When they say the software was built by landscapers for landscapers, they mean it. From leadership team down to field crew the app and UI is beyond what the others have even come close to. Time tracking through LMN is awesome and sometimes you can seem a little clunky, but what makes it great is that every job automatically has job costing for the time which is one of the most important factors in any business especially in ours, which is very labor heavy. > > **Cons**: No software is perfect for everybody. There’s only a few few things that would be on my wish list. Automations for client follow up would be one of them and then although their job costing is pretty solid I wish there was a way to integrate this better with other third parties like Dext or have AI recognize bills etc.. because let’s be honest job costing is only as good as the information you put in. It cuts down on confusion, reduces back-and-forth communication, and helps us stay organized and efficient, especially on busy days with multiple jobs running at once. > > **Cons**: One downside I’ve found with LMN is the limitation around customer texting. While it’s helpful to be able to send SMS notifications out, the communication is mostly one-way. It would make a big difference to have true two-way texting built in, so customers could reply with questions or updates directly in the system. That kind of back-and-forth messaging would streamline communication, reduce missed calls and emails, and make customer interactions feel more responsive and convenient. > > Our overall onboarding experience with LMN was very positive. We came from not having any systems, production rates, or much of anything into LMN, and that is a struggle.
