Comments: My overall Experience has been really amazing . Can't tell you how much I am addicted to this tool . It just makes my day every time I open a file on this . The classic UI also is one of the main reasons for me to still be using this after so many years !

Pros:

As an IT Organization individual, Notepad++ is assisting me increasingly more with the everyday work. Some things which I like the most are, 1. Cons:

The main issue with Notepad++ is that it does not support MacOS . Also , I noticed that Notepad++ struggles with big binary files. It might get slower, or messier when dealing with those .

Notepad not better than Word

Comments: Used to creates a list , a paragraph, or essay. But not good on editing

Pros:

Mayne a first creation before word.. It can however be used to make a list and shrinked in the corner on the front page of your laptop or computer.

Cons:

Its nothibg like Word misiinh a lot of action.

Comments: My job would be so much more tedious without Notepad++. Otherwise difficult tasks like finding syntax errors or comparing files is made easy with it.

Pros:

Responsiveness of app, vast library of plug-ins, find and replace feature is very powerful, block-comment, line comment, XPath finder, recognising syntax for almost every language - it is ESSENTIAL for anyone in tech.

Cons:

If you have a lot of files open, it can be difficult to make sure you compare the two you intended when using the compare plug-in.

Easy to edit or search data in files

Comments: I love using notepad ++ . It has made life easy to view files.

Pros:

Searching algorithm and multiple language support.

Cons:

Sometimes unsaved data gets cleaned up but this is not the case 90 percent of times.

Comments: Notepad++ is a lightweight application that requires very less memory storage which makes it easy to use and it opens very quickly with very less loading time.

Pros:

It's a very low memeory application. It supports almost all programming languages. I use it for editing the code and I really like the ease with which editing can be done because of the clean User Interface

No features to dislike. I like all the features the product offers

My experience with Notepad++

Comments: It's the first free Windows Dev tool I used when I was in College and have been using it for 20+ years.

Pros:

Free open source and lots of plugins. Great community.

Cons:

Windows Only. It would be nice if MacOs or Linux supported

Comments: I am not a coder so I really don't use the product to the full, but as a notepad it far exceeds any other that's out there.

Pros:

The #1 reason I love Notepad++ is that it keeps my notes without saving them, perfect for when I am in a rush or don't pay attention to my battery life.

Cons:

There is not a Mac or Linux version out there.

Comments: Overall experience has been very good. I just feel like there are a lot more features I could be using but I just don't have the time to learn.

Pros:

The best thing about this is that I can run macros and it supports XML. Makes my work faster.

Cons:

Notepad++ has just so many features that I feel like I'm not using all that I could. Perhaps I need to take classes to use it to its full potential.

Best source code management tool for Beginners

Comments: I am using 1 to 2 Years Notepad++ for from the beginning learning point. Because here you can able to run every task one by one So, you no need to change the new files and it' run in completely web so need space n your laptop.

Pros:

Notepad++ very simple to use and easy to authenticate. This code editor completely suitable for beginner. Because here you can able to run very set of code separately. this is very perfect editor for all programming language is specially Python.

Cons:

It's not comfortable for expert developer it's only suitable for beginners. Source code management is little bit hard.

Pros:

I use Notepad++ daily for notes. The most important to me that in one window I can work with multiple files in different tabs. It increases my productivity.

Cons:

Cons: works only on Windows platform. And also one downside that it doesn't detect mistakes.

Pros:

Not only its free but it also gives a lot of plugins to install to compare for example. It is user friendly and a better option then window notepad.

Cons:

It will be a game changer if this tool is made available for MacOS. The options are good and with more working Mac's in Windows sercers / vm's it

A classic that still works

Pros:

Notepad++ is always evolving, and that is what I like the most. It has a great nostalgic community but also it is not lacking functionalities. Even there are some plugins that are specific for Notepad++ and can not be found for other platforms.

Cons:

I am a true nostalgic and I love Notepad++, maybe I could complain about the update system, that could be improved.

Comments: I have been using Notepad ++ from past 10 years. This is a life saver for us as it offers tons of features and addon which paid note pad apps does not offer. I used this on daily basis to compare configuration, replace strings and also it uses less memory.

Comments: Overall its very good experience using this tool. It help in development as well as managing text files.

Pros:

Its very helpful tool. It help me to write code of javascript, Html, css, Json and many more languages and provide format also as epr language which is good. And one more good thing is it store all files data even if we don't save that file. And we can install many plugin as per our need.

Cons:

Comparing text with this tool it bit difficult. If we open lots of files then it slow down and some time Stop responding.

It's filter and search function to replace a string of text or look for hidden codes in normal files

The Notepad we always needed

Pros:

Notepad++ is as the name sugests, notepad but better. And we really like it, it makes editing some configuration file easy and fast. The Macros make the most tedious task easy.

Cons:

The Theming could be better, and the overall ui feels dated.

Comments: I use NPP for developing applications in PHP, Perl, Python, Javascript. Also I use it for processing some text data, comparing files, etc.

Pros:

Mostly I like code highlighting, themes, auto backups, plugins, performance, ability to work with huge files, flexible search/replace with regex support.

Cons:

Some plugins don't have 64-bit version. NPP is not full replacement of IDE, it has no advanced debug features, but for scripting languages is has all that I need.

Great replacement for Notepad

Comments: Much better when original notepad even one of Windows 11

Marks all the places of changes in current session. Remembers all involved files. Recognizes coding language Colorizing commands FREE

Cons:

Non so far was found in that application.
