Some of the teams I work with specifically prefer Microsoft tools, and OneNote fits very naturally into that workflow. I like being able to separate information into notebooks, sections and pages while still keeping everything searchable. Shared notebooks are also very useful for team collaboration, especially when several people need to contribute notes or keep project information in one place. > > **Cons**: The main downside for me is that it can become more complicated than a simple note-taking tool needs to be. The notebook, section and page structure is powerful, but larger workspaces can start to feel crowded, and some features or settings are not immediately obvious. There is definitely a learning curve if you want to use OneNote beyond basic notes.
