> **Cons**: Onboarding and KYC took longer than we expected, and the documentation requirements for a high-risk vertical are heavy, as with all other payment orchestrators, so plan for a few weeks before going live.

> The experience has been very good for us. UpGate gave us a stable way to accept cards with card-on-file and recurring billing working reliably, and their team has been hands-on in helping us reduce declines and improve approval rates.
