> **Pros**: The integration with AWS is perfect to simulate a real experience. With that functionality I can do a simulation in any part of the world. The performance of CloudTest is very good, it requires almost no resources, which also allows scalable tests.

> **Cons**: The price is a bit high, so I can't use the software as much as I would like. The technical support is not very good, it takes many days to solve my doubts. The installation is a bit complicated and it was not easy to integrate CloudTest into the web development team.

> To evaluate the progress of the applications we develop in the company, it's great. So we in the development team can test and show the performance of our projects. It's also great to show simulations to customers, so they can view their websites before they are 100% ready in a very short time.

> **Pros**: I have used CloudTest (previously SOASTA CloudTest now Akamai) for about 5 years. It has a steep learning curve and knowing JavaScript makes it much easier to setup robust test scripts. Once you know the basics, it has unlimited potential for what you can test and how. We reached 450000 concurrent users using over 3000 load servers provisioned on Google, Azure, Rackspace and AWS in Europe. Loading a grid like this took no more than 20-30 minutes and once it was up you could fire as many tests as you want.The best features were the detailed reporting with over 100 widgets to monitor each and every request in real-time and the possibility to analyze a web waterfall view to identify potential bottlenecks. Also, the possibility of editing the test scripts directly from the web console instead of doing local edits and uploading the scripts saves you a lot of time.

> **Cons**: If you don't know JavaScript, it will be very difficult to create a robust test script. Although the platform provides very detailed documentation, some advanced settings like user-agent detection and conditional testing were possible only via js scripting. Also, for test running over 10 minutes the 1 second granularity shown on all graphic widgets is no longer available (but all the data is still available second-by-second if you zoom in).

> Overall, Akamai CloudTest (formerly SOASTA CloudTest) is the best performance testing platform we have ever used, satisfying our needs for up to 450000 virtual users.
