Great Product with Great Service

Comments: Since day one its been a great experience

Pros:

After spending some time with SharePoint Live Tiles feel into our lap .It has really helped us build out or site and reach out end goal even faster than anticipated if doing it on our own. Their customer support is also great and everyone really seems to want to help.

Cons:

If unfamiliar with SharePoint's back end some of the features offered may be confusing or hard to use. Their database of knowledge however will help you bridge that gap

LiveTiles has delivered from day one

Comments: Overall, LiveTiles delivers very well as does it's support team and everybody involved. I can't say enough about how well the LiveTiles has developed around community needs which really helps to solidify their product as people feel like their thoughts and ideas are listened to. The success of LiveTiles in a such a short time shouldn't be overlooked - there's a reason the initial product line took off and continues to grow.

Pros:

The biggest plus to LiveTiles is the ease of use. Though Sharepoint is a tremendous product with the ability to do just about everything, including make your morning coffee and hire staff, it really doesn't have a favorable UI. Unfortunately, this single item can derail an entire deployment. LiveTiles does a very good job of filling that gap and giving companies the look and useable they want.

Cons:

The only con is that LiveTiles has yet to offer an option to integrate with the Modern Sharepoint side. I think part of that reason is that the modern side is a bit easier to use and ultimately LiveTiles is has to compete with it, which wasn't in their initial plans. I do think, however, that's a gap that will need to be addressed which they could use to their advantage.

Ease of use and not needing as much custom development, and also allowing power users to create sites in Livetiles

Reporting and analytics can use some refinement

LiveTiles Makes Customization in SharePoint Easy and Satisfying

Comments: We were in the process of redesigning our intranet from scratch. We wanted a lot of specific personal information and views that general SharePoint online was unable to deliver to us at the time. Some of that functionality has come in, but that just makes our experience using LiveTiles that much better as we get to take advantage of multiple styles/uses. The whole process from contract to build to publish was simple and easy. They are very straightforward and very communicative and available. I never felt left behind or that they weren't listening to any concerns I had. Overall, this is a fantastic product by a great company and I'm very happy to be one of their customers. My users don't know how much they are spoiled to get the type of info in the views they do without the high cost of custom development. The Tiles that are available are widely varying and extremely customizable. I doubt I would get the value of my dollar th e same elsewhere.

Pros:

I enjoy the ease of use to drag and drop building blocks on any page I create, from tiny web parts to custom code to native SharePoint apps/parts, I get to play with it all.

Cons:

It can sometimes be hard to line things up correctly as there is no snap-to grid and nested rows actually build on each other even if you have no padding enabled on the rows/columns, so you may have to play with padding for some rows/columns or put in blank spacers.

Easy to use/ Great for User Adoption

Comments: Customer Service is amazing and very responsive to issues.

Pros:

One of the biggest pros is being able to fully customize my intranet home page and connect to data all throughout Sharepoint.

Cons:

More communication on the updates and changes to environment.

LiveTiles is a solid solution

Comments: Overall LiveTiles has been great. The support team is helpful and the platform has served its purpose for us.

Pros:

We have found that using LiveTiles has allowed our company to better organize our SharePoint. Being able to make SharePoint look good is one thing, but we have so many pages and web apps, we really needed help on the organizational side. LiveTiles has worked.

Cons:

Sometimes getting tiles to function the way I want them to is a challenge.

Sharepoint Finally Shines

Comments: We found LiveTiles by chance while searching for a decent combination of add-ons to make our intranet using sharepoint as simple as possible. They have all the pieces we wanted in one products, was easy to setup and we quickly dumped our old drab looking 1980ish sharepoint site for a beautiful and usable responsive intranet site. We couldn't be more happy with this product. It even resolve our problem getting Microsoft's own PowerBI plugin working, and we now just use theirs instead.

Pros:

Ease of Use, Simple Installation, Lots of Updates & Great Price

Cons:

Updates sometimes take a while to show up

A great Product

Comments: We encourage all our users to use this rather than developing the pages using other developer frameworks.

Pros:

Easy to use. Able to lock the customization for non-owners,

Cons:

Unable to set up templates, unable to export and use it at different sites

LiveTiles Intranet

Pros:

Easy drag-and-drop interface allows you to create beautiful pages quickly.

Cons:

There are some quirks you have to just get used to. Not all features work correctly 100% of the time.

