> **Pros**: NoteTab is easy to use. The software effective and still light and loads fast. You don't neet to worry about it crashing or going off. The consistency of the developers to make the software the best over the years is amazing. You don't need to worry about losing your money if you wish to move from the lite version to Pro.

> **Cons**: It is hard to find a fault with this software as the developers usually ensure they work on complains made by users. But it will be cool if developers can work on adding some more language options

> **Pros**: I primarily use Notetab as a simple text editor. I enjoy the convenience of undo/redo and multiple tabs. Notetab also comes with powerful functionality (in the form of programmable Clip commands). I have had no need to write Clip code myself but I make use of the built in utilities. Features I find most useful include the ability to compare two files, evaluating mathematical expressions within a file, and the powerful Regular Expression search functionality.

> **Cons**: I've never turned to Notetab with a task and been disappointed.For all the years that I have used Notetab, I've never had a need to purchase the pro version. The biggest disadvantage of this, for me, is not having multiple-level undo/redo functionality. If this ever proved to be problematic, the one-off purchase price of Pro is a fairly painless solution.

> Notetab is one of my favourite pieces of software and typically the first thing I install on a new computer. It has yet to let me down (unless I count situations when I turn to use it on a machine on which it isn't installed and get mightily frustrated using an alternative).

> **Pros**: There are 3 different Notetab versions: Pro, Standard and Light and depending on what you need, you can choose between those. Light is free and has the basic features for text editing and most features for web development. I find standards and pro much better as I like the real time word count, outline creation, thesaurus and spell checker.

> **Cons**: The light version is too simple and basic for text editing, much better for web development which is not what I was looking for. But it makes sense as light is free.

> Positive, downloading the program is simple and fuss free.
