I used it a lot during my school days and it was very easy to learn because of how intuitive it is. > > **Cons**: In the past, the program used to freeze a lot. At the beginning, it wasn't designed for low-performance computers, especially those in public schools, so I always had to use my personal PC to create the animations with minimal lag. > > During my school years, Animaker helped me a lot with creating 2D projects, thanks to its intuitive and easy-to-learn interface. It is possible to make great videos with just a few hours of exploring the website. ----- ### "Great tool if you have some patience\!" — 3.0/5 > **Verified Reviewer** | *9 April 2025* | Banking | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10 > > **Pros**: It's fun and easy to use. It creates something cool and unique and they have a lot of good and free features that you can incorporate. > > **Cons**: It's super glitchy and scenes just start disappearing all of a sudden. I had to contact their tech support to get some deleted scenes back and it took them a day and a half to do so. I also didn't like not being able to add links into my video. > > I really wanted to fall in love with this tool but it's super glitchy and I kept having to pay to upgrade. Their chat and tech support is very responsive but I think this tool has a long way to go. ----- ### "Great site for teachers that want a little extra\!" — 5.0/5 > **Ashley** | *9 November 2025* | Education Management | Recommendation rating: 3.0/10 > > **Pros**: I love that when I use Animaker in the free version I can make three 2 minutes (or less) videos each month to share with my kids and students. I love to do this for whatever our topic or virtue of the month is. You can choose to pay the $20 a month and get the basic plan and that has a lot more features available and you can make way more customized videos that are longer to cover each of your class rules, new concepts, and just fun ideas for the month. > > **Cons**: The free version only gives you three downloads a month on your video needs to be two minutes or less. > > I loved it. I think they have made it super easy and user friendly and my kiddos love the simplicity of the videos they’re not overly stimulating in the free and basic version and they honestly didn’t take very much time to put together because Lord knows as a teacher of 24 first graders. I do not have a ton of time to get everything done while my kids are at special. ----- ### "Very responsive company, willing to listen and who want you to succeed." — 5.0/5 > **Steve** | *11 October 2024* | Management Consulting | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: Very comprehensive platform. As an enterprise client we can use a lot of their different tools that integrate with each other. > > **Cons**: Sometimes the interface has little issues, but the support team is very responsive and addresses them quickly. > > Overall, very positive. The individuals that work there are very responsive and willing to hear suggestions and comments. ----- ### "Frustrating Experience with Animaker" — 1.0/5 > **ayub** | *12 December 2024* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: Honestly, there's not much to like about Animaker when the basic functionality is so unreliable. Even if the features seem promising on paper, they’re overshadowed by constant lagging and crashes. It's hard to appreciate anything when you're stuck refreshing the app and losing progress repeatedly. > > **Cons**: I had high hopes for Animaker, but it’s been nothing short of a frustrating experience. The app constantly lags, making it almost impossible to get anything done. Every time I try to create or edit something, it freezes, forcing me to refresh the page and start all over again. It’s incredibly time-consuming and unproductive, especially when you’re in the middle of a project. The lagging issue has been persistent, and it seems like there’s no fix in sight. For an app that's supposed to make animation easier, it’s doing the complete opposite. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you enjoy wasting time and pulling your hair out.
