Transforming Financial Management with Precision
Comments: My overall experience with Sage Intacct has been nothing short of exceptional. The program has significantly streamlined our financial management processes, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
Pros:
Sage Intacct has become the backbone of our financial management operations. The program's robust accounting and reporting capabilities are outstanding. I appreciate the flexibility it offers in creating custom financial reports, providing a tailored view of our organization's financial health.
Cons:
While Sage Intacct excels in financial management, enhancing the mobile app's features for on-the-go access would be beneficial. Adding more comprehensive functionalities such as invoice approvals and expense tracking on the mobile platform would improve accessibility and flexibility.
Excellent for Mid Sized Businesses
Comments: I first started using Sage Intact in 2017. At first, it was very different from the system I had been using and I felt a little overwhelmed. However, once I got my bearings I found the software to be user friendly and very functional.
Pros:
Sage Intacct has a user-friendly interface and has all the accounting solutions we need in our accounting department. It is cloud based so it can be accessed remotely. It allows us to create detailed custom reports that are capable of reporting across multiple entities. The menus are very easy to navigate and it is a suitable system for a company who has many users that only need access to certain items. They also have good help and continuing ed seminars.
Cons:
There's not much we don't like about Sage Intacct. For a very small company or for users who haven't utilized a system with as many features it may be overwhelming to adopt. This program is best for mid sized to large companies.

Junk - avoid
Comments: Horrifying junk that has not made much in improvements over the past 10 years. Waste of space.
Pros:
Nothing - absolutely zero. Have had nothing positive to say.
Cons:
Everything - it is useless, fails on updates. Deletes itself. Corrupts its own data on critical backups. Fails at every turn.

Comments: Sage is user friendly, the reporting is very clear and transparent.
Pros:
Dimensions make reporting so much easier.
Cons:
We aren't able to batch AR Credit Card Payments or Email invoices, it must be done individually.

Comments: We have used almost 7 years and it has served us well in all aspects of accounting, payables, cash management, General Ledger and Reporting.
Pros:
Really good integrated accounting system with good modules and great reporting capabilities.
Cons:
No real cons. Some modules have some learning curve but not unmanageable. Would like to see improvement on Fixed Asset module. Ok as is but could be better integrated.

Comments: Experience with post software itself and with support have been positive. Believe that product has ‘top tier’ accounting / financial functionality at a ‘mid-tier’ price.
Pros:
Very robust system. Easy to give business users access to information and reporting that they need. Very good reporting capabilities.
Cons:
Very satisfied with product. Wished was a little certainty in long term product pricing.

Overall great product even with a few flaws
Comments: Overall the experience has been great. Our use of Sage has saved us a lot of manual spreadsheet work.
Pros:
I really like the deferred revenue and prepaid expenses modules. Automatic postings saves a lot of manual work. Consolidation of multiple entities is also very helpful.
Cons:
I don't like that you cannot pay a USD AP Bill with a Canadian credit card. Tax module isn't actually working for Canada.

Solid Product, Flexible but Unduly Complicated Reporting
Comments: Overall, I am generally pleased with the working version of Sage Intacct that I have, but it has been an arduous journey to get here. I would recommend that you are careful with your implementation partner as many headaches can be avoided with a thoughtful, thorough cutover.
Pros:
I like the flexibility that Sage gives me in terms of reporting and I like the accounting I can assign to department heads for approval of their spending.
Cons:
I think there is a complexity to the reportage that is unnecessary. The account group structure is difficult to navigate and must be maintained diligently if your chart of accounts changes.

Great for Small Company.
Comments: Grea experience - importing data when we converted was easy. Recommendation for a Consultant for complex bridging was a good experience.
Pros:
Ability to upload data. Used a great deal for Journal Entries and Input from Sales Software.
Cons:
The approval of Payables link doesn't take Approvers to the proper Company level.

Still beginners but growing into Sage
Pros:
It will accommodate our organization for many years to come. We are able to automate processes and we are learning how to use features in Sage at a deeper level.
Cons:
Our implementation was rough, but we have spoken to many who had lovely integrations and deployments! Speak up if you feel like your implementation team is just going through the motions.
Alternatives Considered:
Intacct - a solid quality solution
Comments: Had a great experience implementing the product. It has been years since we've made any significant changes. When we need support, they are responsive.
Pros:
Ease of use. Once you learn the product it is very easy to use. Reliability: We have never experienced any downtime since we implemented the product
Cons:
Budget module did not work for us. Time tracking is far more robust that what we need which makes it not worth the price. Reporting module was upgraded (definitely needed) and not happy with having to pay to upgrade to use it.

The learning curve can be steep in some areas of the software

Pros:
It easily automates our finance and accounting processes. The user interface is so easy and userfriendly for us to use.

So far we can not complain of a dislike.

World Neighbors' Review of Sage Intacct
Comments: I believe World Neighbors made the correct decision several years ago to migrate to Sage Intacct. I am very please with the decision and the software.
Pros:
It's on-line. It's rarely "down." Most screens are easy to navigate. There are many options on how to pull data out of the system. I like the dashboard.
Cons:
I have to purchase AssetEdge from WIPFLI for Fixed Asset management. It is very hard to find the Helpdesk Ticketing System. I wonder if it is obscure on purpose. I still have not become an expert on report writing. The concept just hasn't "sunk in." I think the training could be improved in this area.

Long Term Care Intacct User
Comments: Implementation was a little rocky, but to be expected. Using it day to day is very functional and productive. It is a very broad accounting product that can be used in multiple businesses.
Pros:
The modules offered and their ease of use.
Cons:
The customer support. Like many software companies these days, they want you to try and solve your own issues using their help guides. The personal touch is missing from customer service.

Pros:
Sage Intacct platform is very dependable. There have only been system access issues a couple times and they are resolved quickly. Multicurrency capabilities has allowed us to expand our operations with no major reconfiguration
Cons:
At times, the system does not handle some complicated transactions exactly how we would like
Sage is great but pricey
Comments: We use Sage for the accounting platform. It integrates well with our other software.
Pros:
Easy to use and navigate. Most things are easy to figure out on your own but if you can't, the help button directs you to the answer.
Cons:
The price--increases each year are very large.
