R Studio Data Recovery

4.0 2 months ago New

Comments: R Studio Data Recovery is a product I used during my time in University. While not necessary to operate in R, I certainly found the platform useful in learning user controls.

Pros:

R Studio Data Recovery makes R more user friendly and accessible.

Cons:

While useful, R Studio is not entirely intuitive; I anticipate many first time users would still require detailed instructions.

Do not buy this product. They treat people with disabilities like garbage.

2.0 3 years ago

Comments: I had a minor technical issue and R-Studio would not spend 30 seconds on the phone assisting me, a person with a disability who cannot process their written instructions. I don't whine about my disability. I simply ask for an accommodation, which, in my country, is required by law. I hope consumers who require data recovery software consider alternative products before giving their money to these ignorant people.

Pros:

I think it can work if you understand how to use it.

Cons:

The instructions are now impossible for me to understand. I have owned this software for many years; however, my disability is worse and I could not get through the first step.... Select Drive. It was always "greyed out." I phoned tech support because I have a disability... HE WOULD NOT HELP ME! I told him I cannot email because of my disability... He told me to hire a professional data recovery company. I said nothing is wrong with my drive, I am only looking for one file. He said he had another call and he hung up on me.

Easy IDE

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: I use R Studio on a daily basis to interact with data. It's my go-to software anytime I need to do something too big for Excel or something that might need to be repeated.

Pros:

Such a user-friendly IDE. It makes managing all of my active data objects, visualizations, and packages extremely easy.

Cons:

Nobody will ever accuse R or R Studio in being the fastest or most memory-efficient software.

R Studio Review 2020

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Data Visualization, Tabulation, Data Analysis

Pros:

R is a great software. Its a standalone software that helps in meeting all the data analysis tasks like - Data Processing, Data Tabulation, WEighting, Data Visualization , Reporting, Data Transformation everything. To become a Data Scientist we need to understand R. Most if the features are free of cost.

Cons:

There are long codes if we can reduce the coding a bit and can add drag and drop features. Otherwise its a great tool.

R-Studio can save the day

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I have been able to restore data for users who have no backup and have thousands of pictures and vital data.

Pros:

The ability to image seemingly dead hard-drives and restore data is powerful. Also the ability to connect to remote systems is another great feature.

Cons:

At present, it does well with the intended purpose. I have not had any issues that I would consider to be a con.

Very capable recovery software

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: We have used this for several years to recover lost files and lost file systems for our customers.

Pros:

One of the most amazing features of this software is the ability to reconstruct failed RAID arrays. You can images the individual drives, then build the virtual array in the software. Once done, you can recovery files from the old array without it being intact. This alone makes this software invaluable, but it also routinely outperforms nearly any other software we compare it to.

Cons:

It has a slight learning curve, and it takes a little longer than most of our other recovery software options. But it works better than most, so we are ok with that.

Great Platform for R

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: Great experience, developed and deployed a lot of scripts.

Pros:

Very well integrated platform to develop scripts in R. Lots of pre installed modules really helps to automate the repetitive work which are prone to human error. Since it is open source dubugging is quite easy. More user friendly than python.

Cons:

Not very well integrated as compared to python based platforms.

Simply Amazing!

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I have made an image classifier on both, Python and R.

Pros:

I work on datasets while pursuing my ambition to be a part of Data Science. The first and foremost step is to process the given data. Earlier I used to use Pycharm for all my work but R-Studio is the one tool I missed. I realized that lately. It has already inbuilt libraries which reduce the code and hence the workload by half. All you need to do is call the given library.

Cons:

I couldn't find any flaw as such. Even if you work on Python or R, your code must be correct. Be careful about the indexing as it is different in both. Also, sometimes python helps in detailed analysis.

Great IDE for R.

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

This IDE is great for developing and data science in R. It is easy to view the environment you’re working in to check versions of packages and variables. It’s also the industry standard for R, so there are tons of online reasources.

Cons:

I frequently work on different projects, so having to constantly make a new workspace for each new project is tedious.

A perfect solution for all your data analysis problems

5.0 4 years ago

Pros:

Initially its really difficult similar to all other coding language, once understand the logic, then it will be easy like anything. we can use different packages and do all difficult statistical problems in simple commands. highly reliable and handle large number of files at a time.

Cons:

we should have the logic to use this language, by practice only we can develop it

R-Studio is a definite go to in the data recovery industry!!

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: With R-Studio being an option for our business, we are not only able to use our DDI Disk Imager for data recovery but also R-Studio. Sometimes the drive is not failed but files have just been deleted and R-Studio is the man for that job getting the deleted files back.

Pros:

R-Studio is reliable, can recover deleted files, easy to use. We use R-Studio at our data recovery business "Total Access Data Recovery" so often.

Cons:

The only con is the cost of the program but the cost of data recovery is much higher so it paid for itself.

Best Software for Statistics and Data Science

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

First of all, R is free. You can download R and R studio for free. It is widely used in statistics and data science class. It is good for tidying datasets and visualize data. It is also good to conduct statistical tests with a lot of built-in packages.

Cons:

It is not good for for loops. It will take a while to run. It is a little bit slower for machine learning stuff. I would rather use Python since it is faster.

R studio is powerful

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

I like that you can download and install various packages with powerful functions to help analyze and visualize data. Anyone can use or contribute their own packages.

Cons:

When the amount of data is huge, R studio tends to slow down or take a long time to process. Perhaps Python would be better in this case.

Rstudio Review

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I'm analyzing a survey made to investigate the labor situation of civil engineers in Honduras. Im preparing all the analyses with R

Pros:

What I like the most is that it is free. It also has a more friendly interface than other software programs like pyhton or matlab. I'm using it now for my learning in the data science area and it is very handy when you have a great amount of data

Cons:

It is easier to use excel to wrangle and clean data. However, it depends, if the amount of data is too much, excel would not have the capacity to run. For now, I'm ok by cleaning and ordering data in excel and then make my data analysis in R

If you are working in R then this is the tool.

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Overall it is a good IDE for R language and user-interface is best in it.

Pros:

The best thing is user-interface and if you are dealing with heavy code R is there for your help. Variables are pre-defined there you can use autocomplete features to make coding convenient.

Cons:

Sometimes the process gets freeze and hand and it leads to your work loss as it is not autosaved. Some features and extensions are not run in an optimized and smooth manner.

Great tool to recover files

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall the tool is great, I love the usability of the tool along with the ease to preview the files to be recovered beforehand allowing me to make sure I am recovering the right file before I do it.

Pros:

The tool is a great and easy to use tool to recover lost files from being lost forever. The user interface is great.

Cons:

The software is a paid one so there are limitations to the trial version and for use on a private capacity. The software name is the same as a widely used open source software used for the R programming language.
