I usually watch content creators and the ads aren't too much invasive. Everyone will always continue to watch YouTube and it's amazing that way. > > **Cons**: Honestly, YouTube has so much potential and gave overtime a nice experience to everyone, including me so I can't find any cons about it. It's features like video hosting allows to upload or share videos. It is easy to use, even a new user can easily search for different videos or subscribe to channels. > > **Cons**: YouTube runs endless ads which feels frustrated most of the times especially while watching any long video and if any user want ad free experience YouTube charges a lot for it's subscription which is not worth the money. Also it's customer support barely provides any support on time especially when the channel gets hacked. > > All in all my experience with YouTube is quite positive as it offers a great platform for all the creators and viewers as well, also it provides ample content to consume but the most irritating part of it is endless ads. ----- ### "The good and bad sides of YouTube" — 3.0/5 > **Tri** | *5 April 2026* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 5.0/10 > > **Pros**: YouTube has a huge variety of videos and content creators. Each creator builds their own community, and the interaction through comments and likes makes the platform very engaging. I also like that creators can monetize their content and grow their channels over time. > > **Cons**: There are too many ads, and the platform constantly promotes YouTube Premium to remove them. Another issue is moderation, which is mostly handled by AI and sometimes makes mistakes. Also, the removal of public dislike counts makes it harder to judge whether a video is actually useful or not. > > Overall, YouTube is a very good platform with a lot of valuable content. However, some decisions, like excessive ads and lack of transparency with dislikes, negatively affect the user experience.
