It was so popular that loop libraries were expected to be released in the "ACID-ized" format. And it was popular for a reason: you could open ACID and get working right away. A very straightforward interface helps facilitate easy songwriting and mixing, and loops simply work in ACID, unlike older products like Pro Tools. The UI and the general layout is very similar. For example, the Explorer tab for quickly accessing the media files for the project in the computer has almost similar layout with Video Pro X. The noticeable difference is that for Acid Pro it is located at the bottom left while for the Video Pro X at the top right. This and other similarities such as we have for the timelines have made my workflow easy in terms of navigating around the software. I know where to get what I need at a glance. Additionally, It is a very capable DAW loaded with lots of loops (Acidized loops) for any genre. It is my to go place when I need some background loops for my videos.
