Great for email marketing, good returns when segmenting properly
Comments: It has been great! I've really enjoyed Klaviyo and think that it is the strongest ecom email platform on the market for Shopify merchants. The customization of emails is relatively easy, it has robust feature sets for additions like reviews and sms, and their flows are a hugely important piece to generate passive income. I'd recommend Klaviyo as long as the person onboarding new tools understood how pricing structure works.
Pros:
We like to ability to have a strong integration with Shopify and how easy it is to sync lists between other platforms and Klaviyo.
Cons:
The hardest things about Klaviyo are understanding pricing around profiles, and how to justify the growing cost of the platform when competitors are starting to flank them on pricing vs features.
Best ESP out there for any Ecommerce business
Comments: All aspects, including user-friendly design, segment creation, list management, prebuilt email templates, a drag-and-drop editor, custom reporting, and customer support, are excellent..
Pros:
I have been using Klaviyo for the last 4, 5 years for different clients from across the globe, it is very easy to use, and easy to integrate with any tool, and the functionality and the features are fantastic

There is nothing that I don't like about this tool.
Worst customer service
Comments: Again, when I ask them nicely to remove another featured they added and we never asked for, I am asked the same questions 3 times in a row and ultimately treated like a robot. Different agents, but same behaviour. And the attitude? It's like they all have a bad day!

Not much to be honest, maybe how you display the numbers

Comments: For the moment we believe this is one of the best SMS and Email marketing tools available.
Pros:
The interface is one of the cleanest we've worked with, and it actually works! (Which is something unfortunately didnt happen with some other alternatives) Flows are easy to create, user profiles are really complete with all the info on a specific contact (if you have an ecommerce integration active)
Cons:
It does have a learning curve, but they provide plenty documentation and online courses to learn how to use it from beginner to advanced user.
Significant power, for a price
Comments: Klaviyo allows us to be extremely specific with our segmentation and to extract, analyze and track valuable customer insights. Many of our email campaigns have been very successful.
Pros:
Klaviyo is one of the strongest email management products available. They have incredible segmentation and customer insights.
Cons:
Klaviyo is very expensive, and it's not very easy to take your insights along with you if you leave Klaviyo. It's also important that you continue to take advantage of the features every single month, in order to get the most value out of the service.

Comments: Very positive as we can also tap into a great network of freelancers / talent that knows the tool / ecosystem to answer any questions or execute specific projects for us.
Pros:
Easy of set-up stands out the most as we've used and set-up many tools for ourselves and our clients. Additionally, we love that the customer data platform is built in so that we have a vertically integrated one stp shop to analyze our customer or client's data at scale!
Cons:
It can be challenging for our junior marketing analysts to implement APIs and end-to-end campaigns, so we have to hire our freelancers / talent. So it is easy to set-up but to scale you most likely need to hire in some expertise on a hourly basis.

Comments: Overall I've been very happy with Klaviyo and appreciate its focus on email marketing and SMS rather than trying to be the tool for everything.
Pros:
I use Klaviyo for my email newsletter. It's been a smooth process overall. I've had no issues importing and managing lists and contacts and have been happy with its design capabilities, deliverability, and analytics.
Cons:
As my list grows, I'm a little weary of the pricing for larger audiences, but that is only an issue I see down the line.

I love the ease of creating digital campaigns, as there are plenty of templates suitable for everything. Klaviyo enables us to segment customer lists into multiple sub-lists, and this is important for the success of segmenting campaigns to ensure the achievement of their goals.

With Klaviyo, after the correct connection with the platforms, all subsequent steps are very easy, as targeting is done in real time, and the frequency of messages can be easily adjusted from the settings.
6+ Years on Klaviyo
Pros:
I love the ease of use, likely because we've used it for so long and I'm so familiar with the platform. When they do make updates, it's not too much at once in the way many companies go about updating. The email editor is simple, the ability to a/b test is as well. Overall great functionality.
Cons:
I think the native content boxes can be more customizable although they are improving slowly. I'd love to be able to set the font sizes on mobile to be a percentage of the size on desktop instead of choosing multiple font sizes. They used to have amazing support, it's nowhere near where it used to be.
Klaviyo to expand our email outreach
Comments: Good so far, it's just that we might end the long term relationship by the end of this year, since our monthly subscription keeps on increasing.
Pros:
We like that we are able to send mass emails while still complying to CAN-SPAM guidelines. We also like that we can create workflow to target specific audience based on their behaviour.
Cons:
We would prefer Klaviyo to be cheaper - it's getting more and more expensive and we might need to look for an alternative soon.

The functions of creating messages in automated templates with design tools for mobile devices are what I like the most, also working with automation in emails.

Just an issue with setting up a template that was integrated into an email response system, this is the only issue we've had.

Comments: I didn't know anything about email marketing before using Klaviyo. In addition to the platform itself, there are great tutorials and workshops to help you use the platform better. I love that I can do SMS marketing from the same site.

Pros:
I use it everyday and love all the info they provide on how to improve OR, CTR, and revenue. It's very easy to create emails and flows.
Cons:
They switched from account reps to general customer service questions. We have a small team so for someone who is learning about email marketing it was really nice to have a personal relationship with the reps who could help guide you.
A necessary software for e-commerce
Pros:
Klaviyo has a ton of features built in to get your emails shows to the masses. I am not an email expert but I am able to figure it out.

I can get a little confused with the terms used for different areas of the software. They sound similar to me
