Excellent end-to-end cloud solutions that come at a cost

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Pros:

There is a wide variety of components, ranging from Infrastructure as a Sevice (IaaS) to Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). You can get a project or a pilot up and running in minutes, with everything you need, in a modular way. The services I find more useful (apart virtual machines) are Application Insights and Docker Image Registries, two components that tipically take a lot of effort to set up on premises.

Cons:

Unfortunately if you have Azure bulk credits because you participate in some Microsoft programs, there is currently no way to set budget alerts or thresholds, so you must keep an eye on usage. Also, OpenAI costs are still high compared to competition.

Seamless, Secure, and Reliable Solutions

Comments: Azure provides a user-friendly, secure, and dependable platform that meets all requirements and more. However, frequent updates, changes, and resource movements within Azure can be disruptive, suggesting areas where smoother transitions could improve the overall user experience.

Pros:

Everything you need and more , easy to use. Safe and reliable

Cons:

Too many changes all the time, and things they keep moving or relocating constantly.

A necessary tool that can open up your account management and network management from anywhere

4.0 4 months ago

Comments: It is is robust directory services that gets its strength from being in the cloud and not tied to internal servers or connections. It is a industry standard user management solutions that allows us to run account lifecycles and connect with other software and programs.

Pros:

One of its greatest strengths is that it is universally used and able to connect and be used with almost all software and programs out there.

Cons:

Maybe the biggest con is that Microsoft products are not always the easiest to configure for special circumstances and Azure would fall into this category sometimes.

Azure-All your needs in one place

5.0 last week New

Comments: The Overall experience I would say was good and it has all the features from DevOps , database management to cloud storage that you would need as a software developer but it just takes sometime to learn all the features and to get used to using them.

Pros:

The thing I like most using Microsoft Azure is that it offers databases like SQL and also the DevOps features are great and helps a lot while building websites and apps.

Cons:

The thing I like least is that sometimes the services are slow and there are outages sometimes which lead to downtime

Exploring Azure: Strengths and Challenges in Enterprise Cloud Computing

4.0 last month New

Comments: My overall experience using Azure has been outstanding. with Pros outweighing the cons. My favourite aspect of the product being Scalability and Flexibility.

Pros:

I have used Microsoft Azure for several years, and its prowess has always left me impressed. The ease of managing variable workloads successfully and be able to scale resources up or down as necessary, the platform has changed things significantly by being just that; -scalable and flexible. It also supports a hybrid cloud, thus integrates well with our on-premises systems. The compatibility maintains operational consistency. Azure has a broad array of other services, Such as AI, ML, and analytics, that helps us to innovate and stay ahead in such a competitive market of Banking and Finance. It Integration with Microsoft’s ecosystem such Office 365 and this has significantly boosted our team’s productivity. The global infrastructure of the platform ensures low latency at all times. Also it helps us meet Compliance, this is because of Microsoft's continuous focus on Security and Regulatory Standards in making Azure a much more trusted choice.

Cons:

One thing I dislike about Azure is it's costing complexity. Scalability is readily available and if it is misused, you might end up accruing unexpected costs that go over your enterprise infrastructure budgets.

Best of Breed Cloud Service Provider in the Region

5.0 last month New

Comments: It's a world of extended solutions. We have not encountered a case that has no option throughout the Azure. It's a reliable service, we have not experienced any significant downtime throughout the services. Gui is superb fast. Copilot enhancements streamline our management and operations as well as increasing our visibility. Powershell and bash usage is like a Swiss knife, as my team have already deploying operations through the scripts. Templates are straightforward. The Azure marketplace shines in quality, ARM templates are uptodate and detailed steps included. Our devops team love the Azure environment as for the AKS and github usage.

Pros:

Dedicated Microsoft Project Team including cloud solutions architects for Azure Projects. Migration from on premise to Azure CSP is professional oriented not only includes just the overall migration plan; It covers all perspectives like compliance , governance and infra recommendations. The most highlighted element is the blueprint workshops that provide a total view of all the aspects of a transition. EA agreement covers clouds items as well as on premise environment. Azure AD/Entra is functioning perfectly and it's a smooth connectivity with on premise DCs through Azure AD Connect. Office 365 is already included in the general service options. Secure score is a real game changer in terms of metrics and fwups.

Cons:

It's not the least cost effective CSP provider. There are hidden costs in the environment that we can not find out what they are. There are also ghost costs. Every item is a cost in the CSP. Free services are frequently converted to a paid service model. Another issue in Azure, it has all the solutions inside however they are not the best or breed compared to other.

Literally the best platform for new e-commerce businesses!

