Flexible & User friendly CMMS

Comments: MaintMaster gives us a good overview of the maintenace activities and cost on our assets and saves time in the everyday administration.

Pros:

MaintMaster is a very flexible and user friendly Maintenance system. Its easy to setup and configure to your specific needs and the possibilty to create your own selections/filters is very powerful. The fact that all configuration can be done by yourself makes it cost effective and shortens lead times. It's fast and easy to create, plan and report jobs in the system. Good functionality to upload images to jobs, assets,persons and items and also create navigation to assets in the images. The search functionality is outstanding with dynamic result filtering. With MaintMaster we have been able to visualize the performace in realtime fully automated which saves us the time we previously used to manually update scorecards and KPI's MaintMaster has a reasonable price compared to other CMMS with similar functionality

Cons:

some useful functionality is missing in the mobile app. Would have been nice to be able to upload documents(pdf's) directly in the system.

MaintMaster Review

Comments: So far we have had a positive experience with MaintMaster, as a new user the training and technical support has been excellent.

Pros:

Ease of use and flexibility of the system allows us to tailor it to suit our needs.

Cons:

We have only started using MaintMaster and so far I would not say I found any features which have been difficult to understand or use.

Maintmaster

Comments: We will have a better preventive maintenance.

Pros:

Maintmaster is easy to use for all, from normaly user in the daily production to the admins. It's easy to make new tasks and easy to follow up whta have been done.

Cons:

Sometimes I don't find what I need with the searchfunction

Maintmaster CMMS

Comments: Probably the most user friendly CMMS system i have encountered and that includes Maximo, SAP, AMOS, Workmate, RAST and others. Ok you may not get all the bells and whistles that you would from the larger systems but you also don't get the massive costs and the difficulty managing them and there is no need to be a SQL guru to get what you need to and from the system. Easy.
Support has also been outstanding and was certainly a factor in choosing the package.

Pros:

Having the ability to customize and add fields is a game changer and allows us to operate how we want to operate. No more banging heads on the desk when wondering what fields need to be populated in Maximo or SAP in order to get a work order closed. These added fields can also then be used to create KPIs and reports that are relevant to what we do.

Cons:

My one main concern would be the handling of routes/rounds as this tends to mean work order history is recorded against a PM and not at Asset level. Having said that i believe this is being looked at for the next release.

Powerful, customizable and user frienly CMMS

Comments: MaintMaster is very user friendly, powerful and easy to adapt to your organization.
MaintMaster has a well organized user training dep. and people with good knowledge/experience in maintenance management and can therefore assist in coaching your maintenance team/org.
This, and all written in pros above, are very important criterias in the continous work of striving for a more efficient maintenance organization.

Pros:

- The dynamic search fuctionallities are world class compared to all the other CMMS i've tried! - Easy to navigate and to find functions/menus/tools thanks to a intuitive logical UI, shortcut functionalities and visual aspects like icons, colors etc. - Fast and easy job creating and job reporting. - Minimized need of traditional print reporting because most things can be easily/fast viewed directly in the system. - Almost everything can be setup, imported and configured by yourself, which minimizes the need of expensive consulting fees. - Notifications by mail on events. - Easy to attach and view pictures on assets/objects, parts, jobs etc directly via mobile app or desktop. - Good admin functionallities and easy setup for categories, types, roles, permissions, groups etc.

Cons:

The mobile app does not support adding parts to a job or to edit custom properties, but according to MaintMaster, it will be implemented in next release in a couple of months.

Nice system

Comments: A very good system that is easy to use and learn. With this system the maintenance will be better and more reliable. The history is saved for easy backtracking of problems.Love the Inspector and its function.

Pros:

It is easy to use and you can do some changes to adapt the system to your own organisation.

Cons:

I haven't used the system for a while so i can't answer this right now.

Pros:

Very easy to modify to our own needs. usable in many different sections in maintenance

adding pictures could be easier. its the most important feature so i should always ask if you want to add a picture

Comments: Going from maintenance d paperwork based system into digital system with statistics

Pros:

Easy to work with. But you must have the time to develop it.

Cons:

Nothing really. If I only can have more time to sit down and work with it.

One happy Maintmaster user

Comments: Not really started full scale operation yet so hard to say but expectations are high. WIthout rating I would say most important is to have Maintmaster support in cost control, finding areas to approve reliability, securing that inspections are done in time.

Pros:

Quite easy to setup and adapt to your needs. Mostly easy to use export-import feature.

Cons:

Very annoying with the limitations on one time zone and one currency. Although the system is very agile there are some limitations stopping Maintmaster from being the perfect tool. It's somewhat complicated to configure users and groups of users with permissions, roles, groups, category and top site objects. And even though there are so many different "boxes" a user needs to belong to it's not possible to belong to more than one which limits the flexibility a lot! Another strange thing is that Maintmaster can handle documents but it can't handle pdf-files which must be the most common document these days when it comes to sharing information. Five stars for adding this feature!The mobile app is very easy to use but the startpage should be configurable. Also add the Site explorer (including images in object cards) to the mobile app.

Use of Maint Master in a production plant with 250 employees

Comments: Today we are using Maint Master for the daily maintanence activities, but also to follow up health and safety (accidents, near misses). Continuos improvements are also implemented in the software.

Pros:

Maint Master is really user friendly and can easily be adapted to suit your needs. By following the ISO standard recommended by Maint Master, it is easy to understand and summarise the data into diagrams.

Cons:

Today it is quite difficult to change the design and content of the printing preferences. To make the planning easier I would like some kind of overview to see the planned activities for the team.

Value for money, comprehensive and intuitive.

