Reviews of AVS Video Editor
Good
Pros:
AVS Video Editor is really userfriendly and can easily edit any video.
Cons:
It takes a bit to render the video but it keeps an high quality.
AVS is an Excellent Editor
Comments: Excellent... as an indy filmmaker i do most of my films on AVS
Pros:
Ease in use. Very easy to trim videos & add text
Cons:
Hard to do voiceovers. Have to use a separate program for voice-over
Licence not transferable to new computer
Comments: Reasonably good but there are many other products that can be transferred to a new computer if you upgrade or have computer damaged or stolen.
Pros:
Lots of features in one affordable bundle
Cons:
The fact that the licence is linked to computer instead of user/purchaser. So new computer means buy again. Ridiculous
I Need to Edit Many Things
Comments: I have bought copies for all of my computers
Pros:
Easy to use. The suite of software covers most of my needs.
Cons:
I don't know what I like least. Do I have to not like? Well, a multi-license discount would be nice.
Best Video Editing Software
Comments: Overall experience is just amazing and this software increases my productivity.
Pros:
The High-resolution output feature is just amazing in AVS Video Editor. My client always get the best quality work when I use AVS Video Editor.
Cons:
There is nothing to dislike about AVS Video Editor. Every feature works properly and there is no scope of improvement.
Best video editor
Pros:
Drag and drop very easy to use which makes it easy to pick different video clips
Cons:
Easy to use and more importantly it has a learning process
AVS stands up to all the others
Comments: AVS has helped me remove beeping sounds from alot of my videos that i recorded using a screen recording software. It played an audible beep when the program started recording and AVS removed the beeps by allowing me to cut out that half a second part of the video.
Pros:
AVS is just as good as most of the other mid tier editing programs. There are many useful features and dragging and dropping files into the editor makes it that much easier to get started. I liked that it didn't just ask you to do something and then expected you to know what to do next. It guides you along the way and does a decent job editing.
Cons:
Presently they are offering access to 5AVS4 you programs for $49 for the year. I think if you just wanted the video editor, then $49 for the year is a bit steep.
I love it
Pros:
AVS video editor is user-friendly, it has a really nice interface and there are multiple options to choose from. The software can manage to do a lot of things: recording, edits etc. I really enjoy using it.
Cons:
Maybe it's a software a bit too simple, but I Like to use it regardless.
Picture Ani
Comments: Leaving All above this software edits videos well and also it has some graphic designs in it.
Pros:
If it can create a video from pictures and also add the text on them.
Cons:
It has an older version which sometimes freezes really anything video.
Qualified video editing software
Pros:
It is light weight software, anyone can use it very easily
Cons:
Every feature of the software is very easy, suitable. It can work very well even at the basic level. I am very satisfied.
My review AVS Video Editor
Comments: Best video editing software program for you will depend on your individual needs and budget.
Pros:
1. Supports a variety of video formats, including MP4, AVI, and WMV.2. Easy to use.3. Free trial version.
Cons:
2. Can be unstable at times, and it has been known to crash.2. Some features are only available in the paid version.
Top notch video editor
Comments: The software is suitable for both beginners and professionals, as it offers a simple and easy-to-use interface that doesn't require any prior video editing experience, so basically, it is best suited for beginners like me
Pros:
AVS Video Editor is a great option for me who wants to edit videos quickly and easily. It's a powerful video editing software that provides a variety of tools to enhance your videos with special effects, transitions, and more.
Cons:
It is a little expensive for me but I can't complain because it justifies the price by providing sufficient features.
Simple Quick and Easy Video Editing
Comments: When starting out, it was easy to use and did the simple editing.
Pros:
If you are looking for something simple and easy to use, this is the video editing for you. I first bought this to edit the ends of videos I shot. Then I started using it to splice together videos. Works great.
Cons:
It just does simple editing. When I tried to do larger project it did not keep up.
AVS: My auditioning super tool!
Pros:
Drag and drop; video editing; and formating tool are the top features I use with this platform. They help to make the editing of my auditions quick and easy. I am able to deliver professional edited videos to the Casting Directors which helps me stand out in a crowd of hundreds to thousands of actors auditioning for the same role!
Cons:
There really hasn't been a con just yet. Everything I have used this software for has been perfect for me. I guess the one thing I would like to be made better is the ability to cancel background noise in my videos... not sure if that is even possible but that would be cool.
The easy stuff if easy, the hard stuff it hard.
Comments: I reverted back to Microsoft Movie Maker and abandoned this tool...except for the conversion tools. For audio editing, I use Audacity.
Pros:
The audio and video conversion tools were very good. If you want to import some video and audio, add some transitions and put background music to it, it's easy to do. The more involved tasks (trimming videos, adding transitions and having them stay, syncing the audio with the video) was very difficult.
Cons:
It was very difficult to sync the audio with the video. I used this to sync people speaking and piano playing to the audio. Adding text to the video was difficult to get the font, size and position consistent. Also, when I bought a new PC, I could not transfer my license. I had to buy a new license.
