The software can be used "out of the box", without dealing with technicalities. > > **Cons**: I can accept donations on my site with WPForms, instead of using Donorbox. WPForms are configurable and flexible. So, I no more use Donorbox. However, Donorbox is better than WPForms for connecting with past donors. > > It's an easy to use software for accepting donations. I recommend Donorbox to you, if you don't want to deal with technicalities, but want the software to work "out of the box". ----- ### "Streamlined Giving Made Easy" — 4.0/5 > **William** | *16 September 2025* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: Donorbox has been an excellent tool for my nonprofit. I really appreciate how easy it is to receive donations, whether one-time or recurring, and how smooth the process is for our supporters. Beyond that, the backend features have been a huge help—keeping track of donors, organizing giving history, and automatically generating donation receipts. These services save me time and make it simple to maintain strong communication with our supporters. Overall, Donorbox has made managing donations efficient and stress-free, and I’m grateful for how it helps us focus more on our mission. > > **Cons**: One area that could be improved is the fees associated with donations. A portion of each gift is taken out for processing, which can add up for a nonprofit like ours. In addition, the speed at which donations are processed and released—especially when working through payment partners like Stripe or PayPal—sometimes feels slower than expected. While I understand these costs and timelines are fairly standard across the industry, it would be a real benefit to see lower fees or quicker turnaround times for funds to reach our organization. > > Overall, Donorbox has been a great tool for our nonprofit. It makes receiving donations simple and provides excellent backend features like donor tracking and automated receipts. The main drawbacks are the processing fees and the slower release of funds through partners like Stripe or PayPal. Even so, it’s a reliable, effective platform that saves us time and helps us focus on our mission. ----- ### "Pretty good service" — 3.0/5 > **Sierra** | *16 September 2025* | Health, Wellness & Fitness | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10 > > **Pros**: Management and tracking was my favorite aspects. I struggled to engage in a lot of the marketing tools because it seemed too big of a lesrning curve to prioritize over the other projects I was using donorbox to support. > > **Cons**: I wanted a way to engage or understand my donors a little better. Im not exactly sure what that is, but maybe a survery when they change their donation or sign up or some kind of feedback tool. > > It is an effective way to beef up your fundraising and one of few options to let people donate to any cause they want without limitations. ----- ### "Easy to use with a lot of features" — 5.0/5 > **Francesca** | *17 September 2025* | Mental Health Care | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: It’s easy to use. I like that we’re able to set up peer fundraisers and different campaigns pretty easily, and change colors according to our branding. It was easy to setup, and allows for recurring donations. I also like the dedication section where people can write a loved one’s name or make a donation on behalf of someone else. I’ve been using it since 2017. > > **Cons**: Nothing that I can think of—everything is intuitive. I think it’s a little more expensive than Givebutter now, but after using them for 8 years, I don’t think we’ll be switching. > > We’ve been using Donorbox since 2017 and have been pretty happy with it so far. I have referred others to this service. ----- ### "Highly Recommend Donorbox" — 5.0/5 > **Rachel** | *17 September 2025* | Health, Wellness & Fitness | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: Donorbox is easy to use and implement for users and provides our donors with a great giving experience. > > **Cons**: I honestly don't have anything that I do not like about using Donorbox for our fundraising platform. > > My experience using Donorbox has been great. I like the ease of use in creating and sharing new campaigns. I like how simply our Donorbox giving page was integrated into our website, and I like the floating donate button we were able to add to our homescreen. ----- Page: 1 / 26\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.co.il/software/156860/donorbox?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.il/software/156860/donorbox) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-AR | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-CR | | | es-DO | | | es-EC | | | es-MX | | | es-PA | | | es-PE | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | it | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pl | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | | sv | | ----- ## Structured Data
