Best decision to use Mixpanel
Comments: Mixpanel is topnotch and lot to learn from it. If you start using it you will fall in love with the product to use and will help in making business decisions.
Pros:
Mixpanel is a powerful tool that helps to generate reports for various use cases like Facebook ads, Payments related, etc. I could make decisions really quickly because I could analyze on Mixpanel whichever data is required.
Cons:
It should be slightly beginner friendly. As it looks over whelming in the beginning later it is super useful.
A Comprehensive Review of Mixpanel
Comments: Overall, I have been very happy with my experience using Mixpanel. The ease of setup and powerful analytics have been invaluable to me in understanding my user base and making better decisions.
Pros:
Mixpanel is an incredibly powerful and user-friendly tool for tracking and analyzing user behavior. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to set up and use. Its powerful analytics provide deep insights into user behavior and allow users to make better decisions.
Cons:
Mixpanel can be expensive for some users, and its features may be too complex for some. Additionally, its customer service could use improvement.
Too complex and not so reliable
Pros:
We can set up lots of funnels and the visualisation always helps.
Cons:
The data is not consistant and makes our funnels a bit funky. It's a shame. Again, the pricing makes it less interested compared to other tools

Mixpanel
Comments: Satisfactory! Mixapanel has helped me improve my product faster with more in-depth analysis and reporting. Tracking sign-ups from the server-side for example enabled me to get more accurate hypersensitive information without the Ad-block interruptions. Mixpanel is as key for my business as it is right now. It gives me a birds-eye view of everything I need to know about customer interactions.
Pros:
The dashboard reporting is amazing! It is really easy to read and interpret even for a non-technical solo founder. With this, you can easily identify how your users are interacting with the product and how to streamline the processes. These easy-to-use reports make it easier to you to make adjustments to increase retention, engage more, and get better numbers
Cons:
Setting it up is not easy in comparison to Google Analytics! Setting up server-side or client-side, or a hybrid of both needs a level of expertise to fully leverage the benefits of the platform. You will have to watch a couple of intense YouTube Videos and go through the support articles to set up the events to get it up and running smoothly. You'll probably make a few mistakes and correct them. As a non-technical founder, it was quite frustrating setting up at the beginning but worth it eventually.

Great Analytics tool for Decision Making
Comments: It was a great product we use it on daily bases to track the user activity on our site and based on the research we plan our future goals.
Pros:
1. It is highly useful for those products which are based on customer service over web like hotel bookings, resume creation, etc. 2. You can easily create your own events for evey page or action and track user experience on mixpanel that where are they mostly using and viewing on their site which helps in decision making to upgrade their products. 3. You can easily access the mixpanel data form anywhere just login to mixpanel site and you can see the realtime data. 4. It is also easy to implement on the source code of products . We just need to include one script and we are able to add events where ever we like to define.
Cons:
Sometimes we face issue in profiling of the users.
Great for studying user behaviour - works perfectly with low code
Comments: I was suggested Mixpanel by a friend of mine, it took me very little time to implement it on my webapp, and have most of the user-behaviour tracking features in place. The dashboard is very easy to use and this allowed me to see the results immediately. You need to know what users do on your platform or website, and this was an effortless winner.
Pros:
Mixpanel is the perfect tool to track user behaviour, analyze behavioural data and optimize your website or webapp. It integrates seamlessly with low-code platforms, such as Bubble. It offers a highly customisable set of features, and you can track basically any action on your website. Their UI is easy, setup time is very short. It's also very conveniently priced, so great for bootstrapped projects.
Cons:
In my experience, I still have to find negative sides, or features that are missing. Overall a great product, easy to implement, and conveniently priced. It's a solid solution, with not many negative sides to it.
MixPanel helps us to predict our business!
Pros:
-Data and Metric prediction -Import/export -Ease of use and deployment -Nice interface and dashboard -Cost
Cons:
-Customer service isn’t as good as Adobe.
Great analytics platform but difficult to integrate
Comments: Overall it has been kind of a love and hate relationship. Again when the integration was done correctly I loved the tool but everytime I want to create a new event , I need the tech support.
Pros:
The reports and the dashboards are amazing. I can run analysis on basically everything, all the events that are happening outside and inside my software.
Cons:
It takes long time to integrate it and It's difficult to do it right. It's maybe more suitable for enterprise customers.
I use Mixpanel everyday to track my KPIs and it is visually soothing
Comments: Overall, I really love MixPanel.