Very Powerful Editor
Comments: I like the editor because it allows me to crop and resize while keeping the aspect ratio, it does not add additional artifact to the output file and using it with AVS Video converter make it a seamless transition
Pros:
Easy to use, and fast on rendering (if you have a good cpu)
Cons:
The features are good but lack support for 3rd party hardware. What I mean I have the Nvidia 1050 TI which has cuda and hardware acceleration built in but currently this version does not take advantage of this, or it just does not work on my current installation. Secondly it does not fully support DVD compliant output, as it is more leaning toward MP4 and H.264/265, because most of the things I do are in broadcast format MPEG-2, If I edit in this software I can only export to MP4 or h.264/265 and then use another program to convert to MPEG-2 which adds more time to my project and the quality suffers because I and using multiple compressions
Cosplay Leather Jacket Suzahdi Relies on AVS Highly Efficient Assistance in Video Social Media
Pros:
The ease-of-use, intuitive processes, and versatility of the AVS features in video editing...what we appreciate most of all! Easy to use!
Cons:
We need to study AVS video and text guidance more to be even more effective in our use, but that is our problem, not AVS's
Alternatives Considered:
I am satisfied, but with a little flaw...
Comments: It is quite satisfactory and I will continue to use it in carrying out one of my work in editing videos in the hospital.
Pros:
The video editing software is quite user friendly. I used the video editing software from the previous versions for quite a while and was quite satisfied, even recommending it to some of my friends. But that doesn't mean there are no flaws. I still have discomfort in some ways as well.
Cons:
The shortcomings that I experienced and this means a lot if there is an improvement in the following version. The downside is that I can't choose multiple video scenes at once to filter the sound and color. This is quite a waste of time if you have to adjust it one by one, even though everything will be given the same setting. So, I really hope that there will be an update that can accommodate my proposal. thanks.
AVS Video Editor Review
Comments: I have been using this software for a while and I love it, I recommend using AVS Vidoe Editor.
Pros:
AVS Video Editor is easy to use, It didn't tack me much time to learn how to use it. I really love that I can do all my designs with minimum effort. Also, it is inexpensive and gives you a great experience.
Cons:
AVS Video Editor is a great software and the only thing that I find is that it takes a lot of time to finish one video, but it's okay because the quality of the final design deserves it.
Avs Video Editor
Pros:
The top video editing software which is super easy at creating videos as well. Super easy control and application.
Cons:
Avs can be kinda large of a file. Some hiccups at most but super auto save able.
Great Addition to the AVS Suite
Comments: I have installed the AVS on every computer I have used for over 10 years. I has been a great asset and I will continue to buy a license for any new devices I receive.
Pros:
AVS VE does a great job of taking raw footage and preparing it for publication or sharing. The ability to add clips, to remove frames to the .001 second, and to establish a storyboard are very helpful. The program learning curve is gentle, but the possibilities are endless.
Cons:
Unfortunately, I have not been able to preview from the storyboard since a recent update, though I have learned to work around that. It may be a setting I have missed.
Only editor that can edit .MOV files if you are running windows.
Comments: I've been using it for 11 years now. Love it except for the program bombing out every now and then with big projects.
Pros:
1. Accepts .MOV files where other video editor programs do not do it. 2. Wide variety of export options. 3. Makes gifs! Yay!
Cons:
1. You need an i5 CPU and up to process the videos. 2. Program bombs out if the project gets too long and big. 3. The audio fading tool is not reliable. In some cases, there will be a loud spike in the faded-out sound.
Straightforward
Pros:
I love that it’s simple and straight to the point. I upload my videos and able to merge clips, add time stamps, and save in multiple formats. It’s great for what I need it for.
Cons:
I dislike that I have to individually add the Timestamp track to each clip. If it was more like crosstrax where it automatically syncs the time and I can edit the time afterwards I would give this 100%
Save button option
Pros:
Easy to use. reliable. Editing, which I use the most, is very easy. After producing the file to m4v file is always of very good quality.
Cons:
Couldn't find an easy option to save the work periodically. Currently, to save, we have to go to file->save as, or use ctl+s. both of which are clunky options. If there is a button somewhere like on the left hand side of "split at current position" or something like that where it is easy to find and easy to save, that would make our lives a whole lot better.
Would like response from customer service
Comments: Unfortunately I encountered problems this week and reached out to customer service on the AVS Support Page. I have received no response from at all, now going on about 24 hours. I had an important meeting with prominent insurance and finance industry professionals on Monday and I want to get a good recording to them ASAP. It would be great if somebody would contact me so I can get the editor working again.
Pros:
I have used the AVS Video Editor many times over the past 2+ years. I am happy with the product as I am able to edit out opening/closing bits from virtual recordings, and internal bits. That is the primary reason I use the product.
Cons:
When I use the multi-trim to edit out internal bits, if the bit is of a very short duration it is quite difficult to visually see the timestamp bar. I typically have to use a screen magnifier to do it.