Transform Your Company With LiveTiles

Pros:

The autonomy and the empowerment the software provides. Our employees are now able to do things that they could never do prior. This has shown our organization something new and innovative and enhanced the tool set we provide our employees. Also, the BOT platform and the ease of creation and deployment has raised our bar for technology, collaboration, and information retrieval.

Cons:

I do wish there was even more functionality or customization available with some of the tiles.

Finally, we have a way to manage our project content

Comments: We needed a way to manage in-house innovation. We wanted a central location to direct interested resources and pool content. SharePoint is an obvious answer but users complained that it is not intuitive or engaging. Layering a Livetiles frontend to the SharePoint experience guides users to important content and improves their engagement with the process.

Pros:

Livetiles gave us a way to improve functionality of our SharePoint. We updated our SharePoint sites with an attractive frontend that looks like a custom web app. It makes the SharePoint experience more intuitive and our users actually engage with it.

Cons:

Livetiles is easy to use but I have to admit -> the more you know about web design and scripting, the more you will get out of the product. The learning curve is steeper than advertised, but once you get the hang of it, it is really easy.

LiveTiles is modern way of creating digital workspace

Pros:

LiveTiles is by far the most modern way of creating a digital workspace for our internal communication requirements.

Cons:

LiveTiles needs to improve their infrastructure that is related to internal communications.

I wouldn't build SharePoint without LiveTiles!

Comments: Excellent. Everytime I contact LiveTiles, the response rate and quality of attention I get has always been positive. The entire team at LiveTiles really try to make their products live in my environment as much as possible. And everyone is always so helpful!

Pros:

The tool makes building SharePoint very intuitive. The drag and drop features including the layouts allow me to build a great looking and practice SharePoint site without coding knowledge. Plus, this software makes it easy for my team to make updates.

Cons:

I would like to see more layout examples.

Best way to use SharePoint

Comments: LiveTiles updates any SharePoint site into a visually appealing, easy to navigate intranet. It's easy to use, and learning to design pages was simple. Having page templates makes creating a great looking intranet very easy.

Pros:

Ease of use, UI, great features, amazing support team.

Cons:

If I have one complaint about LiveTiles it would be the cost structure. Charging by end user can be challenging for an education setting since the number of students can change every few weeks.

LiveTiles Features

Comments: LiveTiles provides an excellent platform to get a site up and functioning very quickly. As mentioned it reduces or removes the need for a web programmer (except in the case of custom code).

Pros:

LiveTiles excels in allowing end users to add or edit content. They are also good about releasing new features.

Cons:

Some of the old tile preferences are difficult to navigate and use. It would be nice to see them revisit all of their components and upgrade to a single UX.

Empowering Departments to own their sites

Comments: LiveTiles enables our Departments and Power Users to roll our new Sites at least 4x faster and includes much cleaner and crisper. Great customer support when we run into issues.

Pros:

Cons:

Sometimes users are afraid to utilize the new tool Hard to revert back to OOTB look and feel

Awesome Product

Comments: This is an excellent product. Extremely easy to use and allows for rapid up development.

Pros:

Ease of use and great UI. The tooling is intuitive yet limitless.

Cons:

Would like more extensibility options. Maybe a little more insight into best practices when customizing.

Beyond user friendly

Comments: LiveTiles is constantly evolving and maturing. The support tile allows users to input feedback and ideas and many of those suggestions are actually put into practice. It’s nice to work with a company that truly is putting their users first.

Pros:

The drag and drop ability of tiles makes this easy for anyone to use. The ease in resizing and customizing each tile really makes this product stand out as one of a kind.

Cons:

I don’t really have any cons at this time.

LiveTiles is a Game Changer

Comments: We spent tens of thousand of dollars trying to create a one stop location within Sharepoint. Making changes to appearance and functionality were really difficult and cost prohibitive. With LiveTiles we can do all of this easily and it costs us nothing. And it is sexy!

Pros:

I love how easy it is to customize and organize a lot of data and features.

Cons:

So far I do not have any dislikes. It truly works really well for us.

It can only be implemented on a classic site and cannot accommodate additional SharePoint features

Easy and Modern

Comments: A great help for new SharePoint users especially site designers.

Pros:

I like the way Live Tiles walked a user through the system. Some users are pretty new to SharePoint and have a hard time getting started with a blank canvas. Live Tiles helps you put context to it.

Cons:

Can't think of anything at the moment. It was pretty self explanatory.

Comments: Testing out live tiles and love how easy it is to use. Support and sales has been fantastic and our test group loves it
