> **Pros**: What I like best about Ilum is its ability to manage and monitor whole Spark cluster on my on-premise environment from one unified platform. Itr intuitive web interface and well documented easy to use for integration REST API. Also I appreciate Ilum's support for modern data format, especially Delta. Also I find Jupyter notebook especially useful for me.

> **Cons**: One thing, which is not really a cons is that from the beginning you need some k8s knowledge to be able to use Ilum.

> Very positive I'd say. Platform is stable, web UI is very intuitive. It has significantly simplified the way we run and monitor Spark workloads, making it much easier to manage my data pipelines across environments. Also thanks to migration to ILUM we've managed to reduce costs by more than 50%.

> **Pros**: Ilum has proven to be an outstanding tool, perfectly tailored to our needs. It offers hybrid management of data lake environments—both on-premises and cloud-based.
The transition from a Cloudera-based setup to an on-premises Kubernetes environment went smoothly and resulted in significant cost savings.
Continuous integration with external modules keeps expanding the platform’s capabilities.

> **Cons**: We’ve been working with Ilum since the very beginning – we were among their early adopters. Of course, there were some issues along the way, but their support team always resolved everything quickly and efficiently.

> I cannot recommend Ilum more\! It allows us to make a smooth transition from cloud-based and high-cost environments to an on-premises Kubernetes cluster. It turns out that we can process petabytes of data daily on self-hosted, secured machines without even considering other extremely expensive solutions.
The Ilum table wrapper for Iceberg, Delta, and Hudi is a great choice that makes working with all of these formats much easier.
