websites quickly, or throw some quick proof of concepts together.

Cons:

Although it appears to be quite user-friendly, the learning curve can be quite steep to actually make the full use of its features, and it can be difficult to train others to use.

A great investment

5.0 last year

Comments: It simplifies things so much when I'm only using one theme, and that it's not hard-coded but provides flexible design capabilities. I don't have to go on a search for a new theme every time I get a new website assignment, I can just consult with my client on what they desire and jump right into building it. No two of my sites are alike, yet many began with the cloning of an existing site, then customizing it to my client's specifications and needs.Like all visual builders, Divi might take a little while to get comfortable with for a first-time user, but between the great documentation, the ease of use built into the theme, and top notch tech support, it won't take long before you're fluent with the tools and building gorgeous websites to your heart's delight.Every time I think things have gotten a little stale with the back end, Elegant Themes comes up with a great feature that's also helpful and time-saving. For instance, the Divi support Center - LOVE that we can access support from the theme admin of any particular site, that the controls to allow remote access to support reps are right there, and that one can activate safe mode to see if an issue is resolved by deactivating all the plugins without having to disable them for all other viewers. Brilliant. Just one of the many fantastic improvements the Divi team has introduced over the years that keep making this theme a better investment and a better choice than all the other comparable theme builders.

Pros:

I started using Divi when it was first released. As a busy web designer, it greatly reduced the amount of time and effort it took to create a beautiful custom website for my clients and it was a huge improvement over the other themes Elegant Themes offered at the time. It wasn't long before I invested in a lifetime membership, which has paid for itself over and over again. I also recommend upgrading to VIP support, which I did as soon as it became available. For a busy web professional, getting support in the most timely manner possible is a huge benefit and has saved me a lot of time already.

Cons:

I really can't think of anything I dislike about Divi at this stage. The development team seems to have thought of everything when it comes to making a website easily and effectively, with tons of options that even I don't use, but I know there are many out there who do and who might want to. Every time I start wondering if a particular function could be improved, an update comes out and the team has addressed it. The one thing I've seen in other themes that I wish Divi also offered is the ability to add a featured video (playable in place) where one would normally see only an image. This would be great for any site, but I also believe it would increase the conversion rate of an ecommerce site.

Best Pagebuilder ever used

Comments: We have been using Divi for 2 years now and are really impressed.
The ability to save templates in the Divi Cloud is also perfect and makes it easier for us to work together as a team and increases our productivity.
Another thing that is very important to us and works really sensationally with Divi is the perfect support.
If we had a problem, we never had to wait more than 15 minutes for help and so far all challenges have been solved perfectly.
Thank you Divi :)

Pros:

the many templates that are available and the simple handling of the pagebuilder - perfect support!

Cons:

The picture gallery could be a little better - more styles, and features...

Highly Endorse Divi by Elegant Themes

5.0 last year

Comments: I have been working with Divi since 2015. Elegant Themes continues to evolve and add new features. I also appreciate the new VIP Support.

Pros:

What I like the most is that Divi provides so many design elements which allows me to create pages that more closely resemble my client's branding.

Cons:

Sometimes building on the front end is a bit slower - especially if you need to move items. I generally use the original builder in the backend for this.
