But I would expect that. > > A previous web dev project had implemented Solr to peform search on our Drupal sites. Unfortunately it' wasn't configured well, probably because it was so complex the business didn't understand it. We just didn't have that technical maturity. As a result, Solr wasn’t working well for us and probably would have needed extensive redevelopment - it was giving us poor results that weren’t relevant and very shallow searches. Rather than try again, we cut the knot and implemented Sajari. It took 2 weeks to do and the results were immediately significantly better. The search box on our site not only returned our own products, but since it was now suddenly a regular Google search, it returned our competitors products on OUR website. Needless to say, highly unacceptable. We had to find and implement a solution fast. That's what we got with Sajari . A reasonably priced solution that we had up and running the next day. It's fast and we were able to make it work with our unique needs. Best part is that it's been working so well ever since that we never have to stop and muck with it.
