> **Pros**: Unification without forcing one tool on everyone. Altus let us standardize governance and visibility while teams still work in Azure DevOps, Project, or Planner—each where it fits best.

True “single source of truth” in our tenant. Centralized project and resource data stays inside Microsoft 365, which massively improved security, compliance, and control.

Management-ready transparency. The ability to provide a central overview of projects, demand, and resources across the company was the biggest game changer for leadership.

Less admin, more confidence. Fewer disconnected SaaS tools means fewer integrations, fewer identities/permissions to manage, and much less operational friction.

Define what PMO can change vs. what requires IT review to avoid complexity creep.
Auto-updates are great—monitor the roadmap/release notes or pause production updates until reviewed \& tested.
