Paychex Flex is great for completing payroll
Comments: I appreciate being able to check on the 401(k) and have the money go straight into employee accounts, saving time and effort. Since insurance coverage is now related directly to who has enrolled in which plans, processing payroll has become much more efficient.
Pros:
From either the employer's or employee's perspective, the website couldn't be simpler to use. Filters and stored views make it easy to customize your payroll experience based on your current needs.
Cons:
Over the years, I've seen a few different specialists. Obviously, not everyone has the same potential. When my allocated person hasn't been able to help me, I've found that the online chat staff is quite responsive and helpful.
Rocky start but smooth ride otherwise
Comments: Off to a rocky start, but things are smoothing out now.
Pros:
Ease of setup and benefits offered are great.
Cons:
When getting onboarded, one of their reps never sent me an onboarding email. I had to ask them 4 separate times over the span of 2 weeks and keep following up. Annoying.
Mid tier payroll
Comments: It's okay, its not my favorite time and attendance scorecard system, they do make the information and language straightforward however there are better options on the market for a more fluid and user enhanced experience.
Pros:
It is easy to use, straightforward, simple, and has a native iPhone compatible app.
Cons:
The app is slow, sometimes the changes are not fully reflected, time and attendance cards require a few redundant button pushes in order to save a change.
Paychex Flex is a great solution for small companies
Comments: Paychex Flex is a great option for smaller companies as the interface, parameters you can set for time clocks, and employee desktop are all very user friendly. It definitely saves time searching for information and printing off pay stubs.
Pros:
Paychex processed payroll very quickly, I never had to worry about payroll being late even if I did it the day before. The time clock was very useful AND user friendly. Employees can clock in on their phone or at their workstation.
Cons:
It is very difficult and time consuming to make sure that Paychex Flex is pulling the correct taxes for each employee. I think it would be very difficult to use this for a large company.

Pros:
It is easy to navigate and it is very user friendly.
Cons:
The rep we had assigned to our account was not helpful at all. He wouldn't return calls/emails. Every time we would call to speak to him, he was NEVER available.
