ShipStation Is the Best e-Commerce Shipping Tool!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: ShipStation was an excellent tool to help grow my small business. I am able to see orders from multiple stores that I operate. I have shipped over 20,000 items and I am still shipping products using ShipStation. The

Pros:

It is by far the best e-Commerce tool for shipping and logistics. It helped me grow and run my business immensely. I was able to easily plug in the stores that I operate and it worked like a charm. It populated all the orders without any problem. I also liked the shipping discounts that it provided, as well.

Cons:

I found it a little clunky to use at first. I had trouble navigating the orders. It is really a warehouse type of tool which I had to get used to. I had to learn to how to navigate using the software which didn't seem as intuitive as shipping on eBay or Etsy, for example.

Shipstation for your needs big or small

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Shipstation has been there for our company from the very beginning. It has grown to be able to assist us in shipping thousands of shipments per day.

Pros:

Shipstation offers everything one needs to operate a compact, medium or large fulfillment business.

Cons:

There are so many features that we don't use, I wonder if it might be better to have the option to build a subscription level rather than use a subscription tier that's centered only around volume.

Absymal customer service, frustrating experience, avoid.

1.0 6 months ago

Comments: I've worked with shipsation for 4 years, it's a horrendous program and I hate it with every fiber of my being.

Pros:

The layout is pretty, I like the color green.

Cons:

Cannot select cheapest shipping option quickly. Bugs go unfixed for months and customer service is abysmal. Cannot split orders automatically.

A Solid Shipping Platform with a Few Quirks

4.0 3 months ago

Comments: It's a very smooth app with some odd behaviors here and there but good overall.

Pros:

It consolidates all of our fulfillments from a variety of sales channels.

Cons:

The integrations could use some mapping settings to prevent issues.

If you ship products, Shipstation is the way to go!

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: This program suits our business perfectly. We are a manufacturing company and we ship daily. It keeps you from doubling your workload as your customers information is at your finger tips.

Pros:

The detail. It remembers your customers, contains and keeps all of the pertinent information, even if you are just looking for an email address.

Cons:

So far, I can’t note out any particular con, as it performs exactly the way I need it too. When you ship products, it saves so much time.

Works Okay, Remote printing issues

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: I wouldn't not recommend using ShipStation, but the integration with the Rollo printer was annoying, specifically on the Mac. It didn't have issues integrating with ecommerce platforms like Shopify or Amazon, and was reliable for sending the correct data and receiving the full and accurate orders.

Pros:

It integrated well with Shopify, Walmart.com, Etsy, eBay and Amazon.

Cons:

It had connection issues with the remote printing option and Rollo. I would have to frequently disconnect and reconnect the software. The cost jumps up rapidly after 50 orders, and during my off season, if I'd forget to downgrade, I would pay a lot for services I wasn't using

ShipStation Review

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: It's been the most absolute perfect shipping options experience.

I like the ease of creating shipping labels and purchasing shipping options right there and keeps track of warehouse inventory all while doing all that.

Cons:

I love ShipStation because it takes the hassle out of everything.

New Version Is Broken

2.0 10 months ago

Comments: It's been working, but so many features are not implemented well. They do not listen to the community when it comes to improvement/needs. Some missing features from the new version that are necessary for an efficient workflow.
It's really easy to make a mistake while shipping/combining and there's no way to undo the mistake without crazy work arounds. They took a working program and turned it into garbage.

Pros:

The only option I can find that integrates into our workflow

Cons:

New version broke a lot of the necessary features I need

Support is absolutely ridiculous - NOT RECOMMENDED

2.0 last year

Comments: Poor. This boils down to the lack of technical support. Overall, we like the software when it works.

Pros:

Shipstation has served us well for the past few years. It is a great way a aggregate all your orders from different channels.

Cons:

Support is HORRIBLE. We are left not being able to ship and can not get any assistance. I have upgraded our plan just to get access to live chat, and this is just as bad as the email support. We are urgently looking at alternatives and can not have our business dependant on ShipStation.

Good Platform to work on your e-commerce orders.

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Works great to get all your orders fulfilled. We are very satisfied with that aspect. We do not intend to change away from it.

Pros:

The easy to gather all the orders from different selling channels into one tool. No extra entering of shipping information and I like how it does verify all your addresses.

Cons:

The Magento Module has issues. Live Rates do not just transfer from Shipstation to the website. It ends up being $0 for shipping that gets charged to our customers. I had to deactivate that functionality.

Best in class order management, but inventory management is flawed

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Positive. I've tried numerous competitors, but keep coming back to shipstation for just doing the business of shipping things flawlessly. If they would add inventory syncing and kitting/bundling, this product would be literal perfection.

Pros:

The workflows, batching, labelling, general UI and UX and the user-centric engineering make it obvious this was designed by product managers who have done ecommerce, rather than their competitors who are software engineers first and have no clue what store owners actually want.

Cons:

The inventory managenet is one way; anything you sell on any channel will decrement Shipstation's inventpry, but it won't then push the new stock count out to connected stores. Also therefore no support for kitting and bundling. They recommend you check out other integration partners but most of those cost 300+ per month which is 6x what I'm paying for Shipstation. They have competitors who offer these features free or cheap, but the competitors lack in the order/shipping management features.

Useful tool

4.0 11 months ago

Comments: Overall Shipstation has been a useful tool for our 3PL. There isn't anything else quite like it.

Pros:

Shipstation is easy to use and helpful for shipping!

Cons:

Some features are buggy. We often have trouble with scales not working properly. Sometimes during peak seasons Shipstation cannot handle the capacity and crashes.

Most convenient way to ship

5.0 9 months ago

Pros:

Ship Station is a convenient and cheaper way to ship your products to your customers. I didn't realize until when I seen how much I had to pay monthly for my Shopify store it got expensive so I started using Ship Station.

Cons:

Sometimes I may have trouble logging into my account.

Loved til overcharging

4.0 last year

Comments: Great in the beginning & horrible in the end

Pros:

It was easy to use n it had lots of great features easy made labels, tracking, inventory management , choice of couriers, prices were good when quoted to u, do e-commerce , distribution & more was great n the beginning

Cons:

They would overcharge me all the time if the package was half a pound over weight instead of just having 2 pay a lil extra it's like they would void what u paid already & make u pay a what itd cost 2 shipped like u hadn't paid, & 1 time I paid 6$ to ship 1 piece of wall decal that was barely heavier than a reg piece of paper & they said it weighted 7 pounds yet it didn't even weigh 1 pound they charged me like 12$ on top of the $6 id paid ahead of time 4 basically a 8×10 piece of paper. After being over charged 15 times I never used them again

Worked well until recent changes forcing a huge price hike

Having a shipping station at home

5.0 last year

Comments: great experience managing my platforms all on this one for that reason

Pros:

The very best thing is the price is based on the number of packages being shipped. There s a free trial of 30 days as well.

Cons:

They ship with all the major shipping companies, didn't know if easier to have one or it be a conflict of interest
