We Are Learning does not try to replace traditional authoring tools. Instead, it focuses on what it does best: making animated, video-based branching scenarios significantly easier to design and produce. And it excels at that. The bird’s-eye branching layout (similar to Twine, but far more polished) is one of my favorite features. It allows you to visually map decision paths while simultaneously building a highly professional output with 3D animated characters. From a learning strategy perspective, that visual clarity makes scenario design faster, cleaner, and more intentional. The tool feels modern. The 3D avatars are expressive, the poses and facial expressions are continuously expanding, and AI-powered features (including open-ended responses) make it feel aligned with where learning technology is heading. Rendering is fast, the interface is intuitive, and the team frequently releases improvements. It’s clear they are building actively and listening to their users. While export options are currently limited (web link or embed only), and downloadable HTML/LMS-ready packages would be a welcome addition, the product already delivers strong value, in my opinion, especially for corporate training environments that rely on scenario-based learning.
