> **Pros**: Lightweight, runs fine on low-power industrial hardware. Polls Modbus devices and forwards data to the server without issues. If the connection drops, it buffers data locally and sends it when back online - no gaps. Remote updates are a huge time-saver, no need to visit every site.

> **Cons**: Logging could be more detailed for troubleshooting. Initial agent deployment took a couple of tries to get right.

> Reliable agent for remote data collection. We've been running it for about eight months now across ten remote sites, and it just works quietly in the background without any hand-holding. It saved us a ton of windshield time — we used to send a technician every time a meter stopped reporting, and now most issues are resolved remotely. The buffering feature alone paid for itself: we had a three-day network outage at one site and didn't lose a single data point.
