A set of features like unit/lease report builders help us filter tenants and find strategies for rate increases. To keep this short I'll most of the features are very useful and make managing a storage business easy. > > **Cons**: First and foremost, I find the discount menu to be cluttered. Perhaps, discounts that are not currently being advertised or have been expired could be moved to a “discontinued” tab, preventing them from appearing in the discount menu or on the website. A Notification Center could also be beneficial. For instance, similar to how we receive emails for locked-out accounts that have been paid, it would be great to have a dedicated space for those notifications on the CCstorage app. It would be great if, when making a bulk rate change, we could print out a notice for anyone who doesn’t have an email address on file. Sometimes, if a tenant is paid in advance, the verbiage on text notifications can be confusing. When they read it, they might think they owe a certain amount of money. However, they may not read the second half of the message that provides their balance. Instead of simply stating the amount of the new invoice, it would be better to send a notice that a new invoice has been created. I understand that this may not be a problem for all tenants, but I believe it’s important for them to read the entire text message before contacting us. Ultimately, I think this is a matter of tenant responsibility, but I thought I’d include it in my review. > > Overall, CCstorage is an easy-to-use software with no bugs that I’ve encountered. The customer support has always been responsive and helpful. For us and our tenants, the value for money is excellent. Full online from start to finish unit rental the young people love this\! But for the older folks they can walk into the office and we can do a in person rental. The program was easy to use and if I couldn't figure out how to use something the knowledge base or in person support is always available. I love the activity button, it shows when they received communications from us and when it was opened so we know the customer is informed. I really like the site map feature, easy at a glance can see open units and locked units. Our customers utilize credit cards, automated bank transfers, checks and cash and the system handles all transactions with ease. > > **Cons**: I would like to have the ability to create more custom reports but I believe they are working on this. l would also like to create a custom text messages.
