Google MEETS our Expectations

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: This product has come along since its inception. It is now a viable alternative to a basic Zoom meeting experience. It does have a ways to go to be the decidedly chosen platform. But for FREE, it can NOT be beat! A start-up entrepreneurial dream.

Pros:

It is inexpensive and easily able to access for scheduling and changing meetings.

Cons:

The user experience is lacking other similar products--especially in the conferencing/webinar arena.

Comments: This is always my go-to to schedule meetings with everyone!

Pros:

Integration to email which majority of the people I communicate with use gmail making it the best means for communicating with colleagues, employees, partners and almost anyone anywhere with access to gmail.

Google Meet Video Conference Successful

5.0 last year

Comments: Google Meet is the best product for video conferencing, it is reliable, with a user-friendly interface, with valuable tools for uploading documents and multimedia. It allows us to communicate with the group we need remotely from anywhere and with excellent quality. I highly recommend it. Five stars.

Pros:

It is a fantastic tool for video conferences with our study groups, family or business groups. From anywhere and in a very simple way in the scheduling of meetings. It is fast, intuitive, friendly and beautiful interface.

Cons:

The only thing that the creators of the software can improve, is the loading time of the videos in the presentations, since; in some moments it slows down or loads in a time more than the estimated. Otherwise I haven't had any problems.

Why you have to use Google meet

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

What I like most about Google Meet is its seamless integration with other Google services, making it incredibly convenient for users who are already familiar with the Google ecosystem. The intuitive interface, comprehensive meeting management features, and accessibility options also contribute to its appeal. Plus, it's reliable and scalable, accommodating both small team meetings and larger conferences with ease.

Cons:

One drawback of Google Meet is its limited support for certain advanced features compared to other video conferencing platforms. For example, some users may find the lack of virtual backgrounds or interactive features like polls or whiteboards a bit limiting. Additionally, the quality of video and audio can sometimes fluctuate depending on internet connection stability, although this is a common challenge across all video conferencing platforms.

It also doesn't require any subscription to buy the time. It can run for hours. My boyfriend and I tried staying up on it for almost a day and the meeting does not close.

Comments: Great experience
Simple, Clean UI
The platform's versatility across devices and operating systems ensures a hassle-free experience.

Pros:

I had a fantastic experience with Google Meet because of it's audio and video quality. We can do meetings with hundreds of participants, and easily present slides and other information during the meeting by selecting the “share screen” button.

Cons:

It can't record meetings in the cloud, which is an extremely useful feature to have. It doesn't have host rights to change the settings of the meetings. White board problem:: we have to use jam board

Collaboration Made Easy with Google Meet

5.0 12 months ago

Pros:

I really like Google Meet for its simplicity and effectiveness. The video calls are clear, and it's easy to set up meetings or join them with just a link. The screen sharing feature is handy for presentations or collaboration, and the real-time chat makes communication during meetings seamless. It's user-friendly and reliable, making virtual meetings straightforward and efficient. Overall, Google Meet is a great tool for staying connected and collaborating with others online.

Cons:

One potential drawback of Google Meet is that some advanced features, like breakout rooms, are available only in the premium version. Additionally, the interface may feel a bit basic compared to some other video conferencing tools. While it's straightforward, some users might prefer more customization options. Overall, these are minor points, and Google Meet remains a reliable and user-friendly platform for virtual meetings.

My Experience with google meet

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: When creating quick meeting or sharing presentation I choose google meet and its feature like audio visualizer on mic icon, when some is speaking so it visualizer help me to know who is speaking

Pros:

Overall google meet platform is Excellent the key feature in general use like 1. create a new meeting and 2. Enter a code or link this two features are most Remarkable in terms of UI Together with the click pop up which has options of 1. Create a meeting for later, 2. Start an instant meeting, and 3. Schedule in google calendar it Sets apart from others google meet on top of others also One more thing, when the meeting starts, a popup will appear on the left hand bottom side where there is an option to share the link of the meeting. This function makes it easy to share the links And changing layouts can be considered good feature when the number of people sharing idea is high

Cons:

The least about google meet is there UI When screen shared and view from others people side the corner of the screen make the screen appear smaller, whereas in other meeting platforms the screen ratio is complete. In google meet the screen size appears smaller due to rounded corners

Easy and complete tool

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Google Meet is the communication tool included in the Google framework. It is included both in free Google accounts (with some limitations) and in all Google Workspace levels. We use the first, basic workspace level and are quite happy with it.
You can:
- set a meeting
- schedule a meeting, even directly from Google Calendar
- add people to the meeting and automatically send invitations by mail
You can use Meet in a browser, but there are also apps for mobile devices.
The only limitation I am aware of is the one hour duration of sessions set with a free account.
In a way: with Meet you can do anything you think you could do with a communication tool, but you can do it in an easy but complete way.

Pros:

Very easy to use Integrated in the Google framework Neat and essential Useable on all devices and on browsers

Cons:

Some limitations in the free version (sessions cannot lasta more than one hour)

Personal Opinion on Google Meet

5.0 last year

Pros:

I love the structure of the software, from being able to share the screen, high quality audio/video streaming and being able to manage attendees of any meeting.

Cons:

I don't like that it has some restrictions when it comes to screen sharing and one isn't able to make notes about their presentation.
