Android app. > > **Cons**: The website is rather slow in the past 1-2 years. Folder management could definitely be better. No feasible way to export/create a complete list of my videos except request directly from customer support. > > I use it several times a week to distribute rough cuts/masters of films for internal/external viewing. ----- ### "Vimeo: Flawless Playback. Zero Compression Compromise." — 5.0/5 > **Bruno** | *7 August 2026* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: When working as a Marketing Executive Intern for Hackett \& Hackett International Group Limited, I had the opportunity to use this product. I like it for several reasons, such as the fact that it is intended to be a professional workspace and not just another tool to share and publish videos. It also offers excellent options for higher bitrate and less aggressive compression than similar products, as well as the absence of Compression Artifacts. In this regard, it is optimal for filmmakers, motion designers, and videographers who want to publish their work without any loss in quality. > > **Cons**: However, the software has some significant disadvantages, such as a lack of a Recommendation Engine and Algorithmic Distribution. Simply put, if someone wants to host a video on it, they need to promote it and drive traffic to it themselves, as there are no tools for increasing visibility apart from one’s own website and social media. Furthermore, to access essential business features, one needs to subscribe to a higher-tier plan on a monthly or yearly basis, as the lower ones only allow uploading a few videos per month. Finally, one might encounter an issue when trying to embed a lot of videos on one’s website. It may result in limiting one’s account and being forced to subscribe to a more expensive custom plan for an enterprise-level bitrate and traffic. > > Overall, I have a positive impression of the Vimeo service. It helped my team and me achieve great results in publishing our recent marketing and branding videos. Therefore, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product to others and believe it would be beneficial for a wide range of professionals. ----- ### "Fully featured, flexible solution for streaming and sharing video" — 5.0/5 > **Bob** | *25 April 2025* | Civic & Social Organization | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: It works as a media library for all our video content, a basic editor in which we can piece together our own clips with stock footage, a way to stream video to multiple platforms simultaneously (e.g. Facebook and an embed on our website) and Vimeo Livestream (a software production switcher and encoder) is all bundled for one annual licence fee. > > **Cons**: Managing very large numbers of videos is a bit difficult as only a limited number show on a page at any one time and it takes a few seconds to load the the next 25 in long lists. > > Overall Vimeo beats YouTube or other platforms for our use case. We needed somewhere to store video for internal online learning for colleagues, for customer how-to guides on our website, as a repository of social media video content and to livestream (plus automatically create a recorded library for "catch up" viewing) 25 fitness classes every week. With 7TB of storage we haven't run out yet and we've been using it for over 4 years. ----- ### "This company extorts their customers\! Run Run Run\!" — 1.0/5 > **Ryno** | *14 September 2026* | E-Learning | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: They have good products an keep innovating. Their streaming quality is very good, which is why we chose them in the first place. > > **Cons**: They engage in sneaky extortionary activities with their clients. My subscription got increased by 2900% without any warning or discussion. They just charged my account. > > I will never engage with this company again and advise any prospective clients to do the same. They are unethical and treat long standing customers with zero respect. The service is poor and they are arrogant. Rather use their competitors who offer much better value for money. ----- ### "Joe Normandin's Vimeo review" — 4.0/5 > **Joe** | *2 May 2026* | Media Production | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: The easy-to-use video editing tools. I had a to make a bunch of training videos for the CMS we use at our company, and being able to go back and easily edit the videos was a big help. The final videos were much smoother with the edits I was able to do. > > **Cons**: The Vimeo Record tool. While this is a really handy tool to record your screen, and works most of the time without any issue, I've experienced issues with it freezing up. That gets frustrating when you're minutes into a recording and have to re-do it. > > I've had a great experience with Vimeo, if it wasn't for the issues I've experienced with Vimeo Record, I would give it 5 stars. It's a very simple process to upload and save videos. It's also a breeze to find and copy the embed code for videos. All Vimeo video embeds works great into our CMS as well. ----- Page: 1 / 43\ Next: [Next page](https://www.capterra.co.il/software/122348/vimeo-pro?page=2) ## Links - [View on Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.il/software/122348/vimeo-pro) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-AR | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-CR | | | es-DO | | | es-EC | | | es-MX | | | es-PA | | | es-PE | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | it | | | ja | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