Pros:
The ease of creating reports. In-depth analytics for product usage.
Cons:
Limitations on creating custom reports. I wanted to export all data from MixPanel to an Excel sheet. But since there are limitations on creating custom reports, the Excel sheet cannot fit all data into one sheet.
My Favorite Tool for Product Analytics
Comments: Mixpanel is great product analytics tool, until you have some issues around their data collection and processing changes.
Pros:
Mixpanel is a great product for creating cohorts, funnels, and deep-dive analysis without dealing with a database.
Cons:
It's pretty expensive, a bit hard-to use for non-technical people, and finally, the changes they are making in the data collection and generation model can lead to corruptions in your data. It was also pretty frustrating when they turned off messaging features (Email, SMS) in a couple of months.
Mixpanel for usability tracking
Pros:
We are using mixpanel for user activity tracking in the product, its very useful to keep track of customer activity incase of error also.
Cons:
Access to dashboard is very limited and able to create less charts only.
A powerful tool for gaining real insights into users' behaviors.
Comments: With the support of Mixpanel, we are now able to gain a more in-depth comprehension of clients' behavior and generate reports and dashboards that provide a more precise comprehension of data.
Pros:
Mixpanel is a great tool for tracking and analyzing how users act, and it is built in a way that makes it easy to get to the tools we need. I appreciate the ease of setting up different paths for data as well as having dashboards and reports that show all the details. With Mixpanel's collaboration features, I can get my team involved in all operations. This lets us mine data from more sources to get the best results.
Cons:
While I don't see this as a major issue, there are a few situations when we can't get to the necessary streams when setting up customized events.
What I think about Mixpanel
Pros:
Mixpanel provides real-time data on user behavior, allowing my business to quickly identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Cons:
Mixpanel has a limit on the amount of data that can be stored, which can be a challenge for my business with a large user base or those that generate a lot of data.
Powerful, comprehensive tool to track and analyze user actions and behavior patterns
Comments: It's a powerful analytics and marketing tool that helps you track and understand user behavior (who are your power users? which sources did you acquire them from? what's your churn rate? etc.) and make important business decisions about what you should do more of, what's working and what isn't.
Pros:
Once you set it up properly, you can use Mixpanel to track every granular user action. You can save numerous details with each event that's important for you to know such as device, browser, country, campaign UTM, etc. Mixpanel provides you with several types of reports you can analyze data with such as Insights (break down user actions to show how many share X, Y or Z detail such as campaign UTM) and Funnels (conversions between user actions). You can also use Mixpanel to send notifications (email, push, in-app) to users based on their actions. It's a very powerful analytic and marketing tool.
Cons:
Lately, Mixpanel has made quite a few UI changes. Some have been helpful, others less so. Example with a recent funnels UI change: if you add a breakdown (which breaks down each of the funnel steps by a specific detail like country), Mixpanel adds several different colored bars to the funnel, which makes it very difficult to visually see the conversions between each step. I'm not sure if they do any testing with users before launching new features or UI but their user experience would benefit a lot from it. Mixpanel also does get expensive as you track more user actions (events), but it's only powerful and useful when you track every user action, big and small. Otherwise, your analysis would be based on an incomplete picture and cause incorrect findings.
Data tool for more established companies
Comments: When working Mixpanel is fantastic. It can help companies see their acquisition, activation, retention, revenue and referral. But I think the product is primarily for more mature companies that have used queries and excel sheets in the beginning to make their initial KPI's. Don't use this from the get go as a startup. But use once you know exactly what you want to track, and get somebody on your team to be the super user of Mixpanel (data scientist) and do the same on the development team.
Pros:
Mixpanel can tell you a lot of things about your users. Especially the Signal feature is great – we've used it as a guideline instead of having a full time data scientist. You can also follow different cohorts of users and create funnels to see where these users fall of or not.
Cons:
The dashboard function is not great. Besides that the system is pretty complex, so you really need to dive deep into the tutorials to understand how to use it.
Go-To Analytics
Pros:
Mixpanel is the cleanest, most accurate analytics tool our team has used. We've tried Google Analytics, and other free services that have consistently shown us messed up data. Mixpanel is super easy to set up, it gives you the data you need in a digestable format and allows you to make quick decisions.
Cons:
To be honest, I used to be quite upset with the pricing of this software but they have recently lowered the monthly costs and it is on-par with what I would expect to pay. Good job Mixpanel.
