ManageEngine OpManager Review

4.0 last month New

Comments: OpManager is a versatile tool with a reasonable price. It offers many tools and this helps butgets of customers as configuring only the necessary modules at that time. Their licensing is mainly based on their module selections and this ability helps customers in a good way. Additionally, they have standalone and distributed structures which is found very adaptable for the customer environments. This only makes the product is a good choice.

Pros:

The product is easy to use and covers most of the needs for infrastructure monitoring. Additionally, it has many modules which can be added like Network Configuration Manager, Netflow Analyzer, OpUtils, etc which helps network teams to get the most out of a monitoring platform. Once you're familiar with the UI (which is very short time), you begin monitoring immediately.

Cons:

OpManager is a great tool but new features comes into the product a bit slow. Additionally, application and network monitoring concepts begin to intertwine with each other today but this is a bit slow for OpManager because I believe OpManager and Applications Manager (app monitoring tool) began this journey separately and now they're being merged in a manner of time. It's not bad but it can better.

Alarm notification:- I receive real-time notification like alarms. 4.Chat Support :- I chat to support anytime is a great way to resolve issues quickly.

Opmanager is the easiest way to get a good insight in your systems and network for a fair price

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: For an acceptable price and easy to understand licensing (not like MS) you get a lot of functionality. If something is not working or not clear you just make a support ticket and most of the time they just call you, and using remote control they guide you through the process of configuration/setup. If some bug is detected or feature should be changed there is a Service Pack launched within days ! Just the best support organisation I ever contacted ...!

Pros:

The intuitive way to use the setup of devices and alerting for specific alarms. The Netflow plug-in is just the best to troubleshoot hick-ups on any LAN/WAN link.

Cons:

The rewriting/redesign of version 12 took some time to get used and to find again my way in the features/menus.
