About QuickBooks Online Advanced
QuickBooks is an end-to-end accounting software that can grow with your business.
The system is easy to use and QuickBooks has a ton of guides and videos to help begins with just about anything. Truly accounting made easy, not to mention the dozens of app integrations available.
My only complaint is when calling customer service, I have been helped by representatives who know less than I do about their program.

Over 10 years of complete satisfaction!
Comments: 100 percent satisfied. I have been approached with offers to switch. I turn every single one of them down. QuickBooks has proven to be to be the absolute best software for me to use in this area.
Pros:
I love QuickBooks for Non-Profits! I have used this software exclusively for the past 10 years with no problems at all. I have received numerous compliments from Board Members of the accuracy and detail I provide when it comes to our financial reports. I have been told I provide the best reports they have seen (many are members of other non-profit boards). It is all accomplished with just a few clicks and the reports printed out!
Cons:
It does take a bit of getting used to. Especially when you are first setting up the system. Once it is set up, it runs along fine. One thing to make sure of is the category of the items you are entering. Otherwise, your reports will contain mis-categorized information. Be sure to check over your reports for accuracy in that area. If identified, it is a simple fix - but you must check it over.

The Best Option Out There
Comments: We were doing all of our accounting manually before and it got to a point where we could not keep up. Now none of our upcoming expenses are a surprise and we know with great accuracy what our financial position is while we are determining if an opportunity is right for us.
Pros:
I like that it is universally used so no matter how many different financial professionals from how many different companies I have to deal with they are familiar with the software so there is no learning or teaching curve there.
Cons:
The biggest flaw I would say is when a new 3rd party program comes out that works well with my business Quickbooks seems to lag behind in having some kind of integration available. Ideally I would like all my softwares so integrate with Quickbooks so that I can use the full power of the system.
QuickBooks Online Advanced Review
Comments: Automating accounts payable, receivable and general ledger is made easy by QBOA.
Pros:
QuickBooks Online Advanced streamlines accounting processes by automating workflow in real-time.
Cons:
At the moment, I am experiencing zero flaws when using QBOA.

The Sofware You Love To Hate
Comments: We have used Enterprise for years and we had to make a change because our inventory was getting out of control. Sadly, Enterprise is missing about 5 things to make their manufacturing perfect and it just doesn't look like that is ever going to happen. Accordingly, we had to try and find an MRP software and the only way it would work well was moving to QBO. This was like making a choice to either get punched in the gut or punched in the throat. Either inventory was workable or accounting was workable.
Pros:
It integrates with our current ECommerce cart and a few other programs (e.g. Zapier).
Cons:
They have radically tried to over-simplify the product. For instance, the Vendor tab being under Expenses. As every accountant knows, Vendors aren't solely about Expenses. This is just one example of how, in trying to make this product more intuitive, they have thwarted anyone with accounting experience in using it. There are so many things you cannot delete. Too many to try and list here.

Worth the money!
Comments: It has been great so far, I moved from the desktop quick books to the online advanced and it has been worth the effort to change subscriptions. I feel I am making the most out of the extra money and using all advanced features to help me manage.
Pros:
I can better customise my spreadsheets and data compared to other services that offer similar products. It just feels like I can adjust all of my information more using the online advanced and store my information and clients' information in multiple different ways.
Cons:
The pricing, being monthly seems slightly more expensive compared to other services, however, you do get your money's worth for the extra support and extra channels of using QuickBooks.

QBO Improving
Comments: We experience little downtime, despite some slowing of speeds. We're impressed with QBO at this time.
Pros:
Many new features being updated regularly. Does what we need it to do.
Cons:
Speed improvements as our file grows is very important.
Alternatives Considered:
Not Suited for Nonprofit Organizations
Comments: While we have cobbled together charts of accounts to somewhat make it useful for our organization, when we can afford accounting software made for nonprofits we will change systems. This has been a painful learning experience.
Pros:
Low cost, easy to find CPA who knows how to use it
Cons:
It may be fine for a for-profit business, but it is not well suited for nonprofit organizations that must do fund accounting.
My Encounter with QBOA in a Filled Insight
Pros:
QuickBooks Online Advanced makes it a breeze to carry out accounting projects by infusing AI which automate the workforce.
Cons:
I have never experienced any issue ever since I incorporated QBOA in our system.
Great tools for financial reports and tracking
Comments: Overall it's a must for our business to manage our finances well
Pros:
QuickBooks online helps our business be prepared for reports each quarter
Cons:
Sometimes the options can be overwhelming but there's always help.
My Review of QuickBooks Online Advanced
Pros:
Automating over 95% of manual accounting procedures is what I like most about QuickBooks Online Advanced since I save time.
Cons:
QuickBooks Online Advanced has no notable bug at the moment.

