About Google Drive
Google Drive is a cloud-based storage platform that allows users and teams to store, access, and share files in one secure place.
Google drive is extremely easy to use, their collaborations features are amazing, the fact that everything is immediately saved on the cloud is the best.
The only trouble I've had with Google Drive has to do with the windows software which has caused me some problems.

The Cloud Companion You Cannot Live Without!
Comments: a generally positive experience, especially when I valued accessibility, collaboration, and integration with other Google services. Its user-friendly interface and seamless syncing make file management straightforward.
Pros:
Google Drive is cloud-based, allowing users to access their files from any device with an internet connection.
Cons:
The 15 GB of free storage is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, which can be limiting.
Google Drive--A Must Have
Comments: Excellent. It is always available, runs well, and works on every device since light compared to competitor
Pros:
Easy navigation, color coding, Google slides, docs and sheets are simpler to work with than Office products--and the basic version is FREE!
Cons:
nothing really other than it costs extra for more storage beyond the basic 15GB
Useful but not for everyone
Comments: Up and down I would say. I hate using it as it cannot download larger files, keeps zipping things and also tries to scan everything.
Pros:
Well it is tuned towards people who are not tech savvy.
Cons:
It has the limitation on downloading large files to 2GB

Google Drive - My Go-To Cloud Storage System for Personal, Work, and Business
Comments: I've used Google Drive for years, and anticipate that I will continue to do so for many years to come. It makes it easy for me to separate my cloud files between personal, work, and business. Google Drive remains to be my go-to cloud storage system, and I don't anticipate that I will switch to anywhere else.
Pros:
I love being able to seamlessly store my Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and other files all in once space. It helps that all of the files I create with the Google apps are automatically saved into my Google Drive. Sharing files is also intuitive and quick. I should also note that it's easy to swap between Google Accounts to access one's different Google Drives. For instance, I have a separate one for personal use, my work, and my business.
Cons:
My biggest gripe is Google Drive's sorting system. If you don't have a proper file/folder organization system set up yourself, the Drive becomes easily disorganized. I've had my personal Drive since high school, and it can be cumbersome to find certain files given how many I have. Thankfully, I have a better file/folder organization system in place for my work and business Drives.
Solid competitor and bundled with Google Workplace accounts makes it a goto choice
Comments: A very workable tool that competes against the likes of OneDrive and box. Has all the features needed for a team to share internally and externally. Compare your needs to your Workplace subscription to make sure you get the right options purchased.
Pros:
Included as part of the Google Suite package which makes it a very cost effective, large bucket of storage. Has thick client plugins for all the major OSs to make daily workflow integration easier.
Cons:
Getting a Team Shared google drive is an upgraded Workplace Suite subscription from google. That should be standard offer.

The best tool to organize files in the cloud
Pros:
I am a huge fan of Google Drive that I have been using for years. I use it to organize and archive all my files and to work in a team on files in the cloud. Very simple to use and super performing even on mobile. For me, an indispensable tool.
Cons:
The search function doesn't work very well, sometimes it's difficult to find the files again.
Alternatives Considered:
Good file storage
Comments: Solid - I recommend Google Drive for anyone looking to back up their files and keep them available online.
Pros:
Super easy to use, great for those who need simple tools on in one place, mobile application is great.
Cons:
Doesn't work well if you're interacting with people outside of your google workspace.
Reliable and versatile cloud storage platform
Comments: We deal with many files and Google Docs from our students. Google Drive helps us store them and access them from any location, which is quite convenient. It saves time and allows easy access and collaboration with my team.
Pros:
I like Google Drive because of the generous storage they give everybody after creating a Gmail account. Although we pay for more storage, the free package is attractive enough. It is easy to store and share files whether you use Google Docs, Slides, Google Sheets, or Word. The search feature is quick and fairly accurate.
Cons:
When you safe a file, it might take some time for it to reflect online when you try accessing it from another device. It could be a syncing issue or an internet connection problem, but the file will eventually be stored safely. We are also concerned about the privacy and security of the stored files.

