Excellent time management tool for startups and SMEs

Comments: Through the years, I've tried a number of other online scheduling tools, but Vagaro is far and away the finest option for companies of any size. Vagaro has considered every detail, including cost, usability, online tutorial videos, quality customer service, and a plethora of customizable features like gift card and credit card integration, as well as email and marketing tools.

Pros:

Excellent service is a major selling point for me. Their instant messaging service is quick and simple to use. The program is constantly updated, making it seem better and better while improving its functionality.

Cons:

I'm not sure I have many complaints because they seem to listen to their consumers and address any issues that arise. The biggest challenge has been teaching customers how to properly pronounce the name.

Vagaro lacks Google Business Integration

Comments: Overall, my experience with Vagaro was ok. I would not recommend it to new business owners just because of the fact that they are not integrated with Google Business and the price. When people find you on Google and want to book appointments, they get stuck if Vagaro is the appointment platform you are with. This frustrated my potential clients and lost me a lot of business, so I would not recommend it.

Pros:

What I liked most about Vagaro was that I can add employees under me easily. It was easy to set up and get my business moving.

Cons:

I was very disappointed that Vagaro was not integrated with my Google page. It was very difficult to switch from Square to Vagaro because of this. When clients would book appointments, it would go to my Square Appointment Setter because Vagaro would not integrate with Goodgle, which was so odd to me. Also, the monthly payments for an app that doesn’t integrate with Google Business is way too high. As a small business owner it’s very important that we cut corners every which way we can; and I think that the people who decided to charge what Vagaro charges did not have the customer in mind when deciding, just maybe their profit. In the end I had to leave Vagaro because I found a cheaper app that intergraded very well with my Google Business. I have reached out and complained to them about this but got nowhere.

Beware the inflated reviews and heavy SEO. Vagaro isn't what it seems

Comments: Vagaro is absolutely awful. Non-existent tech support couldn't get my booking button up on instagram and google for 4 weeks and counting. Their system is super convoluted and requires a ton of unnecessary steps. You can't just punch in a dollar amount and charge people when you need to do a quick sale. You have to make a customer and add their info. I've had many customers come to me and complain about their online booking system also. I will be taking all my consulting clients off Vagaro

Pros:

Vagaro looks great on the surface because they dedicate a tremendous amount of resources to SEO and inflating reviews.

Cons:

Unnecessary steps for us and for clinets. Awful support. Non-refundable equipment. Booking integrations doesn't work. List goes on

Book With Ease

Comments: I use this app to schedule salon appointments for me and my daughter. It's easy to use, and the appointment reminders are helpful. Since the salon is always busy, it helps me to secure a booking time in advance so I can be sure to get in.

Pros:

Easy to use and easy to schedule appointments. After booking, it showed other businesses in the area, and I was unaware of many.

Cons:

Nothing. It is a very straightforward app to use.

Vagaro works!

Pros:

I enjoy avoiding the back and forth with others to try to get appointments and such booked. It allows for a convenient process.

Cons:

I dislike that the ability for cancelations its available.

Vagaro for the Team!

Comments: My experience with Vagaro has always been really good when booking an appointment with any business on the platform. I've gotten reminders and a link to confirm the appointment the day before which makes the process much smoother to remember. Vagaro is an amazing platform that I will keep using.

Pros:

Its booking platform is easy to use and the reminders on the platform are a plus!

Cons:

The least thing I like about Vagaro is the login process but either than that the platform is easy to use.

Could be better

Comments: Vagaro isn't my preferred app. I've tried several and tend to lean towards another due to it's broader portfolio of vendors, reviews and accuracy of scheduling.

Pros:

The geography for vendors in my area is nice. The ability to schedule and read submitted reviews is helpful as well.

Cons:

I wish there were more vendors listed. When searching for "haircut" in my local geography, I've found better apps to provide what I need.

Comments: Overall it has been satisfactory, which is why I am still here. The inconvenience of setting up another platform has not been worth the move to another platform

Pros:

Ease of use, consistency of good customer service and added features

Cons:

High email/text marketing costs, high rates to process payments, inability to credit/rollover unused portion of marketing plan ( ie. if I pay for 5k emails and only use 2k, it would be nice to allow rollover of unused portion) Especially due to the fact that there have been many glitches or unexplained sends that were not actually sent!! We have so much wasted money due to this

Great Med Spa office organizing tool

Comments: Wonderful! It is used by several members of our staff for various aspects of our clinic operations.

Pros:

Ease of use and affordability! Also, HIPAA compliance, inventory tracking, & online booking! This is THE program that holds our clinic together and allows us to continue to operate effectively.

Cons:

Sometimes, it doesn’t connect well through our WiFi firewall for some reason, but it’s easy enough to hotspot for access if/when this happens.

Great for Salons

Comments: It's really been a great tool. It really does what I need it to do and they are adding to it every day it seems trying to make it better.

Pros:

Really like that I can have a different room for each service and it is easy to use

Cons:

Don't like that there are not better notifications for waitlist. Don't like how weird it is to find our Merchant details each month. The look of it could just be better somehow.

Oh how I love Vagaro!!

