AccuMed is the best!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: It has been an excellent experience. As a new practice, I was having issues with a previous EMR. An AccuMed team came in on a holiday weekend to set up my EMR, manage the usernames and passwords. I was up and running immediately. They were available to help make the transition a smooth one.

Pros:

AccuMed is a wonderful EMR system. It is easy to learn, easy to use. The team at AccuMed are extremely responsive, very helpful and answer your concerns immediately. I have used many systems but AccuMed is the best one. I highly recommend.

Cons:

There are no features that I did not like.

Forestdale Inc. review

Comments: Revenue cycle management, thus far, has been great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is responsive, on top of the work, and proactive in configuring solutions. The software development for our needs can tend to be slow. There are meetings where we come to an agreement for a deadline and find that it's missed and we need to continue to remind/prompt and then revisit the following month. In our 2+ year tenure, there have been ebbs and flows. Our current developer is better than our first. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is helpful in ensuring developer follow up.

Pros:

We like the ability to customize and create a product that fits our program.

Cons:

The product, itself, has worked generally well. We've needed to learn the various features to support more streamlined use. However, it's had good functionality and we haven't experienced major issues.

Comments: Very positive.

Pros:

User friendly, intuitive and we have successfully created innovative workflows, connections (interoperability). [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is particularly expert and has been our partner for some time.

Cons:

Less about the software than the structure/responsiveness of support/development team. Sometimes SLAs come and go. Although we have created dashboards, would love for this (business analytics/reporting) to become part of core business.

A Positive User Experience in Advanced Healthcare Management

5.0 last year

Comments: Overall, despite its learning curve, the benefits of Accumedic's excellent customer service and user-friendly interface make it a highly valuable EHR system, greatly appreciated in the healthcare management sector.

Pros:

Accumedic's customer service is exceptional, providing responsive and helpful support, which greatly enhances the overall user experience. The system's usability is top-notch, offering an intuitive and efficient interface that simplifies healthcare management tasks.

Cons:

One notable drawback of Accumedic is its steep learning curve, which may initially challenge new users, requiring significant time and effort to master its comprehensive features and capabilities.

My experience with using and working with AccuMed

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: I have worked with Accumed in more than one capacity for over 10 years - I have recently referred them to a newly licensed mental health agency - who has smoothly integrated their EHR platform with minimal issues.

Pros:

Accumed EHR and Billing system is extremely user friendly - easy to navigate and learn.

Cons:

As with any system there are sometimes "glitches" that can be disruptive to workflow - however, they are a responsive customer service team that is ready and willing to assist.

Comprehensive EHR

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: This was a streamlined EHR service that is HIPAA compliant and meets the mandate for clinics to transition to all electronic systems.

Pros:

This EHR is fairly intuitive for use and I found the customizable dashboard convenient and easily organized. There is built-in functionality for individual and group services, which is helpful and not available in all EHRs.

Cons:

I did not like that the administrative component was a separate application than the clinical practice component. There were also some glitches that occurred with a variety of functions fairly regularly but this was always addressed by customer service.

Poor customer service

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: I have to call AccuMedic A LOT... A LOT. Every person who answers is exceptionally NOT friendly. They are very short with me, interrupt me when I am speaking, and are impatient if I cannot quickly find the information they are requesting. I literally hate calling them because it's so uncomfortable. They need to hire friendlier people.

Pros:

Not much. Not at all user friendly. Quick response time to issues.

Cons:

It is always, ALWAYS crashing, glitching, etc. I have to call at least 5x per month. Customer service makes me dread calling them for anything.

Great Software & Support

5.0 9 years ago

Comments: Our behavioral health clinicians and directors can better track Treatment Plan timetable reviews and appreciate the customization features that are available to them as this creates efficiency in their individualized processes. The system allows increased documentation compliance and quality assurance oversight, ensuring billed claims are well documented. Questions and requests are answered by Accumed's skilled tech staff in prompt, comprehensive and courteous fashion. Our organization has been using the billing system for over 15 years and our staff have always had a very positive experience in having claims paid appropriately. Thankfully, these payments are posted automatically to the Accumed Account Receiveable which saves serious time.