4.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: We are currently working on offering customized shopping experience to our customers and microsoft azure's scalable features are of a lot of help. The risk management it offers has helped us cut on a lot of downsides for our business. Azure's back up is a saviour and it has helped us overcome many surver failures initially.

Pros:

The one thing I like the most about this platform is that it is extremely cost effective. They offer trials for their tools and have tangible pricing for all kinds of e-commerce businesses. The tools are versatile but at the same time they are user-friendly for beginners making it very easy to grab its working. The tools are exceptionally easy to navigate and implement. This saves me a lot of time since an e-commerce business with a small team is takes a lot of time and effort to upscale. They are very quick in providing resolution so beginners can frequently use it to look up for help. The platform is integrated with almost every useful platfrom so data storing and streamlining becomes very easy.

Cons:

Genuinely speaking I'm new in the e-commerce field and this application has only made my work a lot more easier so at this moment I don't have any criticism to offer.

Microsoft azure real cost saver.

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: Oral experience with Azure is good, primary benefit we get as over the cost as well as reducing the management headache. No physical data centre is required now to run the IT operations.

Pros:

What a great solution. Getting free from the headache maintaining on premises infrastructure and managing it is now possible with Microsoft azure and that will help IT team. To focus purely on business demands. We as a company use at for running business applications and that really help us to save good amount of cost and deliver services to end users with good cost efficiency.

Cons:

Nothing as such observed. They should had support chatbot for day to day queries.

Pros and Cons of Microsoft Azure

4.0 7 months ago

Comments: It offers many services from storage to AI solutions which have proven powerful for my development projects, especially with its seamless integration with other Microsoft tools. However, my initial learning curve was challenging due to its vast services and pricing structures. Their security is a plus but their support channels feel bureaucratic at times.

Pros:

If you're a developer who loves all things Microsoft, Azure feels familiar and much easier to start working on projects. It's secure, has everything you need to build, and lets you grow your projects as big (or small) as you need.

Cons:

Azure's range of services can feel overwhelming for beginners, with a bit of a learning curve to navigate all the features and their pricing structures.

Powerful Cloud Platform, Best for Those with Advanced Skills

4.0 3 months ago

Pros:

What I like most about Microsoft Azure is its ease of use and intuitive UI. Navigating through Azure's portal feels seamless, with everything well-organized and easily accessible, whether I'm on a desktop, tablet, or even a mobile device. The centralized dashboard makes managing resources simple, even across multiple projects. Azure also shines in providing actionable recommendations for optimizing performance, especially for web applications and databases. Its built-in analytics and insights tools are invaluable for pinpointing areas to enhance speed, efficiency, and overall user experience. When it comes to storage, Azure is robust and versatile, offering a range of scalable options that integrate smoothly with other services. Overall, Azure delivers a comprehensive, user-friendly experience that empowers me to manage, optimize, and scale my resources with confidence.

Cons:

Azure’s cost structure confusing and challenging to manage, which can make it difficult to budget or anticipate expenses accurately. Also, while Azure’s hybrid cloud capabilities are powerful, setting them up is complex and often requires significant expertise

Inclusive Cloud Platform

5.0 last year

Comments: Microsoft Azure provides the perfect environment to design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor advanced analytics workloads on the cloud. We use Azure for data warehousing, Pipelines, and machine learning to extract and process data from various sources. The SQL-managed services handle infrastructure and resource allocation to simplify the provisioning process and help us focus our team effort on workflow optimization, solution improvements, and project goals. Azure Cloud is a Collaborative and inclusive development environment with an easy-to-navigate user interface and has efficient billing and cost management tools that help us better our teamwork.

Pros:

Microsoft Azure provides reliable cloud storage, computing, networking, infrastructure, resources, and tools for solution development and deployment. The analytical services and SQL solutions are fast and integrate seamlessly with on-premises SQL Server systems. The platform is secure, easy to implement, and continuously adds new features and advanced AI capabilities. The customer support is friendly and responsive. Also, Azure has an extensive learning platform and solution architecture center to help developers design and optimize better cloud solutions.

Cons:

Azure continuously adding new features is critical for success, but it is a bit overwhelming and requires continuous learning to keep up with the latest updates.

Great if you're already using .NET/ Good for everyone else.

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: I've been working professionaly with Azure for about 6 years with 2 years off using Cloudfoundry. Azure is far better than Cloudfoundry. And if you are already building with microsoft tech like .NET and C#, Azure is a very natural extension into the cloud.

Pros:

If you are already a programmer using the Microsoft software ecosystem, Azure is the cloud for you.

Cons:

The pricing can be a bit expensive. There are a number of free services and if you don't need to scale up a lot you can probably accomplish a lot on the Azure cloud for free.