Quickbooks Online Advanced
Comments: There are so many reasons why we love working on Quickbooks online. The credit card processor working through our website, the mobile app and card processor, as well as the integration to WordPress and to help add automation to our financial recording.
Pros:
There are so many features to this software, but my favorite is definitely the online platform. I am able to see the progress of the business through my phone or iPad and not just sitting behind a desk. So much business is done on the road or moving around and having the app easily accessible I can always be in touch with what is going on in the company.
Cons:
Setting up the new company file was difficult. We were moving from QuickBooks desktop and it had to much data (20 years worth) that we were not able to compress it then upload the information to the new platform. We were able to do batch uploads which did allow us to preserve some data but it did make the transition a little more difficult than it needed to be.
Veteran User of QBO
Comments: Overwhelmingly positive. I find it very intuitive. It does the job and I enjoy using the software. It doesn't frustrate me.
Pros:
The reporting is good, the system is robust, the bank rec works, a lot can be automated, I use the payroll feature too which saves a lot of time.
Cons:
The pension connection keeps not sinking so I manually have to go to the NEST website to enter in the numbers.

Great!
Comments: I like how easy, reliable, and multi-functional QBO Advanced is. I use it for a client and it saves me time and money.
Pros:
I like the many features QBO Advanced has to offer. It saves time and money. It is great for growing business. It is easy to integrate with many other apps if needed.
Cons:
The least I like would be the price, however, with the many features it has to offer - it definitely is a must for a growing business with more complex workflows.
Alternatives Considered:
Highly recommend
Comments: I enjoy using this software and have saved a lot of time with bringing all things into one location. Plus handing over reports and data to the accountant has been a breeze since using this.
Pros:
This product optimized our invoicing, inventory, client information and more into one location which saved on price and saves a lot of time.
Cons:
I do not love the price per user and would like to see a group discount or something.
Alternatives Considered:
Great step up from QB desktop
Comments: QB Advanced has been a great addition to our workplace. I am the main user and I like the ease of reports and other functions.
Pros:
The product is user friendly. It is easy to navigate and find all the features. The tech support are always friendly, fast and always help with any questions I have had.
Cons:
There are many features that we do not use, but I'm sure would be helpful to other companies.

Revolutionize the Way You Manage Your Finances With QBO
Pros:
I love how it is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to manage my finances without having an extensive background in accounting. Also, I can access my financial information from anywhere, at any time, as long as there is an internet connection.
Cons:
There is nothing I liked least about QBOA.
Ubiquitous and necessary, but far from perfect
Comments: It is a necessary evil.
Pros:
Online access is convenient. Most clients are already using it. Easy to get accountant access. Bank feeds are superior to the desktop product. Integrates with many different tools through Zapier. Works with a large array of direct 3rd party add ins.
Cons:
It lacks basic and essential features such as reliable backup/restoration of data, month end closing tools, etc. forcing us to pay third parties to make up for what QBO lacks. The receipt capture is too limited and is very poor at matching transactions if it doesn’t automatically recognize a receipt. The system is extremely nit picky about which type of transaction you are using in the moment. This is not an issue with QB desktop as you can easily enter almost any type of transaction from the register without the need to tell it what you are doing in advance. The product does not often get substantive improvements and yet the subscription fees are very high and are increasing over time. Pay more, get the same product.

Quickbooks Review
Comments: Experience has been great and very professional so far!
Pros:
I loved how automated my invoices and billing became using quickbooks. I enjoy the professional look and easy use of the platform. It made it also easier to build and make expenses report. The customer service was also really good as I was able to schedule a call within the first 5 min on the website
Cons:
Right now, I need a bit more experience on the platform. However, I would say that the price are decent and good for what I am using. Nothing negative to say about the platform.

