Reviews of Domo
Data management using Domo
Comments: It gives a new way technique of data management and analysis. We are very happy with this software.
Pros:
It's easy to customize and drive this program. Our consumers may access data from their mobile gadgets or any location with internet access. Tables and graphs are intuitively laid out for users. The drag-and-drop component makes it simple to assemble visualizations.
Cons:
The execution and customer service have been a disaster. We used two separate advisors for the deployment but never used the solutions they suggested.
Easy to Learn Data Visualization Tool
Pros:
I like the speed I can create new cards to better understand the data behind user complaints or potential areas to improve our system and customer experience. I also appreciate that it was easy to learn the software on the job with a limited background in data.
Cons:
I sometime wish I could create my own card template, and have had to export data to excel to create specific visualizations. Additionally, combining data sources can be clunky.
Domo somewhat useful
Pros:
It's analytics is pretty easy to understand.
Cons:
Some features are not too user friendly and can be confusing
Domo Product
Pros:
That it has multiple forms to showcase data and selections to create reports.
Cons:
It was simple in many functions and we only displayed it for day to day sales tracking.
A consistent fan and supporter
Comments: I'm a fan of DOMO and I like using it. It allows me and many of peers to use the technology and the data easily in the ways we need to use it to make critical business decisions.
Pros:
It's easy to use. Any tool that requires significant training isn't a tool that is going to be easily adopted. Domo is intuitive and efficient.
Cons:
Not sure this is a domo thing or an us thing, the list of reports needed are extensive.
Easy-To-Work Business Intelligence Tool
Pros:
DOMO plays as an integrated platform that combines data from various data sources so that data scientists and data analyst could easily do the further investigations. The graphical programming tool (ETL) is another advantage for code-less development. The visualizations and dashboards are great for our business intelligence activities.
Cons:
It's hard to set up the PDP policies even with the dynamic PDP policy since all the attributes need manual inputs. The help function is not that friendly.

DOMO Tool Feedback Review
Comments: My experience is awesome, I worked in DOMO for almost 5+years and I love this tool
Pros:
Its a combination of everything Data extraction --> building ETL--> Dashboard Creation
Cons:
DOMO is a bit expensive, and the higher management must consider that when compared with other BI tools.
Strong BI cloud platform
Pros:
The flexibility to quickly alter datasets via magic ETL, beast modes, views and control the data being exposed to dashboards.
Cons:
Sometimes it can take a bit longer to acheive a task in comparison to competitors like Tableau.
Domo works great with Salesforce!
Pros:
Domo pulls data quickly from Salesforce, which is vital for our company. Salesforce reporting isn't excellent, but Domo gives us everything we need.
Cons:
It is not the easiest to navigate initially, but it is not difficult to figure out.
Domo makes it easier
Comments: Exceptional tool where I could find up to date information
Pros:
Synchronized data makes it easier to analyze between the modules
Cons:
It took a while to master it but when you master it becomes super fun

Domo Accelerates Data Driven Strategy
Comments: I have used Domo for about 5 years, and side by side with Tableau for a good chunk of that time. Domo has proven to have better support, UI, user adoption, ETL functionality, and connectors.
Pros:
Domo has proven to be more efficient to build dashboards, while being easy to use to bring non-BI users into the fold. I have been amazed by how quickly new users become comfortable and productive using the tools. We leverage a stable of the connectors to further drive our strategy from multiple operational platforms.
Cons:
It would be great to be able to multi-layer calculated fields within cards, but this isn't a huge obstacle because of the ETL capability at the dataset level

Better and Smarter BI Tool
Comments: easy to use, offers great visualization for data analysis. I really like how easy it is to connect to other systems by offering out of box connectors.
Pros:
DOMO can easily connect with most all other systems and bring their data into DOMO warehouse. It also offers beast mode in data visualization, this feature is a terrific way to create a dynamic field within a dataset that references other columns.
Cons:
Data permissions setup are sometime bid confusion: publication groups vs PDP
Awesome Product
Pros:
I can review my metrics to ensure that I am meeting my goals.
Cons:
I do not receive a second report at the end of the day only at the begging of the day.

