Comments: It’s been a great learning experience using Auth0 in mobile apps

Pros:

Auth0 manages the signing features for any project im working on, gives me time to focus on business logic

Cons:

Documentation was a bit confusing to beginners

Auth0 implementation in retail.

Comments: Easy implementation, flexible functionalities and many different options for the user to authenticate.

Pros:

It's very easy to implement. You won't need to change much of your code base.

Cons:

Everything's fine so far, haven't had any major issue.

Basic review

Comments: Decent. Very easy to use and very fast development

Pros:

Easy to use, I like how easy is to implement authentication system

Cons:

Had some redireciton issues. Spent a lot of time on login screen (login/register button)

Simple secure login

Pros:

I didn't need to build a backend for my web app as I could redirect users for secure login.

Cons:

Had some issues when trying to assign users roles and having unique page interactions when given certain roles.

It's a slight curve to understand and get it working

The Perfect Fit for Businesses of Any Size

Comments: The SSO feature makes it easy to access on-premises apps securely, and you can customize it to fit your company’s needs. The setup support was excellent, and this platform is great for businesses of any size because it’s flexible and easy to integrate.

Pros:

This software is easy to customize, works smoothly and is well documented. It’s especially useful for managing accounts and data and you can add it to your application with just a few lines of code.

Cons:

Auth0 has worked perfectly for me with no problems and nothing bad to say about it.

What stands out most about Auth0 is its scalability and security. It simplifies user management across multiple platforms with features like single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA) It Also supports integration with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Active Directory). For instance, it enables quick, secure access for employees across different applications, ensuring compliance.

Cons:

One thing I liked least about Auth0 is that setting up biometric authentication and single sign-on (SSO) with multi-factor authentication (MFA) can be tricky. For example, while you can enable fingerprint login, getting it to work smoothly with SSO and MFA often requires a lot of extra steps, which can be frustrating

A secure and quick authentication tool

Comments: Auth0 ensures strong security features through SSO and smooth app integrations. Its support of integrations with a variety of apps example with azure /slack makes login quicker and secure.

Pros:

What stands out is how easy it is to complete Single Sign On logins. It integrates well with Azure and Slack. All in all, it’s a reliable tool for handling authentication.

Cons:

Auth0's dashboard is a bit cluttered with many features that aren't used a lot , making navigation a little bit challenging.

Smooth integration

Comments: Auth0 provided a seamless integration experience, allowing us to implement authentication quickly. Although a few configuration steps were initially complex, they didn’t impede our usage, and the platform ultimately met our needs effectively.

Pros:

Comments: When accessing on premises services and apps the SSO feature is helpful for a secure access. This made the services and apps more secure.

Pros:

The feature to customize the authentication and authorization features to the applications for a safe and secure identity and access management.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike , its a good application.

Easy to use authentication

Pros:

Good documentation and very supportive customer support. Fairly easy to integrate into existing projects.

Cons:

Would be nice to have more examples of projects/software that use Auth0.

Versatile platform for access and identity management

Comments: This platform has all the features needed to ensure effective and secure identity and access management, with a very extensive level of customization.

Pros:

It is very easy to assign permissions for user access according to the role they have in the company. It offers an excellent level of customization that adapts very well to the characteristics of the company. It has a very efficient and easy to configure multifactor authentication. It has very useful examples in the configuration that allow saving time.

Cons:

This platform has everything you need for a successful identity management of an organization, the only thing they can improve is its ease of use.

You have no reason to ever build your own authentication system again

Comments: Authentication as a service.
Security that is done by professionals.

Pros:

Auth0 does a fantastic job of taking all those hard, risky and tedious parts of making your own authentication system off your plate. Developers literally have no reason to create their own authentication system any more, it's all provided by Auth0.

Cons:

The docs could be clearer. It's very easy to get confused or lost. They could use slightly more user-friendly language in their documentation and management UI. Could have more/clearer examples of best practices and common usages/implementations.

Perfect not just for authentication and authorization but also Customer Support!

Comments: The authentication and authorization part is something you just set up and then it works. But I use Auth0 on a frequent basis for customer support. I can see the necessary information about a user, their sign-up and log-in activities, data providers, password management, and such. This allows me to more easily and quickly answer the questions of users and guide them through a process.

Pros:

Auth0 is mainly a solution for authentication and authorization. And it does what it promises in that aspect, but I also find it very helpful when it comes to customer support because I can see a lot of crucial information about user activity.

Cons:

I haven't had any problems with Auth0. I am happy with the functionality they offer and wouldn't change it.

great if need to connect to lots of apps

Comments: really great -- hard problem to solve - only thing better would be open source or even simpler turnkey add auth;

Pros:

oauth is a *messy space* and auth0 is one of the few startup friendly options around that (a) lets you add other providers and (b) has a pay-as-you SaaS and small biz startup friendly pricing

it's a bit complicated to work with and wish someone just had an API that let devs have a standard access model and abstracted away with auth service using

Developers friendly

Comments: I'll keep using in my projects for long time. All plans quota are enough to start for any company.

Pros:

Use theirs code sample in many languages to start a project faster or add to your existing code with a few lines of codes, add credentials and start using it in less than 15 minutes.

Cons:

Sometimes documentation would be hard to understand but when you got it... You got it.

Easy to use, good support

Pros:

Auth0 really provided a boost in development time and was a good solution to our authentication problems, have nice features like great customizability for emails, login pages etc

If it is down like recently can affect your business.

Fast Implementation that Works!

Comments: Excellent sales experience with hands on experts that assisted with initial configuration. First class support organization. Excellent product and experience overall.

Pros:

Implementation time was far less than anticipated. The services are well documented and everything just works as expected. Support has been very good and the detailed examples are helpful. Excellent product.

Cons:

Managing multiple tenants is a little complex without features to clone or compare tenants which makes managing multiple environments more difficult.

Great login for SaaS products

Pros:

The quality and stability of the service, have almlost had no ossuarium since we launched it.

Cons:

We would like to give our customers the option to choose two-factor themselves. As some want it and others not.

My experience

Comments: We stared using Auth0 4 years ago. We implemented it quite easily and never had any issue. The service is very stable!

Pros:

Easy to use. Very clear & complete documentation

Cons:

Admin web site is quite slow and UI could probably be improved...

Great authentication software

Pros:

Easy to use, very easy to set it up. Reasonably priced.

Cons:

It requires low level programming skills.

You can easily realize SNS connection. It will be possible to provide services without managing any ID and password

It is difficult to understand the charge system. It is difficult to secure a budget in advance

Comments: It has been a positive experience. It performs very well, is flexible and has proven to be a good solution for our products.

Some limitations: maximum user search result (1000) not clear until we encountered it and the lack of user containers (groups).

I thinks biometrics should be already added. I think it would make it as the best identity provider tool.
