## Reviews

### "Simple and Easy site builder" — 4.0/5

> **Avi** | *25 March 2025* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Its free and easy to make a simple site that looks nice
>
> **Cons**: You are very limited when it comes to custom features, SEO integration, exporting site to a different platform.
>
> Overall, it is really easy to creste a website that looks nice and runs well... but if you want to do anything fancy, you cannot.

### "Google Sites - build your own website FAST\!" — 5.0/5

> **Mike** | *27 August 2026* | E-Learning | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Google Sites is so easy to use and it was how I started my website. Loads of tutorials online, but it is very intuitive and easy to use.
>
> **Cons**: Being limited to certain templates could be aproblem, but it wasn't for me as there is a good choice to choose from.
>
> Really gave me confidence that I could have a website of my own and maintain it and build content on a dailt basis.

-----

### "Brilliant for live documents and dynamic slides. Not great for websites." — 5.0/5

> **Lawrence** | *17 July 2025* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Google Sites is the most robust and easy to use 'page builder' tool on the market. You can go from zero to an acceptable level website in minutes.
>
> **Cons**: The name site is a bit of a stretch. I have tried building a few full websites with Google Sites and there are a few things lacking like good styling, mobile responsiveness and contact forms. It's a good page-builder or non-linear document, but not a website.
>
> It cannot deliver a visually impressive website in the same way that competitors like SquareSpace or WordPress can, but it's brilliant for presenting information online. Think of it like a dynamic slide deck rather than a website.

### "Good with chance to be better" — 3.0/5

> **Ziggy** | *5 March 2025* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It’s ease of setup is really good, simple for even beginners to use and does not require any coding.
>
> **Cons**: You can embed however it is on a fixed position on the site, not like an overlay. For example if you want to add a support chat button it would have to be on a fixed position on the page, not hovering in the ie bottom right like some sites.
>
> Good, but could be better with newer features.

-----

### "My Experience with Google Sites" — 5.0/5

> **Lorenzo** | *7 June 2026* | Construction Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: No coding is required to use Google Sites; it only involves writing, arranging, and editing, which makes web design easy and user-friendly.
>
> **Cons**: Surely, I have no dislikes about Google Sites because it is very easy to set up and use for web design.
>
> It has helped me learn how to design a website and how to use existing pre-made templates to create custom websites.