Comments: A few words : EXCELLENT, STREAMLINED SERVICE AND MAKES MY DAY FLOW

Pros:

I love how streamlined it has become in my work/life balance. It's almost like my boss dictating when I can or cannot have the day off. It just helps in many ways with me mapping out my day and as a big plus I can link it with my Apple Watch.

Cons:

Honestly I'll need a while to think about if I had any complaints in the past but for now I'm just gonna enjoy my experience.

Comments: Excellent! Over the years I left Vagaro and tried 2 other booking systems but found them complicated. And one didn't have a phone app. So I'm sticking with Vagaro. Our clients love the ease of using the Vagaro phone app.

Pros:

Ease of use for desktop and phone app. I also like how easy it is to do reports, especially payroll.

Cons:

I hate when it goes down for a long period of time.

For booking appointments–VAGARO is a safe bet that you can’t really go wrong with

Comments: Overall it was a good experience because I was successfully able to schedule an appointment with Vagaro and that was really the whole point of me going onto that platform. I didn’t have any hiccups throughout the process and though it’s not a software that is mind blowing or anything like that, it really doesn’t need to be. Because the reality is less is more and as long as you’ve got the basics down, which they do then you have a good product. From my experience as a customer/client I just need to go on and schedule an appointment to get a service done and I was able to do so and it’s a simple as that, especially in comparison to ones I have used that are not even as advanced, and those can be frustrating. if you think about the task at hand and the times when people usually need to schedule an appointment. They’re doing it often during quick moments they can insert into their busy life of juggling multiple things, i.e 5 minute break at work, sitting on the train ride home,or whenever they can break free from their toddler taking a nap to get that quick personal break for their own self-care or need. People are looking for scheduling their needed appointment to be easy and as quick as possible and that’s basically what it was like to use. My user experience was seamless and I would really have no reason not to recommend to a friend or colleague

Pros:

It gets the job done. I used it as a client scheduling an appointment and it might have been early on in the technology so I’m not really sure how it is currently I’m sure it is more advanced, but it was simple enough to use and I was able to visually see the openings to schedule, etc.

Cons:

There wasn’t too much that stood out to me necessarily, which I guess in a sense that would be what I like the least. Scheduling an appointment sometimes can be a chore and since there’s nothing really that stands out that I like the least, it would be kind of a good or bad thing. And it’s really because it was just fairly basic. Nothing that wowed me or set it apart from similar platforms.

Vagaro takes online appointment scheduling to a whole new level

Comments: I really enjoy how the team helps me get through virtually anything I have encountered so far of running my business. With the expansion to 2 other states I felt at ease and comfortable moving forward with them. You will be well taken care of with the Vagaro system and team.

Pros:

The features just blow me away. I could spend a year implementing all the options and still get more. The customer service team is sensational and always there.

Cons:

Just learning all the options to handle for customer/clientele management. There is a lot to learn with the Vagaro product. It takes time to absorb it all, but it is definitely worth it or I would not be still with them years later. I am proud to say I use their service to not only you but my clients.

Comments: I don't hate this software, I know there are some major improvements to make this software even better.

Pros:

I like the ease with which customers can get text verification and book with just a few clicks on their mobile app. I also like the fact that their email system can successfully send emails. It's the best feature product that can be fairly easily customized.

Cons:

There really isn't a downside to not getting help from the tutorial video. I liked everything that was totally fine

You could want for nothing more!

Comments: It has been a 100% pleasant experience and better than we could have even wished for!

Pros:

This system has a base which is amazing and you have the ability to add things to it to complete everything you could ever need from start to finish. It is very simple and user friendly for clients. Clients being able to access appointment making any day and any time when they think of it. The reminder system is worth its weight in gold. The POS and Credit Card transactions capabilities added to your system complete the perfect package. As a new business and nervous about handling all aspects of the business as seamlessly as possible this checks ALL the boxes!

Cons:

There is NOTHING we do not love. It is efficient and easy to use.

This Software Doesn't Work if you're bigger than a Sole Proprietor

Pros:

I am so frustrated with the issues I had trying to set up their credit card processing (required if you want online booking functionality) that I don't have anything good to say about them.

Cons:

They require you to set up Credit Card Processing through them if you're going to use the online booking feature of the software, but they don't have a way to do this as a corporate entity. They want whoever the primary user of the software to be who the application is under even if that person is not the company owner and they want you to take photos of that person's drivers license and send a selfie to verify identity. When you're a corporation, usually the person filling out the application is different than the primary user is different than the company owner, but they don't seem to have any way to do this without acting like you're a one-man shop and providing information that isn't actually correct for your business.

Easy to use

Comments: very nice I really like the program. It's easy to use and has most things that you need.

Pros:

My clients and myself love the reminders. It's easy to use.

Cons:

I wish we could put a person's name in to find a gift certificate. Also, wish we could have another color for personal time off besides brown. but really I guess it doesn't matter that much. the most I don't' care for is the soap notes, it needs to be more professional looking when printed out. the best soap notes program I used was win city soap notes they were very professional looking and easy to use. Printed out very nicely. unfortunate they are not in business any longer. I use clinic Sense which is ok.

Vagary makes life easier for me and clients
