I really liked my indeed experience

4.0 6 months ago

Comments: Overall, my experience with Indeed has been positive. The platform provides a wide range of job opportunities and features that are user-friendly and intuitive. However, there were some issues with customer support response times that could be improved. Nonetheless, indeed remains a valuable tool for job seekers and employers alike.

Pros:

What I appreciate most about Indeed is its user-friendly interface and comprehensive job search functionalities, which make it incredibly easy to find and apply for relevant opportunities.

Cons:

What I liked least about Indeed was the customer support experience. While the platform itself is robust and effective, I found the customer service response times to be slower than expected, and the resolution process could be more proactive and efficient.

A Great Platform to Browse for Jobs - Indeed.com

5.0 last month New

Comments: I really like Indeed.com. I hope they will remain a free resource for apply to jobs. I find it a very valuable resource.

Pros:

I like that it is a free platform and you can find jobs within your local area. Also, you can upload your resume and also allow the employer and recruiter to search your public resume. If you don't want your resume to be viewed by everyone online. You can also make it private. Your resume will only been seen those who you wish to view your resume.

Cons:

In my opinion, I believe Indeed.com needs a website revamp. All though I like the minimalist appearance and it is not clutter with content. Overall, I find it is my goto platform if I search for a job. I use Indeed before I search for other job posting platforms.

Best Job Posting Platform Overall!

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: My overall experience with indeed has been 7/10. I spent months fighting for my employer account back after a mistake that someone in my company made. Indeed was very hard to get in touch with until I didn’t stop calling or giving up…it’s hard to actually talk to a human at indeed. Other than that, my experience has been great! I’ve made several hires on the application.

Pros:

Indeed had access to a very large candidate pool, allowing you to make hiring easier than other job applications.

Cons:

Some jobs get flagged easily by indeed and they offer no insight as to why or how that happened. Some of the people that use indeed mass-report jobs because they think they are “scam post” but they aren’t.

High visibility of your job ads

4.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: Excellent platform that helped me find quality applicants

Pros:

High visibility. Large database of applicants. Easy for applicants to reach you. High visibility of reviews of your business.

Cons:

The email that generates for applicants cannot be used for google videos, so you need to ask them a real email to send them the link. Also you need to repost your ad periodically to have it more visible.

MAXIMIZING USING INDEED

5.0 last month New

Comments: It is very beneficial to use indeed given the fact that there is easy access, and resources for both job seekers and employers .

Pros:

Indeed is a widely used platform used by job seekers and employers alike . indeed is User friendly, The interface is straightforward, and the features enables users to apply with a single click for certain jobs. Users are alerted via email for specific job criteria, when new opportunities match their interests. There is a way of reviewing on the indeed platform, from current and former employees, which can provide valuable insights into company culture, salary ranges, and workplace conditions. Indeed also provides tools for building resume . Candidate Pool on Indeed has millions of active users, which increases the chances of finding qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs for free or choose paid options to boost their listings.

Cons:

Given its popularity, many candidates apply for the same positions, which can make it harder to stand out. Some listings may not be legitimate, and job seekers need to exercise caution. due to the large volume of applicants, sorting through unqualified candidates can be time-consuming even with Indeed’s filtering tools. Paying to post on indeed can be costly , free job postings tend to receive less visibility. Indeed doesn’t offer in-depth profile information as some professional networks (like LinkedIn), which can make it harder for employers to understand a candidate’s full background.

Comments: I've used Indeed for 10 years throughout my early career.

Pros:

It is my go to when I need to find jobs, I like that there is a mobile version so I can always stay on top of jobs available in my area. I also like that I can see what an average yearly salary in my area of expertise is.

Cons:

I wish there were more jobs available in my area, but that isn't Indeed's fault.

Indeed will be your best ally in finding a better employer!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Indeed is a lovely platform to be in touch with employers and craft and update a professional resume. They could, however, hold employers responsible to post an accurate salary and permanently ban any employers that violate the policy, as to give more power to potential employees using the website.

Pros:

I love the ability to easy craft and update a resume, the chat feature with potential employers, and the prompt response most employers give. One time I got a job offer in less than a half hour of applying for a job.

Cons:

Every job listing should have to list an exact starting salary and not a large range or absent information. If an employer is of high quality and cares about its employees, they will post their salary because they know it is fair. The few employers that don't post accurate salary ranges come off as red flags to me because it seems as if they are trying to economically take advantage of unsuspecting people. Indeed could raise its standards for employers posting listings in this way and help everyday workers advocate for themselves by seeing an accurate salary upfront before wasting time with a potentially exploitative employer.

Comments: I am very pleased with Indeed. My job would be considerably more difficult without it.

Pros:

I love the simplicity of the platform. It is extremely easy to navigate and execute tasks.

Cons:

I can't think of anything bad about the platform. It really does help me on a daily basis. Perhaps better pricing can be considered.

Great portal for Job search and Job posting

5.0 last year

Pros:

Indeed provides a vast database of job listings from various industries and locations, making it a one-stop destination for job seekers to find opportunities. Users can set up job alerts based on their criteria, such as job title, location, and salary range, to receive notifications about relevant job openings.

Cons:

Indeed has faced issues with fraudulent job listings and scams. Some job postings may be misleading or fraudulent, potentially leading job seekers to apply for non-existent positions or fall victim to scams.

Used to Love It...now it's too expensive

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: It's been great for many years, but it's time to move on to another site.

Pros:

I always get candidates. It's been a reliable place to go for finding applicants.

Cons:

It's grown to cost far to much for a small business to use! Features anyone used to have access to for free, you now have to pay and then pay some more. It's $100+ per month to use Indeed Resumes to invite people to apply for your job. To post a job in my business category they suggest over $1,000 per month to run an ad and get a decent number of applications. That's just out of reach for a small business like mine! It's too bad, because it's been such a reliable source for me to find help for so many years. I also do not like that employees can review you as an employer, but you cannot review the employee on Indeed. We have had disgruntled employees who were fired for not showing up to work give us poor reviews on Indeed. We cannot reply to the reviews, provide feedback on why the employee is no longer employed at our business, or warn other employers that the candidate had a poor performance.

“Indeed” you’ll be satisfied with Indeed

4.0 last year

Comments: If it weren’t for Indeed I would have never found the job I’m at now. The ease of use, comfort level of my information’s security and resume builder made my overall experience amazing. Being out of work is not easy and the Indeed team made it a breeze to get back into the job market!!!

Pros:

The program is super simple to use. I was able to get a resume created in no time and was able to download it to my files for future use.My mind was blown at how many jobs there were on here and Indeed helped me find the right one!!

Cons:

Some of the jobs would state that they would be local but would be in states away. I think this may of happened once or twice in a year so it was a minor con. Apart from that it was a great application !!

Great app to work with applying

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: It was a great experience. I would recommend it to others, especially if you are or are not applying it’s nice to have it available in case another opportunity comes along.

Pros:

I really enjoy how easy this platform is with applying. It has this upload your resume section where it makes it easier applying and signing up. It even lines you up to suggestions on what categories best fit your “profile”

Cons:

It was a little hard to navigate at first (maybe since I realized I need to upload my resume vs just typing it all in kinda “moved” over to fill in) but than was able to over filter with my selections such as from my area et.
