Export function to Booking.com somewhat limited - can not create extra rooms via hostaway, bed setup not ideal for representing non-traditional bedding.

Best tool thus far!
Pros:
I love how many integrations hostaway has.
Cons:
The task would be perfect to use instead of turno if it had automatic payments.
Simplicity and great support
Comments: Overall experience has been great so far! I would definitely recommend Hostaway to others. Ernesto made the onboarding process simple for me, which was my biggest reservation of switching PMS tools with having more than 30 active properties. There were no hiccups in the process and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns quickly. The support team is also amazing and responds within minutes around the clock.
Pros:
The pros for me are the support team and response times to questions and issues and the simplicity of the tool and how easy it is to find things. I have used other software that was so complex that I would get lost easily but that isn't the case with Hostaway.
Cons:
The only negative I can think of at the moment is that the dynamic pricing tool doesn't have as many features as third party solutions at this time. But it is new to Hostaway so I'm hopeful it will be improving soon.
Alternatives Considered: Hostfully Property Management Platform
Reasons for Choosing Hostaway: The primary reason that I left was value for the cost and also simplicity of use.
Switched From: Guesty
Reasons for Switching to Hostaway: Hostfully did not have enough features that I needed.
Tripled their fee after three months, DO NOT TRUST THEM.
Comments: Bait and switch, plain and simple. Waste of 3 months and thousands of dollars.
Pros:
We did an exhaustive search of similar companies to manage our 22 nightly rental cabins in Alaska. Switched from Checkfront and Resnexus. Spent three months getting set up, countless hours learning and adapting, all while paying $600/month for the software. Finally got it all working right and thought we were set. BUT SEE CONS!
Cons:
Without warning, Hostaway starting charging our guests a 2% "guest service fee," nearly tripling the cost of their service. It went from $600/month to $600/month + 2% of $600,000 gross. Assuming this was a mistake we called tech support, and got a million excuses. "Costs have gone up," "Other software systems also charge a fee," "the customer pays it," etc. We asked if we had agreed to it, and they claimed the license agreement says "prices may change without notice." I guess it does, but tripling the price without notice seems beyond excessive. We're now looking to start the whole process over again.

Hostaway is a great channel manager
Comments: I think the onboarding is a great feature and to know that i have a point of contact at Hostaway, rather than just random support people, is great. This is one of the main reasons i would recommend Hostaway.
Pros:
The control over rates and being able to manage across multiple platforms, we especially like the easy use direct website.
Cons:
the speed of messages. airbnb message come through a lot quicker but booking.com i find easier to use on their website than Hostaway. We would like some features automated, like financial reporting and even a way to link to something like Pocksmith or Xero would be amazing.

Exceptional Support and Comprehensive Features
Comments: I highly recommend Hostaway for anyone looking for a reliable and feature-packed property management solution.
Pros:
The platform is user-friendly, integrates seamlessly with various channels, and offers excellent automation features, which save a lot of time. What stands out is the customer support. Billy, in particular, with his professionalism and deep knowledge made a significant difference in my experience.
Cons:
Some features feel a bit outdated, and the mobile app could be more intuitive. Additionally, there were minor glitches during peak usage periods, but the whole team was quick to provide solutions.

Reasons for Switching to Hostaway: Hostaway provides a modern, intuitive platform that simplifies property management tasks. The other platforms are outdated and difficult to navigate, making them less efficient for daily operations.
Really great solution for Short Term Rental automation
Comments: Very happy I switched to Hostaway. This will make managing my multiple Airbnbs much easier.
Pros:
Tons of functionality and very easy to use. It has everything from automation for all the major booking channels, to easy customization and setup on your direct booking site. It also has upcharges and cross sells and the ability to host clients pages.
Cons:
It takes a while to go through the onboarding but it's well worth it.