A powerful tool to track accounting and financial reporting
Comments: Overall my experience has been good with Quickbooks online advanced. The product has all the features needed to run a business, get the reporting and also connecting with useful apps developed by different partners. Especially during this unprecedented times when online presence is fundamental QBO Advances provides access to not the only an accounting platform but also easy integration to other partners like Third party delivery, PoS, e-commerce, ACH Payments, etc.
Pros:
The software is designed to simplify the journey by increasing the quality of the data input during the booking of the transactions and eliminating common mistakes during the process of bookkeeping. I like how the bank feed makes easier every bank reconciliation and provides a lot of information directly from the bank statement.
Cons:
I do not like that the migration from desktop to online is not easy and the online version has some missing features compared with the desktop version. I also do not like the Inventory module does not have all the information for food products, like expiration date or lot control
It's All About The Extras
Pros:
QBO Advanced includes the analytics through dashboards and Fathom. These are powerful tools and very useful for management. The Enhanced Custom Fields are valuable for our company as we are able to capture information that can be kept in QBO with the client instead of having several spreadsheet to keep this information. The Customize Access By Role is helpful for us because we are able to then develop UI from our software into QBO allowing our developer to have access to QBO but not have access to the entire company file. Feedback is very vital for us the user. As we find something that could make our jobs easier, or a way of getting information out you can always enter the feedback in for Intuit's development team to review. I have experienced that some feedback has been addressed, which adds value for us because we know that the software is becoming a tool that will do all that we need it to do.
Cons:
We lost a couple reports when we converted over from desktop, but Intuit is constantly working on enhancing the software.
Quickbooks
Comments: Overall I am impressed with the software, I just do not like being held ransom by having no means of reviewing the history of our accounting records electronically. We can only review static, saved documentation
Pros:
I like the fact that it is fairly accurate in predicting what account should be used once it has encountered the same transaction from a bank account or credit card.
Cons:
The constantly increasing price but no new features to justify the increased cost. I think the thing I dislike the most is that the system will not allow the User to take a backup copy. We rely on their cloud and if we stop using their software, we cannot run or produce an electronic backup that we can review without continuing to pay for the software subscription. It is imperative that reams of reports and ledgers are and no electronic format that we can review our records.

Quickbooks Online is great!
Comments: Very pleased
Pros:
I use QBO daily. I appreciate this as our main payroll and accounting system. Quickbooks easily integrates with our third-party websites and needs; eg. credit card processing, Paypal, as well as our donor base as we are a 501c3 non profit. I did not have a background in accounting or business management. Quickbooks Online made it very easy to learn how this function works. QBO Customer service always goes above and beyond assisting any needs. Minimal downtime and errors with this software. Very Happy.
Cons:
Over the years QBO has made many advancements and received customer feedback for a quicker, simpler way to run and access reports. I do not have any issues using this software.
Great product for SMBs and growing enterprises.
Comments: Good! 7-8/10. It's not perfect & may not be the best fit for massive organizations, but you can get a lot of mileage from it if you spend time with the software & get comfortable with the range and depth of features available to Advanced users. Always play with the beta features!
Pros:
QBO Advanced is designed to be an all-in-one finance & accounting solution. There are larger-scale ERPs out there, e.g. Oracle, ION, but Intuit definitely has the market cornered on out-of-the-box F&A software. Because Intuit has so many components available, the software is also modular to a certain degree & admins can turn on/off features as needed.
Cons:
Intuit does not play nice with 3rd party integrations. There IS a developer portal if you're technical enough to do API work, but we've found software add-ons like Zapier are often necessary to build task automation into the manual steps of many QBO processes (which you will need if your organization works at scale & does not have a large accounting team).
Alternatives Considered:
Good standard accounting solution
Comments: Overall it's a good bang for the buck by providing a rather robust accounting program for a mid-size non-profit. I wish they could do multi-company consolidations all from within QuickBooks and not having to export to Excel.
Pros:
Quickbooks has great learning tools and resources to acquire knowledge on how to use their platform. It can take some time getting used to everything (as it does with any system), but once you get the hang of it, it is generally pretty easy to navigate and set things up.
Cons:
Their customer service is usually pretty helpful for the technical pieces but we had some issues with our billing and they were a complete mess to work with. I guess as long as you are paying your bill, that's all they care about and don't want to waste their time figuring out billing issues. Also, there are a few limitations in a some of their reports that don't seem to make sense and even stumped some of the customer service agents that I had talked to.
Affordable, realiable and easy to use
Comments: Accounting made easy even for those bookkeepers or accountants new to the software.
Pros:
QuickBooks for nonprofits can handle small nonprofits and large ones as well. The system is easy to use and QuickBooks has a ton of guides and videos to help begins with just about anything. Truly accounting made easy, not to mention the dozens of app integrations available.
Cons:
My only complaint is when calling customer service, I have been helped by representatives who know less than I do about their program. I just hand up and call again to talk to someone else.