Incredibly Useful for Team
Pros:
Easy collaboration. Makes working with other team members seamless.
Cons:
integration with MacOs is less than ideal.
Google Drive is amazing
Comments: Amazing, I love using google drive and always recommend it to people.
Pros:
- Being able to work on projects simultaneously - Automatic saving so I don’t need to worry about losing projects - User friendly
Cons:
Granted I am not great at using excel in general but I do like excel more than google sheets
Practicalities and challenges of Google Drive.
Comments: Google Drive is very practical and reliable with great access and integration. The storage limit and organization could be improved, but it remains essential in my day-to-day life.
Pros:
I really like the cloud storage, Google Workspace integration, real-time collaboration, easy sharing, automatic backup, compatibility, fast search, and security.
Cons:
The cons that I didn't like were the free storage limit of only 15 GB, the need for an internet connection, the sync speed, file organization, version control, privacy, collaboration limitations, and limited integration with other software.
Alternatives Considered:
Google Drive has made my work much easier
Comments: very friendly and lots of storage space.
Pros:
it's very handy and convenient to use as the cloud storage space and sharing files to colleagues and friends.
Cons:
it's rather difficult to find a particular document from the folder.
Alternatives Considered:
I would recommend this!
Comments: My overall experience with Google Drive was positive. If I suddenly had to go without it in my professional or personal life it would probably slow me down. I would recommend using Google Drive. There's no reason to pay extra when there's a great service available for less.
Pros:
I would recommend Google Drive mainly because it's so affordable and still dependable. I've never lost anything or had any major problems. I've never been worried about running out of room which is a huge relief. I think it's very easy to use, and usually it's the default application on my devices. When I click share on a file Google drive pops up as the first option. I was able to easily find the backup and automatic backup settings. It's also easy for me to control who has access.
Cons:
I've only had one problem. Recently when logging in to Google Drive, Google required that I change my password even though I'd had no problems logging in or anything remotely like that. That was really frustrating because I couldn't even change it back to the old one later on. I like to use one secure password across most of my accounts so that I don't risk losing access. I hope this was a one off and doesn't happen again.

I store all my business items with drive
Comments: It’s been great. I use it for everything. I have some personal files set up, but it’s mainly for my business. I share files with people when needed for marketing and public relations purposes, I store all of my social media images and videos here, and I do store some documents and sometimes share documents with others or they share them with me via Google Drive. It’s the thing from my business these days.
Pros:
I like that I can safely insecurely store all of my photos, videos, anything connected to my business and some personal items in one spot. Also, it’s nice that there’s a lot of storage space and that it’s easy to send files to people to grant them access as needed. I use it as my main storage source.
Cons:
Nothing yet! It works well. Really haven’t had any problems. I hope that I won’t run out of storage one day, I will have to cross that bridge when I get to it!
Integrating Google Drive with other software is a breeze!
Comments: Very intuitive, easy to use, clear access to files, great ability to integrate with existing software for other programs!
Pros:
The ease of which Drive integrates with my other software- Practice Panther, gmail, etc.! I can easily save documents to my Google Drive with the linked toggle buttons, which were easy to integrate with my existing software. Now I can access my entire client database safely, from anywhere!
Cons:
The only issues I have are that it can be cumbersome to link documents in emails, and selecting "attachment" vs. "link" can be annoying, as anything linked requires permission to be proactively granted and not every client finds that easy to do.
Insights from Years of Regular Years.
Comments: My overall experience with Google Drive a excellent. Except just one point of less drive storage in the free plan, rest all features are great. I really like how multiple Google services can be integrated with Google Drive. I use these for my day to day work. This really have made my day to day work very easy. I can work on the same file from across my devices.
Pros:
I have liked the following about Google Drive - 1. Mobility - I can have access to my files while on the move. 2. Availability - I can work on my files or access them from anywhere across the world. 3. Collaboration - I can collaborate with many people to work on the same file at the same time. 4. Back-Up - I really like the back up features of Google Drive. I can back up my files here. 5. Security - I like the security of the data, that comes with Google Drive platform. 6. Versions (File Version History) - This is the best part of Google Drive that I love the most. I can access the changes made to the file by me or anyone else through version history.
Cons:
Though I really like using Google Drive, but I feel that 15GB of free storage is kind of less. Given the file size now a days and other Google services, a cumulative storage of 15GB seems to be less.
The Best Collaboration and Productivity Tool with Powerful Cloud Storage and Sync Capabilities
Comments: Goole Drive is not only a generous cloud storage but it is also a powerful collaboration and productivity tool. The real time file and data sync makes it possible for all team members and different teams to work from anywhere in the world on the same project. Its chat tool is also quite interesting. The chat makes it super easy for all colleagues to exchange information and stay in touch while working on different documents.
Pros:
Generous cloud storage and the way it makes collaboration so easy.
Cons:
Nothing really. I like Google Drive a lot.
Smooth and easy file sharing
Comments: Overall experience with Google Drive has been amazing. It made file sharing very smooth and the size and quality of the files (documents, picture, video, etc) remains same. Once you change the permission, the effect takes almost immediately after refreshing which is fantastic. It saves a lot of time.
Pros:
I love how easy it is to share files and folders in a organizational level with Google Drive. Also its security feature which allows the admin to set permission with whom we share the file/folder (Ex. view, edit ).
Cons:
i have not faced any issues so far. It is so easy and simple to use.

