> As a game programmer who's moving toward writing, I've found Articy's use of both flow charts and scripting to be fun and intuitive.  I know I overuse that last word, but it's primarily what I look for, as I'm a right-brained person with only one foot in the tech world and I write for those who may have trouble.  It's easy to zoom in, zoom out, drag the screen around, add elements, color code elements, branch, and rapidly switch between what I call forest view and tree view.  Dialogue is equally easy to handle, and in the end, you can view everything in sequence as a slide show.  I designed a narrative branching game out of "Transformers: The Movie" as an exercise and found it quite a bit of fun.   It can even export directly into Unity, which I've worked in for years. 

For those who find the video tutorials too information heavy, just practice with adding flow elements and connecting them, giving them titles and descriptions, and navigating around the view.   Maybe double click on the connecting lines to add your own made up conditionals or actions.  

Nesting I find a little confusing, as it drives me nuts when the hierarchical view doesn't quite match the other views, but to each their own, I suppose.  

Overall, a fine tool for corporate creative writers, and widely used.