Comments: We can now fully manage our preventive maintenance in a proactive way, moving away from our previous ad-hoc paper-based system. We've just about eliminated the risk of legal non-compliance and the breakdown rate will certainly be reduced.
We can also report on resources required, stock levels and closure of actions.
In addition, we're using the system to report hazards and near misses.

Pros:

It's very reasonably priced, and MaintMaster are very transparent on that - unlike competitors, like Shires Piranha. It's relatively intuitive (even for someone as techno-challenged as me!) and far easier to set up and use than other systems we explored. It is already proving invaluable in our asset management and statutory regulatory compliance. It facilitates all machine users to quickly report issues and to follow through to conclusion.

Cons:

Honestly can't think of anything! Maybe over time we may identify something, but I haven't yet.

Great support and System

Comments: great return with small effort

easy and clear to access for engineers and machine operators and great access to the information

we are deploying the system and it looks great at the moment, probably it is what I like less.

MaintMaster - Platform with focus on maintenance

Comments: A good partner that helps us getting better regarding maintenance . They listen and trys to improve ther product to meet our requirements.

Pros:

Easy to use. Easy to sync with our processes for maintenance. The MaintMaster staff knows maintenance not just the product MaintMaster. Good support, quick respons if needed

Cons:

Its hard to get a overview. In large organizations its vital to be enabel to visualize plans for day, week and year. MaintMaster do not have any solutions yet that meets our requirements.

Nice system

Comments: I like the system alot and we have used in since Tekkla so we been in this for long and now we are into using it much more and also in all our facilities

Pros:

I like it due to it is easy to get an overview in a pretty easy way. Some start training and then you are almost done. Good that it can be useful for many things even for handling issues not only related to MaintenanceThe customer support is on a really high level but from support desk, sales representative and projcet lead . Good that we can use the same program in all the countries we are active in.

Cons:

I would like to have some more possibilities to make the system more visual by using more colours and fons to be able to highlight things that are important.It would have been really goos if there where genreal instructions available so we dont need to create them ourself

MantMaster

Comments: Overall this is the best CMMS i've ever worked with, it allows us to make it suit our needs and processes with ease.

Pros:

Great program that makes it easy to take control of your maintenance and spare parts.

Cons:

The phone app is in need of more functionality, and some of the plugins are not fully functional.

Top solution for preventiv maintenance and asset control

Comments: I have worked in a number of different maintenance programs and I have to say that MaintMaster is by far the best program to date. It is easy to get started and it creates clear and easy-to-understand views. The program also allows you to make many adjustments so that it suits your business instead of having to adapt the business to the program.

Pros:

It's easy to build a structure and get started with preventive maintenance. Once you have built up your plant structure, it is also easy to work with work orders

Cons:

I miss a nice view for scheduled time on my resources. There are ways to see it but it could have been nicer and more educational.

A really good Maintenance System!

In the start there were some functions that I missed. But in the latest versions the development have catched up.

Comments: As i say earlier we had nothing earlier and my experience is that Maintmaster has given us a lot of benefits...

Pros:

Earlier we had nothing, and we are still after two years try to create the perfekt Maintmaster . It moves slowly forward.

Cons:

I can sometimes think that its too much choice in this program, it has almost unlimited possibilities.

Addmin

Pros:

User-friendly, build structure with images and information in a good way

Cons:

Android usage needs to be developed so it becomes more like PC as a user

Comments: I've not done the training yet (it's booked though), but after spending time on the system and getting used to the logic behind it, I'm finding it very adaptable and it's getting easier to use by the day.

Pros:

The bulk import and update functions via spreadsheet are invaluable.

Cons:

The one thing I would like to see, for those implementing the system, is an overall flowchart showing the stages of setting up the system, as this does have to be done in a particular order (i.e. putting suppliers in before you import items etc).

An helping hand.

Pros:

I like that the administration is simple and that it is easy to change the layout of object-cards for example so it fits the organistation.

Cons:

I can´t come up with anything that I don´t like.

A useful, and reliable software.

Comments: An extremely positive experience, our first CMMS and a great addition to our manufacturing process.

Pros:

The ease of use, as a company that has never had a CMMS before, it was initially daunting. But the staff helped us get to grips with everything in short time.

Cons:

There are elements that look rather dated at times.

It feels like the software is easy to use once you have learned how to do it.

DIE Instandhaltungssoftware

Comments: Digitale Planung aller Instandhaltungsprozesse

Pros:

Am besten gefällt uns die völlig freie Konfigurierbarkeit des Systems und die intuitive Bedienung.

Cons:

Klage auf hohem Niveau: Die Verwaltung von Dokumenten könnte noch besser gestaltet werden. Aktuell lassen sich nur Bilder direkt ins System laden. Andere Dateien können nur verlinkt werden.

Praxisorierntiertes Tool mit viel Potential

Comments: Alles in allem ein sehr anpassungsfähiges System mit Luft nach oben und einem Hersteller dem nicht nur auf dem Papier daran liegt besser zu werden, sondern wirklich intresse hat, zusammen das ganze zu entwickeln und den Bedürfnissen anzupassen.

Pros:

Die Einfachheit der Implementierung und der Umgang mit der Software. Die Einstell- und Nutzungsmöglichkeiten sind beinahe endlos und immer gleich aufgebaut.

Cons:

Es sind noch Prozessfinessen welche fehlen aber angedacht sind, wie z.B. das Planen der MA um einen klare Tages/Wochenstruktur zu visualisieren. Ersatzteilemanagement ist soweit i.O. die Bestellung der Artikel auch, was fehlt ist die Möglichkeit Motoren oder Anlageteile welche an 3. Firmen zur Revision gehen im Maintmaster zu verarbeiten. Das heist, für genau diese Teile Reparaturaufträge zu erstellen inkl. einem Lieferschein bzw. auch den Wareneingang dessen. So wäre die Historie komplett.