Google drive is a real life saver sometimes.
Comments: one of the best experiences i have had with google or any apps.
Pros:
I absolutely love every single feature and run down of google drive.
Cons:
there is not one thing i can think of that i dislike about google drive and its performance.
Google Drive is not just a place to backup your files, it's access to your files from all your devices, all the time!
Comments: Once you know, you know. I've used Google Drive for the past 9 years. During the learning curve, I was reluctant to use it, but once I understood how it worked, it's been my go-to for file sharing, backups, and storage.
Pros:
Accessibility! Whether I'm on my desktop, laptop, or even my phone, I have access to all my files, all the time.
Cons:
I often use MS Publisher for my job. The only con I see (probably not on Google's end) is that I can't preview my publisher files while in Google Drive. To do that, I have to download the file to the device I'm using. It's not the end of the world, just a mild inconvenience at times.
An ideal digital storage unit
Comments: Very positive. We use Google Drive to house vast amounts of data, both internal and external, and it is effectively both a drop box and an immense storage area
Pros:
Ease of use, the ability to control access and provide different layers from automatic (everyone within X organisation) to broad (anyone with a link) to individual (specific users)
Cons:
The way the file view initially appears can be disorienting as one might expect it to open within a File view but frequently it seems to open a "last used" perspective which is often not desirable

Google Drive will take you places
Comments: I use Google Drive for personal and business. It is a great repository for documents, files, photos and videos. It also has the benefit of being a part of a company that will likely outlive me, so my information should have a home for many years.
Pros:
Accessible from anywhere and has a full suite of apps to help with team collaboration.
Cons:
Permissions can be an issue when sharing large documents.

Alternatives Considered:
Google Drive is the BEST
Comments: It hasn't caused any issues for me. I have no complaints at this time.
Pros:
I can access anything and everything using my drive. I can monitor it at any time. I can look at my files anytime.
Cons:
It's high price right now... If there was a way to get it cheap - I would.

Maybe just a tweak
Comments: Overall its a great program, just needs a little tweaking.
Pros:
I loved having all my important documents an photos all in one place
Cons:
I really didnt like the amount of spam pictures i would recieve if i had my nearby share on. It was an obscene amount.
My experience with Drive
Comments: My experience with google drive is a good one, I started to use it as just storage for pictures but then found that it can be used for more.
Pros:
The multiple tools you have within. because I use some of them alot and create documents with Drive
Cons:
sometimes the loading times, take too much time.
