Comments: It has saved me plenty of times with our expenses. A true life savor.

Pros:

I like how everything is in one place. I can create fields for different deadlines, contact types, and keep track of all expenses in my cases.

Cons:

I have not found a feature that will allow me to add templates to generate documents from NEOS directly with case information.

DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID

Comments: Terrible. Pitiful customer service and the product is terrible. Not only does it have unfixable glitches it is also not user friendly and it is difficult to navigate!

Pros:

None. Absolutely not a single one. Neos is terrible.

Cons:

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Needles was great, but there is absolutely nothing good about Neos.

The best tool for a solo practioner!

Easy Breezy

Pros:

The intuitiveness of the system - it can almost predict what you want it to do and do it. As long as the case information is put correctly into the system then the system can pull information to put letters and documents together. my favorite part is the texting ability. It is easy. Most people will look at their phone first thing in the morning. Emails do not get as much attention as texting.

Cons:

because it is cloud based - the internet needs to be steady. sometimes it gets a little wonky

Comments: Overall, I really like Neos because it has helped me navigate the case better.

Pros:

Easy to navigate throughout the different tabs.

Cons:

Accessing PDF's and Videos along with Saving and editing PDF's

Neos is super easy to use

Comments: Overall I love it and I love how everyone can collab perfectly and do their jobs in each and every case and we can all see who did what with their notes and just go from there without having to be updated on any new thing with the cases

Pros:

How easy and quickly I can get to things like messages and my checklist for each case and client and how organized all the documents are when I'm trying to look for them.

Cons:

I don't think I've found anything I dislike, everything is pretty straightforward on Neos, maybe just the automatic font and positioning I have to play around with when I'm trying to create a letter on docs I find a little tedious.

Neos is Superior to all other case management software

Comments: Compared to the other case software management I've used, Neos is far superior. One of my favorite features is that you can keep multiple clients' files open and can volley between them at the top of the screen.

Pros:

Neos is extremely user friendly and is the best when it comes to categorizing and organizing client documents! As a litigation paralegal, it's imperative that I keep everything organized as I have deadlines that are always looming! Neos has a fantastic case calendar which syncs with my email and outlook Calendar making it easy to manage deadlines all in one place! Another feature I like is the ability to toggle between different client files at the top of the screen. This feature is such a time saver!

Cons:

If there's one thing I would complain about, it's that sometimes Neos takes forever to load which I'm sure is due to multiple users being on at once.

Neos Makes Me Happy

Comments: Neos makes managing my cases easy. I think the company made the right choice by going with Neos.

Pros:

The integration of the other products we use in the office make it easier and faster to work on cases and knowing if I need help it is a click away.

Cons:

I can't say there are any major issues with Neos I know when updates come out sometimes things need to get worked up and I know I can count on that happening in a timely manner.

You won't regret Neos.

Comments: Neos has helped with staying organized and being able to manage and save all information I could possibly think of while managing my cases, client info, treatment, court deadlines, the list goes on...

Easy to navigate and pretty self-explanatory. One of the best case management programs I have ever worked with.

Cons:

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about Neos.

Transitioning from Needles to Neos

Comments: It has been a great transition from Needles to Neos. Although there are some minor things I miss, this is a much better product, and will help our firm manage our cases more successfully.

Pros:

I like that it syncs with my Outlook calendar and that I can access it from everywhere. It's also very intuitive to use.

Cons:

I don't like that it doesn't make any sounds to tell you that you have a new message. I don't like the little notification bell at the top.

User Friendly

Pros:

Assembly Neos has significantly enhanced my workflow with its versatile features and robust integrations. I love the many options for accessing information, which allows me to retrieve data quickly and efficiently. The platform's capability to create a multitude of reports tailored to our firm's specific needs is a game-changer. Additionally, the seamless integration with numerous programs has streamlined various processes, making my professional life much easier. Overall, Assembly Neos is an invaluable tool for any firm looking to optimize its operations and improve productivity.

Cons:

While Assembly Neos offers a wide range of features and integrations that enhance productivity, one area that could use improvement is the calendar functionality. Currently, the calendar does not alert users to scheduling conflicts. For instance, if you double-book an appointment, there is no notification indicating an existing appointment at that time. Implementing a conflict alert feature would greatly enhance the usability of the calendar and prevent scheduling errors. This improvement would make an already powerful tool even more efficient and user-friendly.

