Advanced identity management and seamless SSO in Okta have been tremendous, improving a lot on our security posture and user efficiencies. Integrations are wide-ranging, different types of customizable policies are excellent for meeting sophisticated security requirements and compliance standards.
Cons:
Configuration of Okta to suit any unique requirements can take some time and may require some customization. The pricing can also be slightly higher compared to some other offerings, but for the overall features and ecellent support, it's worth the price that is paid.
Useful but so frustrating
Comments: It's been a frustrating journey to say the least. I've heard that it's better to use if you implement it at the very beginning, but can be frustrating if you switch over to it later. My experience has been the latter, so if you're interested in it, just be aware of that.
Pros:
It's nice that all my passwords are managed by one software. And the app is somewhat useful as well.
Cons:
I'll consistently get locked out of the software, and since everything is tied to it, all my other software as well. This has caused me to lose tons of time during work hours that I can't get back.

What I appreciate most about Okta is its precision in managing access controls. Since we use adaptive MFA and context-aware policies, we govern access to huge security without disturbance to workflows. It is really very easy to integrate with current systems, hence making compliance management much quicker/
Cons:
Okta has tons of functionality, and it was a bit complex during the initial setup. This wasn't much of an issue, since Okta does have full documentation and support that tends to respond well—making the learning curve relatively shallow.

Pros:
Okta integrated well with the financial systems, improving security and the management of users. The single sign-on and multi-factor authentication improved compliance and efficiency in managing access across multiple applications.
Cons:
Set up was complex. It really does require dedicated IT resources to configure properly. There are advanced features that are hard to set up without expert help.
