Pros:

Sync with Quickbooks Desktop. Ease of sending invoices and paying vendors.

Cons:

Occasional sync issues with QB, was able to manage with lengthy support from QB.

Bill.com IS a gamechanger for us

Comments: BIll has helped us out tremendously. We have over 1000 vendor accounts since we order a ton of internet services for our customers. Since ATT/Spectrum/Frontier/etc etc did not allow direct deposit, our company was forced to send checks to make our payments. We could not do Credit card as the reconciliation can be messy. We have saved so much money on late fees. We are truly grateful for BILL and cant wait for the new features.

Pros:

The thing we loved most about bill is the inbox for our bills as well as our payments going straight to our vendors.

Cons:

A dark mode for BIll.com would be great. There are times where the inbox is not up to date. When 2 people are entering bills, there is a high chance there will be duplicates being entered.

Comments: I am extremely disappointed with Bill.com’s service. The process of verifying my account has been unnecessarily complex, frustrating, and riddled with delays. Despite submitting multiple identification documents (including my driver’s license, utility bill, and bank statement), they insisted on a selfie holding my ID—something I’ve never encountered even when opening bank accounts. This experience was reminiscent of dealing with a crypto scam company rather than a legitimate financial service provider. The delays in receiving my payment, the constant requests for more documentation, and the lack of transparency in their verification process left me with serious concerns about their credibility. Even after all my submissions, I was told that further delays would occur, taking several more business days. I’ve worked with major financial institutions, and they handle similar processes in a fraction of the time. Bill.com’s overly complex verification requirements and poor communication have severely impacted my trust in their service. Once I receive my payment, I will be canceling my account and ensuring my data is securely removed from their systems. I would not recommend Bill.com to anyone who values efficient, straightforward, and transparent financial service.

Pros:

Nothing,.. The live agent was polite and tried to be helpful despite the frustrating verification process.

Cons:

The verification process was overly complex, with constant requests for documentation and significant delays, making it extremely difficult to receive payments efficiently.

Comments: In the beginning it wasn’t user friendly but now I have become proficient.

Pros:

Invoicing template is good. It saves all my previous entries.

Cons:

2 factor authentication as the number entered is of the company owner. Being an accountant I face a lot of difficulty when I have to ask him about the code he receives on his phone. He gets annoyed on this.

Pros:

There is an option for them to email the customer to let them know you have received the invoice.

Cons:

The emails come from "Bill" which some customers then assume it is spam. I think it should reference accounting in their title.

Bill is the real deal

Pros:

The Bill software is user friendly and set up took only a few minutes. I like that my business has the options of either paying by ach or credit card. In addition to processing payments, one can also send invoices.

Cons:

This is not a complaint. The first couple of payments make take a couple of days to process, simply as a fraud prevention measure. After that though, payments are almost instant.

Comments: I am an employee and use this to help the finance team. Before using BILL we would have to hand receipts and purchase orders directly to someone in finance. It was inefficient and many employees would forget. Now i can do it at the time of purchase.

Pros:

It is so easy for employees to use and upload their receipts.

There isn't anything I do not like. I like everything about it.

Comments: I was not very happy. It was a bit overpriced and they were not receptive at all in helping me or negotiating.

Pros:

This product was easy to use and utilize.

Cons:

The pricing was the thing I liked least. The product seemed pretty high for the volume we did. We changed to melio. I also had to provide an accountants dashboard at $50 a month for my clients to get their product. Their product was still usually 70-80 a month. We switched to melio and pay less than $20 a month.

Pros:

- We use BILL(Bill.com) for processing and payment of invoices and to manage vendors. - We are able to use Bill.com provide timely payments and managing vendors. - AI recognitions of invoices is useful- Easy to enter bills, track bills and apply payment to bills which are already paid.- Availability of reports.- Availability of payment methods like Check and E-payment for US vendors and Wire for international vendors.

Cons:

- Sometimes facing issues with connecting vendors to E-payment or Wire payment.- Tech support is only available by chat.- Sync errors should give more detail on what's causing the issue- There are no issues apart from above, if i encounter any issues in future i can edit this review.

How I Use Bill.com

Comments: I think it's very useful, easy, well-structured, and allows users of varying levels the appropriate views. Our [sensitive content hidden] and our accountants use it much differently than I do, but we all get exactly what we need from it. I think that's what makes bill.com a great tool.

Pros:

I like how it's a complex platform, but my tasks are bare bones and basic and I can navigate to information a variety of different ways and get answers. You can be a low level user and still see the information you need, without having to go down a bunch of rabbit holes. It's forensic and basic at the same time.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I don't like about this platform.

Pros:

It is eazy to payments. But sometimes bill.com can do something strange and expensive for clients.

Cons:

I used payments in dollars. But suddenly, bill.com decided to switch it to AED, just because they decided it is better for recipient (who use USD account). So bill.com converted USD to AED (it costs 2.5% - too much), and transferred it to USD acc!

Bill makes it easy to receive ACH payments from clients

Comments: Overall, Bill is a smooth, fast, and easy way to receive payments from clients paying via ACH.

Pros:

Bill is a low-friction way of receiving payments for invoices. Even though I do not invoice through Bill, many of my clients use it to provide ACH payment, and this is quick and easy for all parties.

Cons:

At first, I did not really understand what Bill was, as I was asked to join because a client wanted to use it to pay me. I have received multiple phone calls from Bill asking me for more information about my business, and I have declined, as I have no desire to add more features or upgrade my account because I am currently content with the way it works now.

Comments: Works great and seamlessly MOST of the the time. Helps to manage accounting and bill payments and seems to be a great time saver that streamlines processes. I enjoy getting paid faster and love having a process I can track along the way.

Pros:

My experience with Bill is as an end-user only. I like the ability to create invoices for clients that utilize them for bill payment/accounting. Entering invoices is a simple process and I like that you are able to view and track your payment requests once submitted. The ability to filter invoices is also easy and you don’t have to learn more than you need to depending on which service/feature you use. I don’t use to process payments but as an accounts receivable option, it works great for me and allows me to get paid even faster. The processing fees are reasonable and expedited payments processing is an option that is also reasonable.

Cons:

While my experience is limited as an end-user, there have been a few times where my payment requests were not received or were duplicated. Not numerous but when it comes to payment, having it delayed for another reason is longer than most would want. The companies I know that utilize the full suite of offerings seem to be pleased and have used it long term with success.

Getting our money on time

Pros:

Some clients pay our invoices through Bill and it's so easy, Set up took a minute but after that, it's completely, well, non complicated. Like a good flight, when someone asks you about your flight you say "uh, it was fine.' because everything went as expected. Bill is the same.

Cons:

Sometimes on high use days the interface is not as lightning fast as it is on other days.

Easy to make an invoice or upload your own on bill.com, plus lots of useful payment updates

Pros:

As a consultant, I love being able to upload my own PDF invoice to bill.com, which then extracts the core information my client needs to see and presents it in a packaged, clear way, while also retaining the PDF of the more detailed invoice in my custom, branded format. I appreciate bill.com's notification emails when payment has been approved (especially since it includes an estimated payment date) and then when it has been sent to my bank account.

Cons:

It's great that bill.com has advanced security, but I do end up resetting my password all the time since I switch between a lot of different devices, locations and IP addresses.