Hard to use at the beginning but it's a great tool after all
Comments: it remains a good and affordable tool after all i wish if they can approve their features more
Pros:
Segment integration, Open API, good campaign tracking , funnel reporting and great user reporting aswell
Cons:
rectoactive aliasing's missing, also it's not that much easy to use and navigate not user freindly
Savvy tool for advanced product marketers
Comments: Without MixPanel we would wander in the dark without clear guidance.
Pros:
MixPanel offers very important metrics related to product analysis which creating our path to the improvement of our software. I especially helps us in customer acquisition, activation, retention, but also in revenue and referral activities.
Cons:
You really need to invest a lot of time to learn and understand how reporting works, how to create dashboards and other things.
MixPanel the best Software Analytics Tool
Comments:
We use MixPanel to measure all the resources of our Software. With the collected data, we set up visualizations and dashboards to make decisions in our product, and in our sales proccess, because we use MixPanel to tracking our Free Trial.
For Product Analytics, I do not doubt that the MixPanel is The best choice, even more, than we are a Startup and we have been counting on the startups program for some time.
Pros:
Mixpanel interface is excellent. For anyone who works with software as a service, this tool is essential! Distinguished product teams use this tool. MixPanel have too many resources, all you need when the subject is Product Analytics you can do with Mixpanel. I'm CTO on [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and use at least once on a week MixPanel to taking product decisions.
Cons:
The initial configuration of data tracking is a bit complicated, especially if you want to evaluate everything that is possible. You will take some time to setup the events, mainly the custom events of you product. Of course you need to evaluate the points the make sense to track, and if you love data like I, I'm sure that you will want to track everything.
Alternatives Considered:
Tracking user behavior is a must but we're still figuring out Mixpanel
Comments: We build a SaaS product and need some way of tracking and analyzing user behavior. Everyone talks about and recommends mixpanel, so we're trying to figure it out.
Pros:
The new UI is really nice (visually), I love how graphs look like Mobile app is super snappy Integration is easy Automatic insights are actually useful
Cons:
Building useful graphs can be challenging and sometimes counter-intuitive. Of course, I could watch all their education videos, but I simply don't have enough time. I think there's a lot that can be done in the "getting started quickly" category. Also, I somehow can not pin a flow-diagram to the dashboard or even save it
Day to day use of the software
Pros:
Ease and one stop for analysis and data management
Cons:
Sometimes the data is clustered. May have option to download csv
Excellent tool for Product Managers and team
Comments: After implementing Mixpanel we could, first of all, understand more easily the data collected by analytics, user flows, and funnel graphs. After that, we could understand our gaps (where users were getting lost, where they were dropping off, etc.) and use that information to make improvements to our own product.
Pros:
It is very easy to visualize and read on the screen the data exhibit. And it has a great set of filters and options to display and configure your own insights and reports.
Cons:
I can't see anything against it. it is the most complete tool for this function on the market right now.
Tracked our usage data effectively
Comments: Mixpanel is recommended but I would review your requirements to see that it's the right tool for your business needs.
Pros:
Mixpanel provided us with a wide range of product data that helped guide our business decisions. We could also export this data and provide to customers.
Cons:
We had a lot of issues with the reliability of the data based on how MixPanel captured it. It's also a very difficult product to use and requires extensive training to get the most out of it - even for a user that wants to access basic reports.
Track everything and anything
Pros:
I liked the feature that you can track the duration of the interaction. For example you can track how long does the user watches the Tutorial video as we did in our app. Though I noticed sometimes it returns wrong value, so for now I would stick to own duration calculations but still send to Mixpanel to track it. The integration is pretty simple, dashboard is nice.
Cons:
Duration tracking is a bit wrong sometimes on iOS. The panel sometimes has delays but I guess it's normal.
Mixpanel review
Comments: We are an SaaS startup, and are trying to accomplish two things with Mixpanel: 1) understand for what and how our clients are using our system, so we can help them utilize ALL features; and 2) increase internal and external satisfaction by updating our knowledge base based on our Mixpanel data to reduce support tickets and increase client retention.
Pros:
Mixpanel is awesome and really helps you make the most of your website or platform. Flows and funnels are key to better understanding how people use our site and what paths they take to complete various tasks that we could make easier for them.
Cons:
So far, there's really nothing I've discovered that I don't like about Mixpanel.
