> **Pros**: AWS DirectConnect is a very sophisticated tool for systems requiring private and low latency connection with AWS services. I had the opportunity to maintain the AWS DirectConnect usage in the system and it indeed decreased the latency metrics in the system.
> 
> **Cons**: This is very sophisticated feature that might be replaced with for example Amazon VPC (for privacy requirements). I would rather lean on using this feature for achieving low latency systems.
