### "Review of xOverTime launch of PG\&E Electric Rate Catalog System" — 5.0/5

> **Pros**: The user interface designed and layered overtop the underlying rate catalog data enabled users to specific their rate file via easy drop down menu.  The support of the design engineer ensured complete and accurate data upload from the source files to the catalogs and then easy download of files by analysts requiring electric rate information.  As an administrator of the data, the fact that I could "share" the data with those who had a need enabled me to be visible to the end-users analytical needs so as to constantly improve the use of the xOverTime interface again as a complete and accurate source of electric rate data.

> **Cons**: The lack of internal PG\&E commitment with management changes in providing the rate catalogs as an "internal service" to end-users is our greatest struggle.  This is not a weakness of the software but rather one of organizational structure and behavior.  To ensure the xOverTime rate catalog system was a preferred source of rate data rather than having end-users make individual requests of the rates department continues to be a challenge.  xOverTime system provides users to "self-serve" with controls and awareness by the data owners i.e., rates department.