Domo Review
Comments: Overall I feel this tool is powerful enough for the mid tier SAAS industries for their dashboard/reporting needs.
Pros:
It has good number of connectors to all the enterprise applications.Very powerful ETL tool to migrate data from spreadsheets.
Cons:
I feel we have less dashboard/card customizations compared to Tableau and also the user interface of dashboard builder is not that good for basic users.
Great Producet
Pros:
I love using Domo. It is a great product that gets the job done well.
Cons:
It is a little expensive and can be hard to customize.
Domo for Reporting
Pros:
Reviewing Monthly performance using available dashboards
Cons:
Gaps in seamless integration with other platforms.
Domo is a good analytics platform for those who need a new solution
Pros:
Customization and reporting work well, even for novice users
Cons:
Not really any cons, we just decided to utilize another platform that was already integrated with our other software
Domo for a Law Firm
Comments: Overall the reporting has been great. I send a weekly productivity report to the staff that Domo allows us to break down by position. This is great for reviews
Pros:
Being able to get a pulse check on reporting for the Firm at a glance. We review the reports weekly and even send employee reports that track productivity.
Cons:
It’s hard to dislike anything. The reporting is easy to use
Makes data analysis simple for all!
Pros:
Before being introduced to DOMO, most of our data analysis had to be carried out in Microsoft Excel, which isn't ideal when dealing with large and ever-changing datasets. We were using multiple systems and it was often difficult to get a good overall picture for reports. DOMO allows us to connect to all of our various systems, including our CRM, our email marketing software, website analytics and the various demand gen channels we use for advertising campaigns, allowing us to report and analyse the performance of our marketing activity end-to-end, from the first contact with the customer to the end result of the sales process. We have also been able to utilise DOMO to help us with reporting in other areas, such as customer survey results and monitoring the usage of our CRM, and create useful data visualisations that can be shared with the business users. The software is user-friendly and it's easy to start using straight away, although the more complicated functionality can of course take some getting used to, but overall, it has a nice UI and is pleasant to work with.
Cons:
We do sometimes have difficulty with our CRM datasets due to problems with the data connector, and we recently discovered that our existing datasets will need to be recreated using a different version of the connector now, which isn't ideal. Sometimes the error messages aren't very helpful when a dataset update fails, and you then need to seek help from support to identify what is actually going on, which can cause delays in getting the problem resolved.
Overpromising Undelivering
Comments: Sweet and sour. It looked great on paper, but it's turning out to be more challenging to work with than expected.
Pros:
Flexibility of ingesting, manipulating and outputting data in one place. The connector system paired with the native data warehouse, ETL and visualisation capabilities allow for a quick data to market on data projects
Cons:
Support is poor across the board. It seems like we can't trust most of Domo's capabilities to support enterprise-grade functionality. There's multiple gaps on connectors, weird inexplicable performance degradation periods and gaps around managing data quality pipelines.
Data Visualization and Data Warehouse Match
Comments: It is a fun software that allows you do experiment and become familiar with the data any way you want to.
Pros:
I like how there is a lot of things you can do with the software. You can create ETLs, use SQL to transform data, create visualizations, and more. It is like a swiss army knife with data, it can do almost anything. I also like how there are multiple ways it lets you do the same thing, which allows you to find whatever you feel most comfortable with and do it that way.
Cons:
Sometimes navigating the software is a little confusing, especially when switching between various datasets.
Domo Is expensive but well worth the investment
Comments: I really like Domo it's hands down my favorite piece of software and also my favorite company to work with. It has solved countless reporting problems an saved thousands of hours spent repetitive reporting tasks for our team.
Pros:
It's incredibly powerful and allows any one (regardless of coding or data science background) the ability to create dynamic reports and complex data automations. The best part of Domo though is the customer support. When you call support you get a human right away and they are always ready to help regardless of how complicated your problem is or how much time it will take to solve. You never feel helpless with Domo, only empowered
Cons:
It costs a fortune and they have no entry level packages. they also have a habit of releasing awesome features that aren't included in the main package and that cost puts the platform well out of reach for most companies.
Best tool for data visualization and ETL.
Pros:
Best thing about Domo is data preperation and data visualization on the single plateform and makes very efficient to work and very easy to connect data to visualization just import data and prepare and go on you don't need to worry about refresh data domo will take care those things we just need to focus on the productivity instead of setting up things.
Cons:
In the data preperation there is a option view this is good option but if we want to edit already created view then it doesn't let you change that easily specially when we use group by in view.
Domo for the win!
Pros:
The ability to quickly connect various data sources and generate reports with ease.
Cons:
The DDX bricks have an inherent limit to the maximum number of rows it can retrieve, this is not cool. I've had to create ETL's to whittle the results down enough to use the dataset in my DDX brick.
Great with a dash of salt
Comments: Overall experience is good. Just need more training options for specific subjects. Update the developer site.
Pros:
Very powerful and very flexible software. Lots of options to get data into Domo and to manipulate it.
Cons:
Training/Learning. I have to search all over the web to learn how to do things. When I work with Domo developers I'm told the training material is out-of-date and I should be doing something another way. (I appreciate the honesty of the developers, just not the out of date training material). Need some kind of tier training system. Not every user needs all the nitty-gritty details, but others like myself who have to work daily in domo need better understanding of the details.