Cloud Based File Management is the BEST!

Pros:

I like the ease of Neos. It is user friendly for those that have never used the software and are new to cloud based file management. Neos makes it easy to integrate everyday used apps, such as Microsoft Office, and create templates. I also like the ability to text our clients through our system. In 2024, it saves having to use solely email!

Cons:

The only qualm that I have with Neos, that they are already working on integrating I might add, is having the text messages that we receive from clients only come as notifications and not as emails.

One Stop Shop

Pros:

Neos is a "One Stop Shop". You literally can do anything all in one program. No more multiple programs being up at once when you are using Neos.

Cons:

The option to "add document" to existing PDF's in a clients Neos folder is great but the downside to that is having to search through tons of documents that have been added by others throughout the day. It would be nice to pull from documents that have been added to the specific clients file instead of searching through days of documents that do not apply to that particular client.

New to Neos - Four Months In

Comments: It's been a lot easier to learn than I expected. I learn new things almost every day that make my job easier.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to find a client and upload to their case. I also like how easy it is to create documents in Neos to send to clients. Communicating via text is also very easy and well integrated.

Cons:

It's not really a Neos problem, but I think our wifi is having trouble keeping up. This makes Neos glitch a lot in the afternoons.

Makes my day to day easier!

Comments: Very positive. I have used multiple different systems across a few different law firms. I find Neos to be the easiest and user friendly to date.

Pros:

The multi-purpose capabilities of Neos has been game changing. I really enjoy how Neos works hand and hand with outlook.

Cons:

Occassionally there are hiccups after updates, but they are usually quickly resolved.

Comments: My overall experience with Neos has been amazing. Their customer service is always great. Neos help me save time, stay organized, and it makes everything feel manageable.

Pros:

What I like the most about Neos is how accessible it is. It saves me a lot of time when I need to generate a document. I no longer have to manually input information. I also like how I'm able to generate reports.

Cons:

What I least like about Neos is that sometimes there's glitches, but the tech support team is always there to help and guide me. Overall, I don't really face any troubles.

You have to relearn Neos because certain features can be removed or replace.

Case management made easy

Comments: Great! It occasionally crashes and has difficulty syncing with SharePoint but that is easily resolved with a patch.

Pros:

Easy to keep track files and the progress of cases.

Cons:

Editing takes a while to sync (Ex. Renaming files)

User Friendly Interface

Pros:

I like the document management, and the ease of collaborating between firms. I enjoy the Office365 integration.

Cons:

I wish there was a better dashboard system. The checklist is easily overwhelming.

Decent software for PI/Med Mal attorneys

Pros:

What I like most are the party, case, and checklist tabs. They are very handy in keeping all of the case information in one place and easy to find.

Cons:

The Notes tab is not very user friendly at all. It is difficult to find notes and the note number isn't visible in list view and it's hard to search for specific content.

Essential for great case management! Highly recommend.

Comments: My overall experience with Needles Neos has been simply wonderful. We have all the tools necessary to track and maintain all cases, and it's a great feeling to not wonder about what's going on in a case because you can find the answer immediately in the program.

Pros:

I like that there always are new features being added in addition to the old, great features the program already contains. I like the daily reminders on each case keeping us current and up to date on all our files. I like the simplicity of the calendar and the integration with Outlook. I like the time that I am saved by document generation. I like to be able to directly text clients from the platform. I like the ease of entry of parties, cases, etc. I like the various reports that can be created with the click of a button.

Cons:

When you create a new calendar item, it automatically sets the time to 12:00 a.m. if you do not change the time, you will ultimately miss that calendared item.

A HAPPY USER of NEOS

Comments: 100% awesome. I can go on and on about the software the support and love of the use of the software.

Pros:

The functionality of adapting the software to the users legal needs is awesome. We now can easily rely on the case management of the cases where we could not with Perfect Practice. The software also allow us to customize the software to our style of case management. SUPPORT IS AWESOME. We could not have made it without [SENSITIVE CONTENT]! She has been the best.

Cons:

The report customization is a hard for me to use.