Very powerful tool with very good onboarding and support
Comments: its a very good product, its complex but so powerful with all these funtions, the onboarding was really good and Fatih helps me a lot to do all important settings

very fast, powerful functions, fast and reliable channel manager, powerful statistics, multiple booking engines, unified inbox with connection via sms and whatsapp, best onboarding team ever

translation to german (especially in the booking engine), some missing funktions for german market (adress and company name as standard field in checkin form)

The best tool I've ever used
Comments: The best!!! ... and I really mean it. After going through some bad experiences with 2 other providers, I can honestly say that Hostaway is miles ahead.
Pros:
Their onboarding process was so incredibly smooth, partly due to the super user friendly system but also their fantastic onboarding team. [sensitive content hidden] who was helping me with the onboarding was top of the class. Absolutely amazing. Their app is also super user friendly. I have all my properties in one place finally.
Cons:
There really wasn't anything I didn't like.

Pros:
Works well; support is quick and effective [today [sensitive content hidden] helped me in like easy hours via e-mail]; using mail templates
Cons:
In Hungary we have to register all the guests' data to a system (called NTAK and VIZA) and HA is not capable to do this therefore we must use a 3rd party system manually to do that. This kind of implementation (multi ntak) would be awesome and I am sure many users in Budapest and in Hungary come to use HA.

I was worried about the cost, but going back over what I spent on other software companies, the price is actually just fine. I was annoyed that I couldn't start the process on my own, and had to wait a week, but my onboarder
Fatih Govercin was extremely helpful. He was patient and quick. He met me at my ability level.
Pros:
It has all the features I need, and more.
Cons:
Takes awhile to get set up. I signed up and had to wait a week to start the onboarding process (trust me, it's needed).

Reasons for Choosing Hostaway: I switched to Hosthub because I liked it's features. I was worried about guest integration because they didn't have VRBO inbox options. THey assured me it would be coming and they sent emails instead. Sure enough, my VRBO guests got left behind as emails were not sent, and since they do not send notifications, it took me way to long to know when something was wrong.

Reasons for Switching to Hostaway: Cost and ease of speaking with someone for a demo. Corry de Candole was quick to answer questions through email and the demo.

Comments: Recently I needed help fixing a situation I created on the platform. I had the best Customer Service experience of any company when [sensitive content hidden], a Hostaway Support Specialist, helped me through the issue resolving my problems completely. During the session, she also taught me some new techniques for managing my listings. [sensitive content hidden] was a heaven-sent for the moment! Thank you!
Pros:
The ease of use of the software and its integration capabilities along with automated messaging.
Cons:
I'm a small-time Property Manager and Hostaway has so many features it's hard for me to keep up with all I need to be trained to do.

Hostaway is hands-down the best channel manager I've used to date...
Comments: I really enjoy using the software and find the customer service to be superior to what I'd experienced so far from software services like this previously. I also want to note that this is a complex piece of software and does require some dedicated setup time... however, the customer support staff is really patient, a readily available, and are very friendly. I haven't ever been turned away by them without having my issue resolved - they're pretty great!
Pros:
Top level functionality, great customer service, intuitive controls/menus/interface.
Cons:
It's slightly expensive, but far cheaper than the past channel manager I've used; it also includes most/all of the add-on features from the 'other' channel manager but they are included in the service rather than additional services.
Best channel management software
Comments: Very satisfied. I couldn’t manage my three properties across three channels without this software.
Pros:
The best thing they do is assist with the onboarding. All the other software tools don’t do much to help you get it setup. They stayed with me until I was fully setup. The support team is the bomb!
Cons:
Probably just how not all channels integrate the same way but not sure anything can be done about that.

