They are always approachable, responsive and happy to help, whether that’s resolving an issue or showing staff how to use the system more effectively. > > **Cons**: The main area we feel could be improved is the reporting functionality. A little more flexibility when selecting or excluding particular rooms, and a clearer way to separate hotel rooms from our self-catering lodges, would make reporting easier for us. It would also be helpful to see at a glance how many times a returning guest has stayed, without needing to search their booking history, so we can make sure loyal guests are always recognised. These are relatively small improvements to an otherwise very capable system, and Caterbook are always very good at listening to customer feedback and ideas. > > Overall, our experience with Caterbook has been very positive. Can see everything clearly on the calendar for bookings and a simply hover over a guest gives you a breakdown of their booking information. > > **Cons**: It isn't mobile friendly so you can't use the system 'on the go' you need a tablet/laptop/computer to use the system easily. > > We mostly just use the calendar side of the system for hotel guests, so I cant review the Housekeeping reports or Restaurant reservations. For a small hotel with 2 separate properties, this system is easy to use and the support is there when needed. Would highly recommend.
