A great MDM - Worth the move from our MS product

4.0 11 months ago

Pros:

The settings and abilities are, so far, lightyears beyond what Intune was able to do, in terms of locking down devices and making them both more manageable and more secure.

Cons:

Importing devices from one MDM to this new platform is a bit clunky and not necessarily intuitive, however their Support team, who was available by chat right on the same screen, was a huge boon and was ready with screenshots and clear directions.

Manage engine review

4.0 3 months ago

Comments: Very feature rich and works extremely well with samsung. Fast to deploy and can do some niche things with it like kiosk mode and remoting in. Not as good for IOS but still works (lacking features). Support is generally okay but could be better, lots of doing circles of trouble shooting when the problem is obvious.

Pros:

Generally works really well, does all the things it promises to do.

Cons:

IOS management could be better and more clear. This may be apples fault but still needs to be addressed.

Great Platform to Manage Devices

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall it's a very good platform for managing the devices and enrolling the new devices as well as managing policies. The mdm mobile app is also very intuitive to users.

Pros:

Very easy to use once you get used to the platform. It's well designed and well maintained. Even adding policies is very simple to use.

Cons:

Figuring out how to get started was a little time consuming. Especially how to upload apk, how to distribute the apk, etc. But once we understood, it became very easy.

Review of MDM

3.0 11 months ago

Pros:

Policies Easy to create, App Management is ok, Deprovisions easy to do, option to remove pins and reset codes, reporting was good

Cons:

cant do updates to test groups, updates were pushed to all phones, looping Auto deployment had issues with users, had to manually do every phone, Support really unhelpful always going in circles and constantly getting fed up

This is the way if you would like to manage your corporate mobile devices.

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: It has been a great tool, definitely the best, in my opinion.

Pros:

The management console is one of the best I have tried. It's way easier than Hexnode and similar to the Ninja one. They offer the same capabilities as Ninja One but at a fraction of the cost, and their performance exceeds Ninja One's. You can block almost everything you need to perform a DLP system on the mobile device; you have control of all peripherals. You can modify the behavior of applications like Outlook, Office, Teams, and Chrome, allowing you to fine-tune any restrictions that you may require. It allows you to track your devices in real-time. Distribution of applications is easy, and you can create multiple app catalogs. The price is below average. For the corporation, it was only 2.77 for each device. No minimum is required, and it's FREE if you have less than 25 devices. You can give remote support(only view) on mobile devices.

Cons:

I would like it to have a web browser content filter, but none of the tools that I tested have it. You can block a list of URLs, but that isn't the best way to do the task.

Alternatives Considered: Hexnode UEM, Esper, AirDroid Business and NinjaOne

Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus: We want the best performance at a fair price. Hexnode and NijaOne offer similar performance, but their prices are higher. Airdroid and Esper do not perform the way we needed them to.

A powerful tool

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: MDM+ has given me a powerful tool to manage our company devices that not only support IT admin but also end users in daily basis when security matter is getting more important.

Pros:

Set of tools to support IT admin in management task

Cons:

One 1 IT admin account (pay more for additional IT admin account)

Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Intune

Reasons for Choosing ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus: Price policy of them is unacceptable. Customer support is also not excellent as expectation

Switched From: IBM Security MaaS360

Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus: Customer service of MDM+ is faster than others (quotation delivery, onsite meeting... presale jobs seems good). While technical specification of others (MaaS 360 & Intune) is not enough to overcome MDM+ to reconsider

Great for our Android Devices

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Overall experience has been great. Support is quick and responsive.

Pros:

We needed something to manage Android Tablets for our school and most of it seemed relatively easy to use. Was able to figure out a lot on my own with the guides.

Cons:

I think the only thing that I found annoying was that support is located in a time zone behind me (I am in New Zealand), so when I work on a Monday, I don't get a support response until late Monday afternoon or evening.

ManageEngine MDM

4.0 last month New

Comments: The overall experience with the ManageEngine MDM was outstanding.

Pros:

The ability to remotely wipe devices that are enrolled was great.

Cons:

The requirement for a system running a MAC OS. But this is an Apple thing and not a Manage Engine requirement.

I highly recommend the ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager product for managing mobile devices

5.0 5 months ago

Pros:

Managing and controlling company-owned mobile devices through an MDM product is much easier. MDM has been very useful in office environments with high employee turnover. I always prefer technical controls over administrative controls, which is why I highly recommend the ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager product

Cons:

I didn't find anything that not helpful in MDM so far

Manage Engine Mobile Device Management (Cloud)

4.0 last year

Comments: We solved issues of missing devices, compliance, security and document control on tablets.

Pros:

We liked everything with the software, it's help us maintain our compliance and security on our tablet fleet across about 25 sites.

Cons:

There is a medium learning curve on the product, you'll need a few days with it hands on with devices to test and learn the system with.

A Solid Choice for Mobile Device Management

5.0 11 months ago

Comments: If you're searching for a reliable and effective MDM solution, I highly recommend giving ManageEngine MDM Cloud Edition a try. You won't be disappointed!

Pros:

ManageEngine MDM goes beyond the features of other MDM solutions, offering comprehensive device management, effortless app distribution, robust security, and more, all under one roof. Even non-technical users will find it a breeze to use. Whether you're managing Android, iOS, or Windows devices, ManageEngine MDM has you covered, providing seamless control across all platforms. Say goodbye to manual app installation! ManageEngine MDM lets you distribute apps automatically across any device, saving you valuable time and resources.

Cons:

While easy to use, the web console's interface could benefit from a bit of modernization. It's not a deal-breaker, but a fresh look would be nice.

Alternatives Considered: Hexnode UEM, Miradore and Microsoft Intune

Overall nice software for the cost

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: It's a great software for the price. If you are just starting with MDM solutions this might be a very good tool for you.

Pros:

I really like how doing remote actions and remote connections are easy without intruding the user's privacy

Cons:

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to deploy the agent and the MDM in new computers and can't be easily streamlined.

Couldn't find a solution to my Internet addiction without it

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Fantastic! Would highly recommend it for everyone actually.

Pros:

The thing which gave me the most peace of mind is the amount of control and administration the software provides, along with the very powerful ways it prevents the user from tampering with certain settings.

Cons:

I just wished that there was a way to schedule the usage of certain apps on the controlled devices.

MDM is the best alternative to manage multiple devices with Microsoft, iOS, Android platforms

5.0 last year

Comments: Easily accessible interface, ease of use, I have been working with this product for more than 3 years and this means something

Pros:

Easy management of the device fleet, use of the application on several devices at once, the possibility of remote user support, secure work with samsung knox, quick resolution of the issue when contacting support.

Cons:

Sometimes there are problems with installing the application with apk files (not from the Google store), the appearance of bugs in new versions when updating.