Second Year of using Hostaway
Comments: Very very good. I recommended it already to other companies.
Pros:
It has a lot of features, it is easy to navigate through different channels, easy to monitor your financials, your reservation creations and more. I find holidayfuture.com extremely useful as well. Also, inbox is really useful especially when using templates.
Cons:
It can easily get disorienting with all these different features, while also custumer supports is not a 24/7 option which would be really needed.
Alternatives Considered: monday.com and HubSpot CRM
Reasons for Switching to Hostaway: I have expereince on the product from other company and I found it very complete.
Seasoned host 5 years plus
Comments: Turn times for response is 24 hours or more. The chat option has AI directory but sometimes you need a person to explain or problem-solve an issue which sometimes is 24 hrs
Pros:
The ability to control my listings with a minimum night stay, changing pictures, titles etc
Cons:
Not so user-friendly. The mobile app limits what you can do. Many times I have to wait to get back in front of a PC to handle a simple task.
Best Property Management Software on the market
Comments: Always top tier. Customer service is the best on the market.
Pros:
Excellent customer service, efficient and the wait time is short. Reps are knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Cons:
There is nothing i don't currently like about HostAway, they are constantly updating and improving their product.
Onboarding Experience
Comments: Being new to both property management and the Hostaway software can be daunting. I really feel that Hostaway with its vast capabilities is exactly what I need to keep everything to do with property management in one place. I went through the onboarding process with Shabeeb and despite a lot of information to digest, Shabeeb took the time to explain everything in a very easy-to-understand manner. He was patient and supportive and told me that as a Hostaway user, if there is ever anything I need help with, the support and customer success teams are always there to help. I'm so pleased with my choice to use Hostaway for my new business and am grateful to Shabeeb for all his help.
Pros:
I like the clean visuals Hostaway has to begin with, I have found the onboarding process to be super supportive. I'm so happy with everything that I know I made the right decision for my new business. Hostaway allows for so much automation, making managing properties much easier and less time-consuming.
Cons:
I've only been using Hostaway for under 6 months, however, there is nothing that I do not like.

There are many features that we have truly come to rely on, making property management across multiple cities and teams much easier. The financial reporting functionality for tenants and the integration with cleaning services are especially useful. I find some parts of the user interface to look a bit outdated, as if the software is a few years old. This is purely an appearance-based critique, but I think the interface could use a visual update.

Comments: My overall experience with Hostaway has been positive, primarily because of the trainer we were assigned. Not only was he patient but he was also flexible when I needed to make last-minute meeting changes. He never became impatient and patiently reanswered the same quesetion if needed. Also, none of my questions stumped him.
Pros:
I appreciated having six training sessions led by the same expert Hostaway representative. I quickly became comfortable asking questions, and the rep adapted to my learning pace. Every question I asked was answered and I was guided through new skills with hands-on experience.
Cons:
I find Hostaway challenging to learn. It is more sophisticated than I probably need with only two properties. If I were starting over, I might choose management software with fewer functions and, therefore, a less overwhelming interface.

What I appreciated the most was the help from the entire team and the automation of managing tasks. This gives me the confidence to attend to other matters, knowing that Hostaway is taking care of the rest.

Great Multiplatform Manager
Comments: Onboarding is excellent. Dashboard is easy to use and most questions are answered in the support archive. I have only called a few times over a year for help with things, and the helpers have been excellent.
Pros:
I was struggling managing multiple locations with spreadsheets and my own efforts. Hostaway made it easy to manage calendars, messages, cleaning delegation.
Cons:
Customer service is a phone call away; I have not had any issues in a year with Hostaway and 3 properties.
IT support is amazing!
Pros:
Makes our business more efficient and the customer service is 5 star

Great Overall STR Software/Needs Trust Accounting
Comments: I am happy with Hostaway in its current setup, but would be ecstatic if they updated to trust accounting. I would probably even market it for them for free to all my colleagues in my market!
Pros:
API connections and customer support/onboarding are some of the best in the business! They are constantly improving functionality of the software and upgrading their systems.
Cons:
There is no Trust Accounting system and producing [sensitive content hidden] statements for different commission structures is a royal pain in the butt and takes way too long. Though you often get what you pay for, the software is very expensive.
Great onboarding with Hostaway
Pros:
This software can do alot. I will say they've got the onboarding process down to a science. Alma was great at getting integrated faster than we anticipated, and answering all my questions. she did an amazing job. I was hesitant to switch from my previous PMS tool, but it's been so easy and what I've been able to do with it since has streamlined that part of my business. It has made my life easier, and has been a great investment.
Cons:
I have yet to find a 'con' for this software. As I'm still new and learning, there is a lot to learn. With all the integrations and customizations, some of it can be daunting but their onboarding and customer support have been more than helpful.
